Kamiss appeared next to Chobah, taking her wrist in his hand as he pulled her to the bottom of the lake. Look. His voice entered her head. He pointed to the edge of the rocks that formed the lake wall and showed her a small grotto, within which a tiny glimmer of scales could be seen. The scales edged away from the pair and Kamiss nudged Chobah forward encouragingly, towards the grotto. It's friendly.

What is it? Slowly, she moved closer to the shimmer, excitement growing. She got as close as she could to the grotto, and peered in, hesitating a little. Even friendly things can be scared. And they sometimes have teeth...

Think fishy. Kamiss said, moving towards her. It won't hurt you if you don't hurt it. It's passive, and it doesn't have teeth in the sense you're thinking of.

Fishy. Right. She giggled inwardly, and held out a tentative hand. The little shining creature inched out of its home, coming to rest slightly above hee hand. Chobah let out a small stream of bubbles in welcome, hoping for a response.
She was granted one, as if on request. The little fish-beast swam in a tight circle above her palm, and then leaped in the water, like a dolphin. He looped around himself, a tangled dance that was extremely beautiful. Then, with a burst of speed, he shot over to Kamiss, tickled his ear, and hid in his hair.

(Keep posting. What am I supposed to do, say, 'Kamiss ran out of air even though he can breath underwater. Bubbles escaped his lips'??? And I'm sorry for ragging on you. Teehee. Ragging. Funny word. Dunno why.)

Kamiss smiled, and stroked the creature hiding in his wet tangled locks (can you say locks if its a boy?). Kappa. He said as he coaxed it from its hiding place. Shrimpzilla, I call him.

Shrimpzilla? Your serious? Nice. That's priceless. So it's a Kappa? She crooked her finger at the Kappa, calling it from its hiding place. It acquiesced, and swam circles around her making her giggle. Which was an interesting sight underwater.

Kamiss swam around Chobah too, following Shrimpzilla, black scales covering him as he shrunk, until he was the size of the baby Kappa. He swam up to it, growing webs between his clawed hands, and bubbles came out of his mouth as he uttered strange words. Shrimpzilla giggled at the Kappa look-alike, then dashed into Chobah's hair.

He swam up to it, growing webs between his clawed hands, and bubbles came out of his mouth as he uttered strange words. Shrimpzilla giggled at the Kappa look-alike, then dashed into Chobah's hair. (Yay for Kappa giggles!) Chobah held up her hand, to give a platform to the kappa. She grinned at the mini-Kamiss, and crossed her eyes at him, just because. It was really fun, just being silly, swimming. Joy can be found in the simplest of things.

"He wants to play with us." Kamiss said in a rush of bubbles. He paused for a second, wondering how he could be heard underwater without his psionics. "Ah, the powers of quotes instead of italics." He muttered to himself. Tag or hide-and-go-seek? Kamiss projected pleasently. Shrimp wants you to srhink down too, toherwise it's no fair.

Chobah nodded, grinning, and in an instant took the form of a small seahorse. (A Leafy Dragon, so you know what I look like.) With her leafy spines trailoing behind her, she zipped from strand to strand of seaweed, calling to the other two.
C'mon slowpokes! Let's play hide and seek! She laughed, an eruption of bubbles gently reflecting the wide blue sky above. She dodge behind a rock, waiting for them to play.

Kamiss climbed over the top of the rock, peering down at her with eyes too wide for his small head. Boo. He said, and he dashed after her as she swam off. Promptly Shrimp tackled him and chased after Chobah himself.

Giggling, a strange action for a seahorse, Chobah shot off across the lake...pond...thing, fast as she could go. She bobbed and weaved finally ducking out of sight. She waited for Shrimpzilla to find her, so she could pop out and scare him. It was such fun being so small, she could go anywhere!

Shrimp popped out of the sand beneath her, grabbing her tail and pulling it up with him to waist level. He then put his other scaly webbed claw on Chobah's shoulder, and started swaying back and forth as if he was dancing with her. Kamiss immediatly tackled Shrimp and started yelling at him in what could only be the Kappan language. Shrimp responded mockingly, and they both held their hands out, palms flat. The moved their arms towards each other solemnly, then started slapping each other's hands, leaning away from the brawl but trying to get at the other's head or chest. "STOP SLAPPING ME!" Kamiss yelled. "YOU STARTED IT!" Was the response. "NO I... well yeah... sorta.... OK it's both our faults," Kamiss said, "but lets keep going. Silas is missing in action so I don't have anybody to slapfight with." He seemed genuinly distraught so Shrimp slapped him across the face. "Thanks." said Kamiss, then the dove back into their pitched battle of hand slaps.
