Alexis Of Shadow Ouch. That's not cool. You should use your parents' computer. I can't ever convince mt mom to let me have internet on my computer, and I have to to use hers. Plus I only get about 2 1/2 hours a day, except when I sneak on or use the library's computers. So...yeah. I know how you feel.

Not cool. Good luck with it, though. Hope you get it by then. Just remind your parents. Not too much, just every now and then. It'll drill it into their brains without making you sound spoiled, which will lessen the chance of your getting it anytime soon.
I am the master at parental manipulaton, deception and secrecy, which kinda figures 'cause my mom is rather strict, and is hard to manipulate or decieve (though pretty easy to hide things from, since she doesn't go in my room or ask me all sorts of questions, but hey, nobody's completely strict).

Wow. That does suck. My mom is just a b***h sometimes. And really...creepy. Like, she hides cowboy movies and other old/weird movies in her drawers, and gets mad at me when by accident, I happen to find them. And then, yesterday, it was really disturbing. I don't think she knew I was in the dining room on the first floor. I was there, with the light off because I was pissed at her for randomly getting mad at me. And then, she walks into the kitchen, does some stuff, and suddenly starts making coughing, gagging noises. I was all like "What the ********?". It sounded fake too. So I snuck into the living room and hid behind the massive piles of junk, in case she discovered me listening into her fake gagging.
Consider yourself lucky. Your family may be annoying...but mine is plain out crazy. I don't even know how I turned out as normal as I did (which is not very).

I am AMAZED that none of my aunts or father died.

Your grandparents are scary. My grandmother is just a lazy a** who watches too many cooking shows and does not know how to actually cook a meal.
Speaking of family problem, my mom just yelled something really loudly and angrilly to somebody (either my grandmother or some neighbor, gonna bet on grandmother) and it scared the s**t outta me. My mom has anger management problems herself. One time she threatened to dump the contents of the garbage can on my grandmother's bed because the garbage bag had slipped into the garbage can. Luckilly she never did. And she's made plenty of similar threats to me and other family members. I swear, there's something wrong with that woman.

Omg that sucks, mean grandparents scare me. Hell, grandparents scare me. Their stuck in like the early 1900's X_X.
My mom is bad too. The only story I can come up with right now is when my mom saw my strechmarks on my belly (Cause I'm overweight) and she said they were scrach marks and if she finds out my boyfriend gave them to me she'd kill him X_X. Shouldn't she know what strech marks are. And my boyfriend would be the LAST person to put his hands on me.
But I hope you get your laptop soon. crying

Ume, that reminds me, one time, I was pissed at my mom for some reason I can't remember, and I went into my room. Next time she saw me, I somehow had a red mark on my chin, probably from resting it on my hand too long or something. And she freaked, told me to stop self-mutillating. I said I wasn't trying to self-mutillate. She insisted that I was, and gave me this whole c**k-and-bull story about how she expects me to drive my car into a tree someday. And she wouldn't relent until I said "maybe I accidentally pinched my chin," and she was like "that's not accidental, you were self mutillating". God, that pissed me off so ******** damn much, I didn't talk to her for the rest of the day, and I felt so horrible and guilty as though I really had tried to hurt myself. My mom is really annoying because sometimes she doesn't believe the truth, and then she gets down on me for lying, and punishes me for that (takes away internet privelages most of the time) and then I have to tell her what she wants to hear (in other words, lie) so she won't b***h to me about my being a lying brat.
My mom is ******** up. Really ******** up.

Ume, yeah, I wanted to, but that would have made the situation worse. My mom...overreacts at times. And that's a huge understatement.

Actually I prefer PCs because I'm a video game addict. But I still want my mom to get a laptop so we can have Wi-Fi. She keeps saying she will...but never gets around to it. So I'm stuck with my 2 1/2 hours of internet until my mom actually goes out and gets that damn laptop.

O.o;;; Well... I'll be leaving within the hour... pyschotic dad woke me up at 7 freaking 30 AM.
My aunt loves sleep as much as I do, if not more. gonk I was like.. "WTF?! She won't be here until like.. NOON. I have my alarm set for 9. STFU. GTFO." so then he leaves, and five minutes later calls me on my cell which is all the way downstairs. :3 So I run through the entire house half asleep- pick up the phone...

Not that you can read this now, but I have to get up at nine in the morning every day. Just 'cause my mom says so. 'Cause she's a b***h. I'm homeschooled, and I suppose she's doing it so I won't be "spoiled". *Snort* Right. I need my ******** sleep. So I've learned to sleep in the day...be up all night and most of the morning, get a few hours in until nine, wake up again for a while, then go back to sleep. I have a really bizzare sleep cycle, thanks to her.
