WOODWINDS... acually, if I had to pick the best I would pick SAXOPHONES woohoo... but were only doing this by sections

Woodwind whee But I play flute so I'm biased. I do hate it though when our conductor makes the clarinets play high and squeeky notes. Tis not nice xp

woot for the brass. our instruments are soo much harder, and heavier. you woodwinds are soo lucky, your instruments weigh like three pounds, mine weighs 10... crying

Woodwinds! But really guys, you need both sections to get this wonderful feeling =3. Okay so I hate some people in the brass section but...c'mon, really...we need brass for that loud fierce sound or something...and woodwinds to simmer them down ^^. But if the brass did something to really tick me off, woodwinds all the way! And if anyone complains about the size of the sections then you guys would be stupid o_o; brass instruments are louder then woodwind instruments so its pretty clear that you'd need more woodwinds so you could hear them too....
GO CLARINET! biggrin .

The brass are really the defining sound of marching bands, but I'm a woodwind. I really don't know what to choose....

I think Woodwinds are better. IF you don't have the woodwinds in the band, you really don't have the melody, even if the brass has the big sound, Woodwinds make it sound better!
