When the Governess entered the home Seriva tried to hide her shock by lowering her eyes and putting her bloodied hands behind her back. "L-Lady Chiaku.. Um, my mother's wounds had reopened, like Miss Sai had said, and I went to find Cordain at the Inn.. Since he had helped her before, but he was gone so instead Miss Sai and Miss... "Her eyes travelled to Paine, whose name she did not yet know.
"Well.. They're helping her." she added, biting her lower lip lightly.

Lienna had just thought about going back as something small furry in the colour of night stopped in front of her. Her eyes widened and she stepped back a little, pointing at the bloody cloth. She had known going out was a bad bad idea. It was obvious that this town was somehow...
As her thoughts calmed down a bit she catched the cat's look and suddenly her nurse instincts started to work again. Blood wasn't a bad sight for her and it seemed quite fresh. She had heard about dogs looking for their owner's help...so why not cats ?
She kneeled down and looked back at the cat. "I'm coming."

Chiaku scanned the room again, her mouth set in a strict line.
"What about a doctor?" she asked. "Has anyone fetched the nurse yet?"
However, she remembered that children were present and attempted to soften her tone and facial expression. "Seriva," the governess said quietly, "that's your name, isn't it? Seriva, how was your mother hurt? Did she get hurt last night when we were in the woods?"
If it was a fae attack, Zeejay's life could truly be jeopardized...

Paine bowed to the governess, because it seemed like she was a very important person, seeing Sai's reaction, and calling her "Lady" so she bowed in respect. "Hello. We're helping this girl out with her wounds. Sai was originally supposed to help her, but I was there at the time when she heard the news and volunteered to help." she said, she looked at Lady Chiaku for a while, then turned her gaze at Zeejay, to see how she was doing.

Seriva breathe din deeply, "Well... No, she wasn't hurt that night. She was hurt earlier, a small while before we.. We went into the forest." she started, her voice choking up a bit. But as she spoke, it got a bit stronger and steadily moreso, she felt safe with the Governess here now.
"I'm not exactly sure what happened to her... But she came out of the forest with these wounds, arrows sticking from them.. Also the cut on her cheek. I-I think someone did it too her.. But you'd have to ask my mother about that, I'm not sure. That was around the time when my cat Worm showed up too... " Seriva sighed, this was really stressful.
Worm's tail curled merrily as he pranced off torwards Zee's house at a decent pace, mewing a bit to Lienna as if he was trying to talk to her. Weird cat.

Chiaku frowned even more deeply. The village had come to expect attacks from forest creatures or the foreign fae... But were they now being threatened by other humans? Astora Village was remote and was generally neutral regardless of conflicts occurring between outside areas.
"How is she doing?" Chiaku asked Sai, although the thoughts of the village being under attack now crowded her mind.

Lienna sighed. Her life seemed to be a mess. She didn't have friends, just studied and moved into a strange town with inhabitants she didn't even now. Anyway, now she was following a cat who was trying to correspond with her and she wasn't even able to do this right.
But at the same time this feeling awoke in her, which always accured at work. She loved her job. The young woman tightened her bag and followed the cat inside the house. She knocked on the door and peaked inside carefully afterwards. "Hello ? Does somebody inside need...help ?"
If not, she'd be the idiot. She knew it...

Startled by the sound of a knock on the door, Chiaku looked over her shoulder. Utter relief seemed to strike her immediately and she strode quickly to greet the woman standing at the door.
"Doctor, thank goodness you've arrived," the governess said, "there's a woman who requires your attention."
Stepping aside, Chiaku revealed Zeejay's sprawled-out body on the floor of the house.

Worm dashe dinto the room and in an elegant leap landed on seriva's shoulders. Seriva gasped and hugged Worm tightly, happy for him to be back.. She needed someone close to her at this dire time. Seriva's smile only widened as the Doctor, or nurse she wasn't so sure, came. "Thank you." she whispered quietly.
Zeejay's eyelids fluttered and she moved fitfully, her body racked with coughs in an attempt to clear the blood pooling in her lungs. As she coughed said blood spattered everywhere.

Lienna nodded and her face became very serious as she stepped towards the injured person. "My name's Lienna, I'm the doctor." She introduced herself quickly and kneeled down. The woman's condition was very poor.
"First of all we need to clean the wound, it's already starting to get infected. That's bad, it may have caused a septicaemia...blood poisoning." The young woman muttered and dug inside her bag, trying to find clean bandages. "Could someone get me clean water and cloth ?"
Her voice sounded astonishing firm, which was unusual for the woman. "She's also having a fever as you can see. Can someone help me make her swallow this ?" Lienna showed some algogenic medicine. "It's against the fever. We also need to make her drink enough water. Quick !"

Sai sighed heavily. She was intensely delighted with the arrival of a real doctor. Turning her attention towards the children Sai noticed Kizzy's appearance for the first time in quite awhile. "Kizzy~! What in the world have you been doing!?" She placed her hands on Kizzy's arms and stared at the handprints that were left behind when she lifted them. "Just what were you thinking young lady?"
"I'm a pancake~!" Kizzy grinned viciously. "Eeeeeat meeeeh!" She wiggled her hands infront of her mother and walked towards her.
She shook her head with another sigh, the young maid turned to the much cleaner Seriva and smiled at the sight of her hugging Worm. "How about we three go outside and I get you both cleaned up? I'm sure the doctor will have your mom fixed up in no time."

"Clean water and cloth?" Chiaku repeated as it was the first thing she heard Lienna command.
"I'll go fetch the water myself. I think the children will be able to find clean cloth around here somewhere. Ms. Sai might have brought some with her as well."
As she dashed from the room, the governess found the kitchen of the small house. She took a large bowel from one of the cupboards and immediately filled it with cool water, returning to the room where others were crowded.

Seriva nodded to Sai, "Yes Miss Sai.. But first, let me grab some cloth form upstairs..." Seriva dashed upstiars, Worm draped casually about her shoulders. She reutrned with a few blankets and a towel or two, "Is this enough Miss Doctor?" she asked politely.
Seriva bit her lip and set the cloth beside her mother, leaning down to brush her sweaty black hair from her dimmed eyes. "It'll be fine mommy... you're safe here.." Then she stood and stepped outside, a frown glued unto her face.

"Thanks, you were a great help for your mother." Lienna responded to Seriva. She gave another thank you to the governour and dipped the cloth into the water. The studied one knew it would probably hurt the injured mother, but it was the only way out.
"It needs to be cleaned daily from now on." She said while she started to wash any dirt or purulence away. After doing so she pulled a small tube containing salve out of the bag and greased the wound carefully.
As the children left Lienna sighed. "It doesn't look good, but I'll try my best. We need to get her somewhere comfortable. A bed would be good."

Chiaku nodded her head in agreement to Lienna's suggestion.
"Wait!" she called to the children before they left with Sai. "Seriva, can you tell us where there is a bed we can place your mother so she can rest?"
