 "Ah, here we are!" Sean grinned triumphantly, after a few turns, a couple of glances at a map, and a few minutes later, found the group at a pair of large wooden doors. "This was the main chapel," he explained, pushing the nearly-rotten wooden doors inward to reveal the room inside. The dimly lit room was long, but then swiftly transitioned into a central plan, with aisles lining each of the four sides of the chapel, leading to a pavilion-like center piece. An intricate sculpture of Kyogre and Manaphy, the two twining around an orb-like centerpiece, the gem-like surface of the stone reflecting a variety of blues and teals, which, revealed by a look upward, was a reflection of the ocean itself, visible through a thick glass ceiling. Even Sean whistled appreciatively, "Interesting decor for the ancients," he commented.

Brayden's breath caught at the sight of the altar. It definitely was beautiful. Shaking his thoughts from the decor, he set out to helping Kaya sort through the rubble that littered the floor of the chapel. However, he couldn't help but cast his gaze every once in a while back to the centerpiece statue. It certainly was a work of art.
"So, any clues on where what we're looking for is?" Brayden asked Sean curiously.

Sean hadn't noticed the Pokelatian's prayer to the shrine. Currently, he was busy sorting through a stack of papers he had received on the temple, and was attempting to sort out which stack went with which area. "Ah, there we are," he nodded to himself. "We managed to get a copy of the floorplans to this place a while back," he explained, passing a paper to the two, "This temple area is the highest, hence the waterworks we've got goin' on up there," he pointed to the glass ceiling. "There is still one more level below this one it seems, although the floorplans don't show anything below this chapel," Sean murmured, trying to decipher the writings scribbled on the edges of the pages. No matter it was his own horrid handwriting he was trying to decode... "That's funny...." he murmured, taking a closer look at another page of the floorplans, "There's another room shown on this," he held up the piece of paper. "But it doesn't look like there's any door there..." he murmured, examining the wall that corresponded with the drawing, "Wonder if there's a secret entrance or something."

Brayden watched as Kaya worked his magic, making sure that Sean still had his back turned while the Pokelatian used his technique. He smiled faintly, that was a good idea, he mused. He paused, seeing the glow of light elsewhere, this one eminating from Ariadne's Pokeball.
"Huh?" Brayden gaped, realizing that the Kirlia had evolved, "Well, that was unexpected," he laughed quietly. The timing on that was strange, maybe it actually had something to do with the strange glow in the room formed by Kaya's plan?

The light from Kaya's combined Shadow Ball and Protect virtually exploded within the ball, forming a kaleidoscope of blues and greens that illuminated the room in brilliant light. The bubble-like indentions in the gem reflected as star-like spots on the walls and ceiling, forming an image of Phione. The image seemed to waver for a moment, before seemingly pointing towards the far wall with its antenna, before the light flickered and dimmed completely. A click was heard at the base of the statue, and three Pokeballs rolled from a compartment beneath one of Kyogre's fins. As one of the Pokeballs, rolled to his feet, Brayden took it, curiously. "Strange..." he murmured. Deciding whatever was inside might be important, he kept the Pokeball clipped to his belt, replacing Khai with the new Buizel.
But he knew his gaze eventually fell back onto the far wall, where the image of Phione had pointed.
"I think that might be our clue," he murmured to Kaya. Making his way to the wall which was referred to, he examined its surface, trying to figure out anything that might be of use.

"Huh, interesting light display," Sean commented, glancing up from his maps as the ceiling lights vanished. "Wonder what caused that..." he murmured, shaking his head. "Find anything?" he asked the other two. "If this is of any help, there's a note on this page that says "The key Guardian's treasure lies below the Sea King's reach. So I guess we should keep that in mind. I dunno, though, it might just be some random saying. There are alot of similar writings on this page," he muttered, coming up beside Kaya and Brayden near the far wall. Along the wall, several bas reliefs were carved into the surface. Some of an older version of Lilycove, temple in view on the coastline. Others portrayed what looked to be ceremonies that were held in the temple, with celebrations and dancing. Another on portrayed an ocean view, with Kyogre surfing the waves along a pod of Wailord, Tentacool and Goldeen, along with their evolutions, swimming alongside them. This one had the temple in it as well, this one showing the back view of the architecture. A silver gem was placed in the window of one of the lower levels of the temple, one that seemed to reach under the water. A single Seaking was carved, seeming to stare at the gem.

Sean was still studying the maps diligently, trying to sort out the other scribblings on the side of his pages of notes. The wall did indeed make a clicking sound as Kaya pressed the gemstone, as the sound of gears kicked in. After centuries of disuse, they were a bit noisy, understandably as the dust that had settled on the mechanism scattered, creating a blinding cloud for a brief moment. A doorway opened, leading into a pitch dark corridor leading downward.
