(( yeah, it does figure. I also complained because an MS cert is required as part of my advancement plan this year but I have to pay for all of the books instead of them being purchased with company funds. How lame is that? gonk ))
As you hug him, Ben lets his fingers glide down your arm and then to the small of your back just before you release the hug.
Hmmm...we could do that...perhaps a little later though...the spring mornings are usually a little too chilly for a run...Heh...I like having you keep me in bed...my energy just wanes sometimes.
(( Clearly so we don't RP it and run out of time! ))
Ben continues holding you close and gently caresses your waist line just under your shirt. He seems to be lost in thought a moment.
So...how am I doing with the things you want? Was yesterday good?

The words seemed heavy as Ben spoke them. He had no idea how easy this was. All he had to do was gradually move up the ante and you seemed to like it. It was great to know that such things were good but he also let his mind wander about what was too much too fast.
Thanks...but you are being pretty understanding too...it's just so easy to try things when I feel like you want me to...that's amazing all by itself...
He opened his eyes after you had kissed him and seemed to be thinking something with his blank look.
Tell me...since you are moving ...like this..do you like how I am ...well...moving along? Or would you like me to be more or less active? I mean...I don't really know how to go about this sort of thing.

Er, sorry, but I guess I'm still pretty tired...You should go out...and do something though...I'll be waiting for your touch...

Ben was filled with a sense of warmth as he heard all of these things being said about him. He was about to respond when he saw you go to sleep again. He smiled but knew it would be best for him to go get some activity in his system.
He gently slid out from where you were sleeping and headed to the shower. Once he was showered, he threw on some good activity clothes and cleaned up. Not long after, he kissed Synge's lips once more and headed out to the tavern and then into the street. He took a moment to stretch and then took off running up the hill.

(( Well...I thought I would be! Sorry! ))
Throughout the whole day, Ben had been gone and he had exerted himself quite a bit but the new medicine he had received from Cap had done him some good. As the last few stars joined the sky, Ben made his way back to the tavern. He quietly walked in and looked around for any sign of activity. Seeing none, he headed back to his room.
He entered the room quietly and saw his love was there quietly sleeping. He changed into his night clothes and went back to sleep with her in his arms. She might not even know he left.

Ben woke up the next morning feeling quite rested and noticed that Synge really hadn't moved. He quietly checked her pulse and her breath to find she was fine. He did take a look at the cut to make sure it didn't seem to be bothering her and when finding none of this was the case, he disappeared to the bathroom where he showered, changed clothes, and cleaned up.
Yesterday he had spent quite a while exploring the area around the tavern and the nearby hillside. Once or twice he worried that he would get lost but he found the path pretty well. He slid on his shoes and headed out the door to the tavern. Much to his surprise it looked as though nothing had happened yesterday but he wasn't sure if he should take comfort in this or worry. He fixed himself a light breakfast of cereal and water and then cleaned up the bar a little.
Seeing that everything looks as he would hope, he decided to head to town and grab some groceries. After all, getting out and moving is what kept his energy up.

*Synge woke up and felt alone instantly. She saw that Ben was not around and this saddened her a bit, but she just assumed he was in the main area doing some work. She decided to use his shower again and afterwards slipped into some clothes. She wondered what the weather was like outside but just guessed and dressed accordingly. After slipping her eye patch on she went into the main area. She looked around for Ben but didn't see him. She wondered where he could be. Shrugging to herself she decided to go outside and talk a little walk. She stepped outside and stretched.*
