Hum, oh... well now we get going*she was almost dragging Tellus along without even realizing it, just happy to know that they had a destination at last... even if she still didn't really know where the hell that was*
You can't fly, can you? *she looked a bit wistfully at the heat waves shimmering off the ground thinking of the lazy ride that she could have on all those thermals* too bad, or we could make this trip "as the bird fly's" xp
stare and I could get out of this damn sand.... eek 0.o what they...*Rave caught sight of the strange road ahead of them and was fascinated* I never saw anything like it... who the heck would build a road all the way out here?

"Either someone intelligent enough to think of something like that or too stupid to realize that predators might just as easily follow it." Tellus shrugged and looked at the 'older' woman. "I say we keep following the link." The limp blue hair fell into her startling blue eyes and she pushed it back with one hand.
"You know...I've been thinking" she mused quietly. "Why would sunny not come back to the arena unless something was keeping him from doing so? Do you think he's in danger?"

razz ppshh... Sun is always in danger... or taking a nap xp
Besides dear... I am only a little fire elemental and if I forget about all the damn sand sweatdrop this place is wonderful heart *She spun around slowly smiling with her hands out to her sides and her face turned up to the sky happily soaking in more of the heat* I can understand why he would want to take a nice little vacation here... in fact I think I shall look into a nice winter home if we ever find a town or city sweatdrop I am getting too old to be freezing my butt off for months at a time xp *she laughed at herself and skipped a few steps to cross the fancy glass road, liking the sound of her short healed boots on the glass surface before she looked back at Tellus*
confused We should try to find you some water soon... you could get heat stroke really easily, and I don't think I could find my way back here if I had to rush you back to civilization, and the kiddies sweatdrop

A small burst of a giggle came out then as she smiled at Hono. "Surprisingly, I've felt better then I have in a long time."She thought about that then, her teeth nibbling on a nail as she did so. " I wonder if it...nah..." She shook her head then, the though slightly disturbing but not wanting to be dismissed so easily. "Would it be possibly that some of my more...neglected...abilities are surfacing now that the main ones are blocked. I've never been one for Fire, Air or even Mama's Earth abilities, but I can use them. I just haven't."

o.0 hum... could be I supose, I have heard that when humans loose one of their sences that their other sences become more hightened to make up for the lack... could be something like that I supose 3nodding
*Raven made an attempt to skip along in the snad almost tripping several times beofre she gave that up and returned to trudging*

Tellus nodded and simply watched the other woman quietly, trying to feel the strands to Sunstrike, wondering why she felt it once it had been plucked and so on. Saying nothing,b ut quietly thinking about what was going on, and where in the hell she had felt Vahn from as well.

*Rave didn't really have much on her mind... she was more interested in looking for bugs or plant life as they walked along, her curiosity leading her to wonder exactly what could live out here?*

"So..." She stammered slightly as she spoke. "...how is Hugin. We didn't part on the best of terms." Her face flushing slightly as she thought of the 'kiss' he had given her the last time they had spoke before there had been angry words exchanged.

oh... he has been such a dear since Night... left...*she almost choked over that word shaking her head as if to get past all the memories that tried to surface at the mention the man*
I think he is really happy to see Munin getting on with her life after all this time, although I do worry that the both of them are far too serious at times xp *she chuckled* I never really knew before that he had such extensive business interests, I contracted him for a bunch of new equipment for the clinic 3nodding
((*thinks they should wait for the boys to see if they have anything in mind for what should really happen next* besides more walking xp ))

Long after the game with the children was over, Sunstrike found himself walking the streets again, a bit dustier but no worse for wear. That's when he thought along the lines of the thread currently in his head.
Damn...if they see me like this... But he was honestly at a loss as to what to do. They can't come here...it's too dangerous, anxiety against humans will be running high, and they look human...at least in general comparison.
Then Sunstrike...had an inspiration. Quickly, he spun around and headed back to his room, past the strange gardens and the cave like houses, into the hallway where he'd first ventured out and then through the door.
The room was quiet and thankfully empty of all life. The servants had obviously taken all the bath stuff and left. With a thump of a tail and a body, Sun seated himself on the dry cool floor. Time for a bit of magic...something stirred all along his mind as he sorted through, checking barriers and locks, finding what he needed, and generally cleaning house before holding his hand out, finding one of the horns at the back of his skull and cutting himself along two fingertips. The clean slice made him wince, but he didn't let the sting destract him from the task at hand (hah!).
There was a soft scritching noise as his bleeding claws drew a complicated design on the floor. A third of the way through, a small red light shot up and started to follow through the design, moving faster and faster to catch up with Sun's moving hand. Finally the lizard slammed his hand into the ground, ending the spell with a puff of smoke.
When he lifted the hand a small creature sat and blinked in the candlelight, and then squeaked in greeting when the luminous eyes saw Sunstrike. It was a fire imp. The creatures grinned happily at one another for a moment, before Sunstrike laid out his plan.

Out in the warm desert sun, the light reflected off the two beings trudging in the direction of a link...
A link that would suddenly flare brightly, and then change course, and begin moving south. There was nothing to say that this wasn't Sunstrike, every attachment, every magic fibre was in place.
To the two woman, it would just mean a slight deviation from the route they were already taking. They were now headed for Strata...even from this distance, they might be able to see the dark ominious smoke clouds from the city itself.

eek *Rave stopped suddenly in her tracks a slightly disorienting feeling running through her as the link that had been relatively stable suddenly started moving away from them again* damn it all Sun... I'm tired, I have sand in my shoes... and a million other places... and I just want to go home sweatdrop
*She raised her hands to the sky and then let them drop in frustration* Now he decides to start us on a bloody trek further across the damn sand...
*The little red head could have wept... and she had an inkling that when she did catch up with the man who had helped make her who she was today... she was going to take a strip out of him for this...* stare
*Grumbling under her breath and her irritation humming down the length of the link as she turned slightly to follow the link she tugged slightly at Tellus's arm* I wonder how the hell he managed to move so fast... Tellus dear remind me to ask my dear Sunstrike why he decided to lead us on a merry chase through a desert, when he knows that I could move the three of us anywhere he wanted to go in the blink of an eye...

"Alright Miss Raven...but I really don't like it. But your link is stronger then mine and you've known Sun longer." She let the older woman lead her wherever they were going but she wasn't happy about it in the least. Something kept niggling at the back of her mind and wouldn't leave her alone. Though she did also feel a tug in the direction that they were now headed, it jsut...felt different...more like the one she had thought was Vahn earlier. But if he wasn't there she was heading back to the other.

OOC for post strategy. And stuff you should know.
IC because some clownshoes would prefer to watch your character development. Which to me is unecessary. Because if you say you can, then you can and that should be the bottom line. but anyway... ))

Reiko turned around to his newfound pupil and studied her for a second. What was going through his mind? Something perverse? Or something observant. Oh well.
"There are a few things we'll have to improve upon. Or at least by looks it seems so. I've never been one to underestimate anyone. They just underestimated me."
He sighed and wiped the sweat off his face with a towel he had draped over the cat sitting on his head.
"I'm sure you think it is very hot here. So the faster you learn, the faster we move."
