My dog's health is getting worse. I'm worried that she won't make it to the end of the year.

My grandma's cancer has spread. They found more tumors in her brain and now she has pneumonia.
She stopped breathing around 2:30 am so my aunts rushed her to the hospital. Now she can't survive without a breathing machine.
Doctors are saying it's only a matter of time.

My ex kissed me the other day, I told her no.
We're both dating other people.
The girl she's with says, "Don't make a habit of kissing your ex."
The girl I'm with says, "I'm not mad but we do need to talk."
I get in trouble because of her and she gets off scott-free.
Ridiculous.
I was suppose to talk to the girl I'm dating yesterday, she still hasn't contacted me since.
