"I'm Nero. From the Fubuki clan. It's nice to meet you...sort of..." Nero said with a grin. He looked down and raised an eyebrow, poked the unconscious, unknown figure on the ground, with his foot, then yawned sleepily. "What did you do to him? Is he dead?" Nero asked, fully aware that he probably wasn't dead. He yawned, bored. It felt like they had been cleaning up for hours, but it had only been a minute or two. Nero frowned at the sight of all the work they would have to do. It was especially bad because there were scrolls and books from the top shelf, that Nero knew he couldn't reach. And while Inori was clearly a bit taller than Nero, his chances didn't look good either.

Reassorting Books!
It's quite a mess that Inori made. Books and scrolls about shinobi Fundamentals, books defining shinobi terms, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and more scrolls are all mixed together. Sort them out again to their proper places.

Gennosuke continued to look at the gibberish and sure enough after his second look he could make sense of the scribbles. "The inner part of the torso is used for storage or can be home to a host of different weapons. The torso could even house the user from safety if necessary and if the body is big enough. The body is usually covered with a tattered piece of cloth of sheet so that only the arms, legs, and head are visible. The most common use for the body is to make the puppet more human like in appearance so that if used in conjunction with the Henge no Jutsu make it easier for the user to transform or cover the puppet," memorized Gennosuke taking in all the knowledge he could from the book. It was beginning to interest him more and more.

Just as he flipped the page to the next part of the book Genno heard a loud crash and a little dust fly into the air over near the reference section. He tried to ignore it as best he could but once he seen the next page of scribbles and chicken scratch he only sighed. Ugh more stuff that would take time for him to put together. The billowing cloud of dust in the corner of his eye wasn't helping. He couldn't keep his attention on the book. It was rare that things went on at the library. He was about to get up and then the thought struck him. If there was a commotion that meant that Harumi wasn't to far away and Genno refused to be caught up in her attacks. He would rather be attacked but 40 rogue ninja.

Gennosuke looked at the words on the page again but unlike the last page this one wasn't as giving. It was two pages of notes, arrows, numbers, and other things that Gennosuke had discerned as shorthand or atleast he hoped thats what it was. He put his finger to the pages and tried to find where the arrows started and stopped but he hadn't really gotten anywhere after 5 minutes. He wished he had picked another book to start with. His mind started to wonder as he propped his head up on his hand and elbow as if thinking. "Where is Shinzu?" he asked himself. Usually some way/somehow Shinzu always seemed to know where to find Gennosuke. He looked around to make sure he wasn't the blunt of anymore tricks coming from Shinzu like last time. That was the reason he had not been back to the library in quite some time. However this called for it. He needed something new up his sleeves.

Somewhere between him thinking about Shinzu and getting stronger he just so happened to look down and knew what he was looking at. It was a section talking about the puppets arms. Gennosuke began to read, well mumble, the text as he eyes gazed over the page,"The arms of the puppet are the most versatile weapons as they can do so much. They could have knives hidden in the sockets, saws used for shreading the opponent, projectile launchers, etc. The hands can also wield weapons or be weapons themselves. It just up to the imagination and skill of the puppeteer". Gennosuke paused thinking about what he would do to his puppet to make it powerful.

Once Genno turned to the next page it was back to hieroglyphs. He groaned in disappointment and slammed his head on the desk. "Oh come on already," he wailed irritably. He was trying his best to get through the book but he was unsure if he even wanted to study puppets anymore. Puppetry was an art and it took patience which Gennosuke at this time had very little. He needed something to keep him going. He looked at the page again and decided he would try to finish.

As he looked over the page it made no sense. He was rather dissappointed that after 10 minutes of looking at the words they made no sense. He was surprised he had made it as far as he did through the book in the first place. He wanted to give up so bad. He thought of all things this would be the one thing to keep his attention and yet it was failing to do so just because of a book. He hadn't even yet seen a puppet besides Mokujin ofcourse. He sat thinking about if he was going to close the book and put it back or continue on. Then he thought about Andou and he knew that Andou would want him to continue. Gennosuke grimaced before deciding to try again.

The pile of books and mostly scrolls, really, twitched a bit before Andou rose out from the pile with watery eyes. Those were quickly swiped and Andou coughed a few times before nodding at them both. "I'm fine, Tsukimiya. Unfortunately for you. And Fubuki," he said in a much more interested tone. "Another class skipper?" In normal circumstances, Andou would berate the skipping kid, but right now there was too must dust in his system. He'd caught the tail end of Inori's suggestion to Nero about ditching him but hadn't got around to processing it yet.

He moved to the side of the room shedding scrolls with every step, before leaning on the wall to regain his bearings. Then he narrowed his eyes and focused on Inori and Nero, before saying mildly and deliberately, "Tsukimiya, I think that scroll you're holding goes into the middle of the second shelf. And Fubuki, why don't you sort the scrolls. Gather up all the scrolls relating to basic ninjutsu first of all."

Nero realized he still hadn't answered Inori's question about whether or not he himself was also an academy student. However, he figured since the other guy was awake, it was probably better not to chance him finding out, since it seemed currently he was still a bit out of it from just regaining consciousness.

At the same time, the other guy awaking from beneath the pile of scrolls startled Nero, who jumped a bit at the sound of something coming up from behind him. The interesting part of it all, was that he knew their names, which meant he had been conscious for a minute or so, which meant that he had[]/i] felt Nero poking him.

"Umm...yes sir...sir." He said lamely, not knowing his name. "What's your name?" Nero asked. He assumed that Inori was the reason that the other guy had been hit with the shelf of books, so, why he was helping the pair of them was a mystery to him.

Andou shook his head one last time and his head finally cleared enough for him to function properly. So here, he had two academy skippers and so help him, they had caused such a big mess in the library in addition to skipping class. He was not going to let them worm their way out of this one if he could help it.

"Saitou Andou, academy principal," he answered Nero shortly before he bent down to pick up a stray chakra manipulation scroll and handed it to him. "Ah, forgive me." Except Andou was not feeling conciliatory in the least after the bookshelf incident and it showed in his tone. "I recognise you from the shinobi academy class list, that's how I know your name," he amended. "Class is practically over at any rate, so I won't go further into your skipping class. Both of you. Instead, your lesson today will be sorting these scrolls." Andou folded his arms and leaned against the wall, making himself as comfortable as possible. Naturally he intended to take no physical part in this work whatsoever. And this time his actions were actually justified. (Although he made no mention of how Nero had been framed. But he was skipping class and that was good enough of a reason for him.)

"But...Andou...Sir...you have to help us." Nero said, pointing to the top shelves that were about 6 or 7 feet up. "I can't reach them..." He said, as if it wasn't already obvious as to what he was talking about.

Nero's current method of picking up 7 or 8 scrolls, dropping them on the shelf, then sorting them there, seemed to be working out alright. It was sure better than doing them one at a time. He yawned, tired. As if skipping wasn't bad enough, now he had to actually get punished. He even had to take some responsibility for it. You should have just gone to class...would have been so much easier. He thought to himself.

Then he looked up again, and turned to face Andou. "If you don't mind me asking sir...what was today's lesson?" He asked, curiously.

Inori shrugged. How was he supposed to know? And besides, it wasn't as if he particularly cared. "Not dead. Though a light concussion, perhaps." He paused slightly there in thought, his lips curving into a slight frown.

"Or a heavy one." He amended.

After all, Andou was bashed by a dictionary and a hoarde of heavy scrolls. His eyes read quickly a few opening lines of the scroll, but not being able to get a good feel for the subject, instead rerolled it. If this library was anything like a, well, normal library then there should be a cataloging system so it was easier to find volumes and scrolls of certain topics.

At first, he noticed nothing unusual about the wooden spines, but spotting a small white label, he reached a hand down to lightly wipe the dusty grime off. It left a trace of black instantly over his fingers. The smudging made it hard to read the abbreviations written there, and Inori squinted slightly. He was fairly certain the librarian would never forgive them if the books and scrolls weren't properly ordered on the shelves as well.

Of course then, Andou had to wake. Holding up the scroll he had, Inori wondered aloud.

"Can we knock him out again?"

His tone might've been a little tad disappointed.

Middle of the second shelf?

Needless to say, disappointment aside, he still checked.

Inori's reply was staunchly sarcastic.

"Ah, save the lecture. We are doing this out of purely good will."

Naturally, he was lying through his teeth, as his concern really was that it was a very bad idea to lose access to a resource like the library. It was a very good thing he was able to garner extra help for the matter - wait, hold on. Did that kid say Fubuki? He glanced over as he examined the shelf from the corner of his eye, surveying the kid again. The aristocratic Fubuki of Kiri... At a singular glance, he would've never imagined Nero to be a member of that clan.

"Fubuki, hunh?" He spoke nonchalantly, as if he didn't really care, as if he was only interested in examining the shelf. "Among merchants your family is famous. The ones whom created the most beautiful gemwork among world recognition."

This shelf was one of the lower ones which had partly ruined arrangement, so it was no problem for him to reach. The section had a small kanji carved into the corner of the shelf - this Inori noticed right away. Come to think of it, it matched the last kanji of the markings on the scroll's spine. This may be quite simple after all, once he figured out all the abbreviations first.

((In the same sense, I actually added an extra number to my Successes I believe. When one of us hits 10, the job is done correct?))

Nero yawned. "Yep. You heard right. The merchants, the gemwork, the winter wonderland jutsu. All the fixins'." Nero said proudly. He wanted to say something about the Tsukimiya clan, but he had absolutely no idea what they were known for, or if they were, and he had no knowledge of them at all.

He groaned as he continued to clean the books and scrolls, picking up bunches at a time, and dropping most by the time he reached the shelf.

I'm not doing this out of good will...I'm not doing this out of will at all... He thought to himself, not really bothered by the fact he was dragged into it so much as the fact that there was so many books. Who would have thought a library would have so many books? He thought, stupidly, to himself, having never been in one before.

He slipped the scroll on the shelf with a meticulous gentleness. He could arrange more specifically after gathering up more that belongs in that same category. The small talk with Nero helped make the work tolerable. Inori nodded to the younger boy's reply, his own head just very slightly inclining. It was an abrupt gesture, curt, as if he was not that interested and only merely acknowledging Nero's rightful pride.

"Yes. The cold-cutting technique. It makes for quite some extraordinary sapphires. I've heard the industry have yet to discover a more superior diamond polishing method too." He paused slightly in his words then, and as if almost in thought, he more quietly observed.

"So your family's good at both shinobi stuff and business, hunh."

It was quite true, just as they had warned.

Everyone was so far before him.

He had no idea about the shinobi world at all, of their people, their secrets... As a child he had grown up hearing stories from his mother about people who can walk on water and summon incredible beings. He grew up with stories of men who could manipulate the elements as fairytales, of the people whom completely toppled the power of the samurai whom came before them. Even now the land of iron remains a distant remnant of the past, a living mark to the influence the shinobi order has on the world. And the only reason the land of iron exists is also a testimony to the good will of the reigning shinobi order.

His eyes half-lowered, and half-smilingly, shaking his head lightly aside the distraction, he replied: "You know, you are really lucky..." His fingers paused on a fallen volume on the shelf, and as he reached to straighten it, he added also softly.

"My family aren't shinobi, see."

He didn't give those words any more thought than that. Crouching down, his hand shifted at the fallen pile of books and scrolls. For the books, he turned over backwards, while for the scrolls he made sure to place them so that the binding side faced up. That way, he could read all the cataloging labels or etchings very easily at a glance. However, the problem comes with identifying how many different categories that had fallen out and then to worry about where to place them on the shelves. He had discovered from another scroll that the line etched below was of the author's last name. He didn't know enough characters in the traditional style, but at least it was a start.

"Hey Nero." Spoke up Inori. "Instead of doing this one by one..." He picked up a volume, rubbed at the dust furiously until it was clearer, and then showed the other the small kanjis there. "See this? This is one of the Ninjutsu volumes. It's how the library catalogs these books. We should separate them into different piles first by their individual classification. Then we can combine our categorized piles. That'll make arranging simpler."

With that said, with the books fallen on the ground, Inori began picking out the Ninjutsu volumes and arranging them with other volumes also marked "Nin". When he came across a couple of Genjutsu volumes along the way, he pressed them aside into a different pile, and began slowly separating out other genres as well. Figures, once a method was figured out, this task was actually not as impossible as it seemed.

That was only strictly speaking, as he'll worry about how to get up there later. He was sure if the library had stools, there would be ladders as well.
