 ____☾ When the finger points to the yonder мσση ☽_←━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━ ━ ━ ⊱ ✩⊰ ╜ A scoffing noise sounded in Melody's mind as Durithill grew annoyed once more. "Don't call me human." Durithill said as angry and dark energy flooded Melody's body, reminding Melody again that he could read her thoughts while he was there. "I may technically have been human, but that body perished and I'm not free of it." Despite the fact that he actually was human, it was something Durithill despised being called. Humans, in his opinion, were murderous beings that lived on betrayal. Not that Durithill himself was much different, but he despised being called human because of what had happened to his parents. Durithill seperated himself from them by saying he never pledged his loyalty to anyone, so that he could never betray anyone, and that even though he killed it was for a purpose rather than just random. Twisted logic from a twisted mind.
Duruthill quickly suppressed his feelings and energy again though and tried to think of an answer to Melody's question. There were a whole lot of places she could be. "I honestly have no idea." he replied to the question. Belkan was where they usually were most often, so it seemed like the most likely place. Other places they had been to included Yorston and the Damned Woods, but he couldn't see Renata staying either place. "Let's look for the others that are staying here though. There was always quite a few people around her including a human boy, a human doctor, an angel, a crystallis turned dragonkin, and more." Melody sighed "Ok ok! mr. evil" she said , not understanding why he is hiding his nice self . She felt something was getting closer "i feel something.. its coming over us.." she said slowly. She stepped back slowly, not really sure what to do, she has never felt anything like this before

The moment Melody said she felt something coming, Durithill scrambled to attach himself to the necessary parts of Melody's mind to feel for himself what she was feeling. "That feels like..." Durithill muttered to himself, trying to think what it did actually feel like. It was hard to tell because he had been dead for a while and because he was feeling it through another person's senses. "I can't be certain... But it could be an angel. Find the source of it." he said as he quicky tried to remember what the angel that hung around them was like.
Even though it had been a month, Durithill's memories stopped when he died and picked up again when Melody picked up the stuffed dog, so it felt to him as if it ha donly been a day since he had departed from the world. Although it was slightly disconcerting, it made his memories of then clearly than they would have been otherwise. Of course, he didn't like angels so he didn't particuarly pay too much attention to her. "I think her name was Amaranth." Durithill commented to Melody. Melody sat down on a bench, her legs were tired and she wasn't used to stand for too long. "You think she might know where Reneta is?" Melody asked, after all , if he wasn't nervous why should she be?

Instead of answering right away, however, he made himself more comfortable and thought about what the chances of that were. "If Renata's still with her, then she will. Otherwise I don't know." If it was in fact Amaranth, and if she did rent a place here, then she was probably settled down which would make it unlikely Renata was with her, assuming she was still hunted for her abilities. If she was, then staying in one place for an extended amount of time wouldn't be smart. Which was part of the reason they used a hotel room.
Well the only way to find out was to find the source of what Melody was feeling and to ask whoever it was. "It, uh, might be best if you didn't mention me." Durithill said suddenly. "I don't exactly get along with angels." Of course some random person walking up and inquiring about Renata would probably raise Amaranth's suspicions anyway, but Durithill would remain hidden until he needed to. For the moment he would just draw Amaranth towards them. The way he decided to accomplish this was to flood Melody's body with his dark energy again, making her give of a faint aura of evil as the energy pulsed through her harmlessly.LOLTHERENEEDSTOBELOTSOFSPACEHERE...LOTSANDLOTSOFSPACEMMKAY?<333333...MAYBEMORESPACE☆✰★ Theƒσσℓ will look at the fingertip ✩

Not that he hadn't been expecting the angel, after all, but it still didn't mean he liked her. Now that the angel was here, there was no point in keeping his energy flowing though, so he drew it back into himself for use at a later time. Keeping energy primed for extended periods of time was generally a bad idea, because it could wear out the body. The strain of having to contain that energy which was ready to burst could even sometimes cause the body physical harm, and he didn't want to damage his current host.
Although since Amaranth was here now, perhaps things would change. If they were extremely lucky, she would know where Renata was and they could get him a new body. "That's her. Amaranth, the angel that traveled with us sometimes." Durithill said to Melody, gesturing mentally at Amaranth even though it was probably obvious who he was talking about. "Didn't she have a lover...?" he thought to himself, trying to remember. Yes, she did, now that he thought about it. His name was Zayne. Of course, the only real reason Durithill remembered was because he was Renata's brother. Melody noded "Okey.." she thought, she knew its better talk to him right now with her minds. She stepped over the angle slowly "U..uhm.. hello" she said slowly as standing up infront of her "Uhmm.. d..do you know someone named Reneta?" she asked slowly, not looking her in the eyes. She knew that if that Durthill was conected to her, it means she isnt that good herself..

"She's lying through her teeth." he muttered to Melody in her mind. It wasn't even hard to tell that particular statment was a lie because Durithill knew it to be since he had been there. Althought technically there was the chance that Amaranth had forgotten about Renata, but Durithill did not think that the slightest bit likely since she was romantically involved with Renata's brother. You wouldn't just forget your lover's siblings. Of course it was always possible that Amaranth and Zayne had split shortly after Durithill had died, in which case it wouldn't be unheard of to forget her ex-lover's relatives.
Whatever the case was, it looked like he was going to have to give up some information or possibly even reveal his presence in order to get Amaranth to talk. Doing so might make her less inclined to do so though, considering they didn't get along so well. It was worth a try though. "Tell her the wolf wants to know." Durithill said suddenly to Melody as he grew a little irritated with the present situation. That shouldn't necessarily give away his presence inside Melody's head, which he sort of wanted to keep secret at the moment. "And that I want my book back." he added suddenyl. Melody did as Durithill told her and said slowly "The wolf sent me here..he said he wants to know where is she" and looked away, she didnt want anyone to know he is inside her body, the less people know the better it is "Oh and!" she said as she heared the other part "Uhmm.. he said he want his..book... back" she said , not really understanding why does he need a book right now.
