I've never tried the Clive sidequest, seeing as to how I would never want to rush through the game... I'm still waiting for someone to put it up on YouTube though.

I keep hearing it's such a good ending and all--I mean, I've read what happened, but it's not the same without seeing it.

I've never tried the Clive sidequest either. I've worked on it before, but leveling up my character to fight Luca Blight was more of a must then that. Geez, I hated that guy. domokun He was hard as heck to kill.

Miklotov, Humphrey, Gadget/Camus
Riou, Nanami, Rina
Nanami has Spark + Gale Runes.
Rina has a Water/Flowing Rune.
Nanami should only attack. She'll always go first and due to the Spark effect everyone else will go right after her.
Rina casts Silent Lake and heals(If she needs to, hurrr)
Riou, Humphrey, Miklotov, Gadget/Camus should attack constantly and cast power spells on the first turn if they have them.
Luca goes down like the b***h he is. He can't use any of his fire attacks because of Silent Lake, and his physical attack does like 3-7 damage total to your front three. At that point it's all about hitting him enough to kill him.
Luca is so easy.
I tried to do a Clive run but I got all ******** up somewhere and lost an hour of time. Got to the final town at like 17:40 or something and was furious.

When I fought him his regular attacks did a lot worse then that to me.

I keep not getting there in time to even start the Clive sidequest...the furthest I got was in the forest village and then after that it said to go to Matilda...but I couldn't get there in time because the guards wouldn't let me pass and by the time I had a chance to do so,it was too late.

I never got all the 108 stars her in S2 'coz I was so young then, I couldn't figure stuffs without a guide. I am not able to access the internet then to look for guides. So pity me sweatdrop And now that I'm old, I won't be able to play it anymore since my PS is broke and I don't think I still have the CD. Oh, well at least I was able to play this suikoden being one of the best ever. wink sweatdrop whee

Damn, I never managed to get past the first part of the quest either. Part of the problem is clive wants to be a little b***h and only appear the 100th time I enter the city :/

w00t! Just beat Suikoden II. Was only able to get 104 stars though...stupid Gordon and being to hard to get.

The ancient tablet thing makes it a hell of alot easier. You buy it in Kobold Village for a few hundred potch and sell it for crazy moneys! (I think it goes for like half or more of the target price in one sell)
