"Taxi!" Kaya shouted into the air as he raised his hand for any driver to see him. No one was around, he'd missed them all. The cab drivers in this area all seemed to stop looking at about nine and much after that they stopped caring and ignored most people. Tonight was a bad night night for him, since he was late getting out. At least he could walk to the corner of Fifth and Pidgeon Street."Why did I stay out so late?" he asked himself as he started walking toward home. As he passed a cafe about halfway to his apartment, he ducked inside."One mocha latte, no foam." he told the woman at the counter as he walked up. She turned to make his drink and didn't notice the man that seemed to be hassling Kaya."No, I don't have a few bucks to spare. No, I do not. Go away!" he was getting angry now, he shoulder length locks seemed to be flowing around his face in the still air."I said PISS OFF!" he shouted as he punched the man in stomach, knocking him to the floor, on the other side of the room. He'd accidentally allowed himself to unconciously cast a spell. He just blasted the man in the gut with a super powered aerobolt."Damn. Huh.... oh,thank you miss." he'd almost missed the woman telling him his latte was ready. He sat down in a booth nearest the door and sipped hi latte as the commotion died back down.

Levvy Mie-tanuki Slowly, a wide, sly smile spread across Gervain's slips - a mixture of grin an smirk. Orange eyes following the other's small movements - tensing, trying to steady himself... the signs of stress. He coiled a strand of ebony hair around one finger - the index finger of his right hand, the ring two fingers down glinting in the morning light. "I'm sorry... did I do what?" he asked, feigning a look of surprised concern. "Are you sure you're feeling alright...?" If he could take care of this man quickly, quietly... Mage corpses were always much nicer than regular human ones... There was a certain... vitality to the corpses. Leif tossed his own dark locks out of his eyes, watching the other intently. That man had weird eyes. And he made him nervous, which was hard to pull off with Leif. He'd always considered himself a very unshakable individual, but here he was, most definatly shaken. "Sorry... I just thought-- there was a crack in the ground and-- I don't know. Maybe there was something weird in my sandwhich. " He didn't feel like he was making sense. He was flushed with embarassment. Gervain cocked his head slightly to odd side, an odd smile on his lips. "Maybe you should have that checked. After all, we happen to be standing outside a hospital," he murmured, gesturing behind himself. "Although it's highly unlikely that a sandwich could cause an earth quake," he said slyly, a wide smirk on his lips. And that was when he realised his slip. Mentioning the quake... well, a crack didn't always mean a quake... but knowing the Magics... what else could it be but Geomancy? No other magic made rifts in the land like that. But mentioning that... if the other was even slightly intellegent, he would most likely realise Gervain knew something more of this than he let on. But, if things went according to plan - if there was a plan - then his slip-up would not matter. After all, dead people don't talk unless Necromancers make this.

Heiharu Ace of Dark Blade (( Yeah like that one? It makes so funny and it so cutesy that itd make even the purest uke squimish))
"Oh im sorry Apple Puff. Of course your not a type of puff pastry but you dont really remind me of...oh lets say me. Big and strong. I lost the whole cute thing when i was young. At any rate, I can oblige to you not liking orders ,but, ill call you what id like to call you Apple"
::Jaunus unknowingly sucked the cold from Apples breath. He looked at the apple in Apples hand and waited for him to begin to eat. He was eager to see if he could please this boys palatte. Jaunus didnt feel much of a physical attraction to Apple but he felt a sort of random motherly sort of feeling. It hadnt hit him that he was coming on to strong::
((i believe its lured. Man i wish i had a picture of apple and Jaunus talking.....My mind cant process the hiliarty of it all)) ((That's it. Lured. xD My spelling was getting better for a while but now it's even worse than it was two years ago. x3;;;; *is shot*))
Apple gave the other a last, disapointed look before he turned from the other and began to walk in the direction he had been heading towards before the "distraction." He had, of course, pocketed the apple - very quickly. He was a bit of a moocher, especially when it came to food. As far as Apple was concerned, the world lived to please him. "If I'm an Apple-Puff - or any kind of puff - then you're a..." He paused for a moment, not at all aure what to say here. "A weirdo," he finished.

Haides_Dementia Chainer When the stranger bumped into him, Kuno lost his balance and fell over, the contents of his backpack dumping onto the floor. Among the things that fell out of his backpack were a small dagger, a mirror with a black metal frame, and several books, among which were the following: Homelands by R. A. Salvatore, The Complete Book of Swords by Fred Saberhagen, and Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There by Lewis Carroll, as well as a book labeled The Wizard's Handbook.Shiyaa eyed the knife, then offered Kuno a hand as Kiyo quickly grabbed the books, placing them back in the bag. He then picked up the mirror, staring at his reflection for several moments before placing it in as well. "You okay?" Shiyaa asked, glaring at the other man, " I'll deal with him in a minute..." he muttered, taking the bag from Kiyo. he knew he couldn't do much, though, the other man being a customer.

::Jaunus stood there with a blank stare for awhile. All of the sudden he exploded with laughter. A weirdo? Was that the best he could come up with? Jaunus did feel he pushed himself rather forcefully apoun the boy which was why he thought he was a weirdo. These were trivial matters in Jaunus' eyes and he decided to brush it off as a boys inability to put words with actions::

((Sorry for the load of bs. sweatdrop My mind isn't functioning yet... >.>;; )) ((S'all good ^^)) "So it wasn't just me feeling that earthquake?" Relief seeped into his pores. At least he wasn't crazy. As long as someone else admitted they felt something. Though most jaded New Yorkers would've just assumed it was the subway and gone along with their not-so-merry lives. Leif didn't like that smile though. It held hints of thoughts lacking completely in any form of innocence. Pale green eyes held a question, what the hell was the strange man thinking? And that was where the fickle, curious Leif came into play. His confidence was reaffirmed, he could stand up for himself and toy with the other man right back. After all, he didn't have anywhere to be. And he wasn't particularly looking forward to going back out into the cold.

"Yeah....Thanks....and let him alone, please, I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose....no harm done....no harm, no foul..." Kuno said with a smile as he put his backpack back on his back. Who in the hells? he thought.

"I doubt earthquakes are very often unnoticed," he murmured with a bit of a smirk, one eyebrow raised. "At least it wasn't a big one..." The two corpses - which must have arrived home by now - kept on tugging at the back of Gervain's mind. But if he could capture this man... he might get three. If his guess was correct - and it should be - then the other's powers were most likely dormant. He would need to be careful... Powers, once awoken, could cause quite the violent reaction. It would be best to kill this man quietly... slowly, as to not raise his alarm. Poison would probably be best.

"What are you, an old geezer with a battle scar that can feel the changes in the wind?" he asked slightly moodily. Truthfully, he didn't have anywhere to go, but he didn't want to admit that. He had left home with some small pocket money in hopes of finding something interesting - a puppy maybe. But instead this... this weirdo guy had found him. He usually didn't return home before... well, later, anyway. And he didn't really want this guy to know where he lived.

After sending his minions into an allwy, Cameron walked into the cafe again, ignoring the mage he'd seen before. Not hungry at all, he went to another corner to listen to more music. When someone asked him for a doller, he replied, "No, now beat it." Apparently, he didn't need anymore prodding as the man quickly ran off, muttering something about his stomach. Filthy humans he thought while looking around the room. They need to be exterminated.

Skyy looked up to see the blanket above him and readily took it. While remaining on his stomach, he draped it over himself as best as he could manage. With the dimmed lights and the quickly warming room, injured body or not, he was feeling rather comfortable. "Wow, all this room for little ol' wheelchair-bound you," he mused idly to himself, eyes once more roaming the area of the room before landing on Kalen. A slight grin crossed his lips. "I'm almost jealous."
"So, you feeling better Mr. Anemia?" he asked, carefully rolling onto his side. He cupped his cheek with the palm of his hand so he could get a better view of the other as he spoke.

I like your deviant btw ^_^ wink ) Leif frowned. This guy wasn't helping him understand at all. He wasn't telling him which one of them made the quake. Thought Leif wasn't so dumb that he couldn't figure out the it was his own power doing it. He just wondered why bumping into the strange guy had triggered such a reaction. He'd bumped into people before with nothing so serious resulting. The dark haired man's loner senses were tingling again. Too long in a pointless conversation. He needed to move on. Needles of cold stung his feet, so he just nodded, stomped them, and turned away. Carefully he trudged to the other side of the side walk, just enough to that he could see Gervain behind him for a good distance before losing him to his own line of sight.

((Thanks. x3 ))
Without seeming to, Gervain watched the other leave through the corner of his eye. He waited until Leif had walked a good distance from himself - far enough that the other would not be able to see him clearly - and made the preparations for a bit of magic. He had several bottles of pure crystal, each containing a spirit. He selected one from his pocket and uncorked it, carefully letting the substence inside - a blakish, grayish colored smoky sort of liquid-looking thing that was insubstancial, but tangible at the same time - run out through the opening and into the air. It was rather lucky that the spot he had chosen to stand in was quite secured from view of normal passers-by. The smoky-liquid stuff writhed and twisted in the air and then dropped, moving along the ground. It was now a sort of tracking device and would follow the footfalls of the dormant Geomancer. He waited a few more minutes and then began to follow the spirit's trail - careful never to get close enough for Leif to see him.

Normally Leif would've noticed that his feet felt just slightly slick, but today the snow was interfering with his normally keen senses. And the fact that he'd just had a rather shakey encounter. He shook off the added chill like a shaggy dog shaking off water, the effect added to by the bit of fur showing around the collar of his soft leather coat. The back of his head was burning like it tended to do when someone watched him too close. He got a lot of stares, people staring at his hair, his eyes, his face, his everything. He got used to it, but it was still a bit unsettling. Just to be sure, he took a long, winding way back home, leading up over building roofs and through fire escapes. He longed for the sun anyway. It warmed his weary, up-all-night bones. Finally, he slid into his apartment through the roof hatch, locking it tightly behind him, then locking his cozy apartment up tight as well. He blamed his paranoia on his lack of sleep, then curled up on his leather couch. Toasty.
