She felt waves of sorrow after her conversation with Sabin, and for a time she let them consume her, tears running furrows done her made up face, wrecking the time consuming work she had put in before speaking to her once Danna.
After a while she stopped, dry and empty of the feelings. Wiping her eyes with a folded cotton handkerchief, her makeup coming away as well, she let out several long breaths. The handkerchief was added to her growing laundry pile and she stood, heading over to her Duplex door, meaning to open it and take a walk, get some air.
It would not open though and forehead creasing in perplexion she tugged harder on the handle, as hard as she was able. Nothing. She tugged once more, and twisted her wrist painfully in the process.
'Itae..' she said softly, biting her lip and smearing the paint onto her teeth. The clicking noise she had heard after Sabin had gone from the screen had to have been something to do with this. She was trapped in her Duplex. Balling her good hand into a fist, she banged hard on the door for a while, until that too began to ache.

With two sore hands, she flip-flopped slowly back towards her bedroom area, sitting heavily at first and then moving to accomodate the tail she kept forgetting had grown bigger. She couldnt even while away the time practicing her shamisen now, and did not have the energy to try and keep balanced whilst dancing.

She lay on her side, a hand tugging on the bed sheets, and she looked at the walls. Would the door be opened again? Sabin could not keep her here forever - would he?

Sayuri confronts Oz about his activities with Antony which leads to a new understanding

Osbourne Caldwell
Oz hadn't been to the lake yet. Nearly two months since making the mistake of stepping off that helicopter and he still hadn't seen all of the Island. But its size was incredibly deceptive, and he began to wonder if all of the Island had been explored yet. He'd purposefully packed his swimming shorts into a small duffel bag, just in case the whim struck him to go swimming.

But since it was wonderfully sunny and pleasantly warm, as was common in this tropical clime, he scrambled onto a bank and laid back, sunning himself for a short while.

Sayuri Satoharu
The Sabin imposed lock-in over, Sayuri was outside. Fresh air in her lungs, the scent of water and mud got stronger as she neared the Lakeside. She was alone after all, and as she looked out from her hair that she had left down today, she wondered if the squid guy was there.
Her tail hung from the slit in the back of her yukata, and her flippered feet moved with care, picking her way along in a fashion that would hopefully stop her from falling over.
'Oh...' the small word slipped out as she saw the one person she had either hoped not to see..or really wanted to see. There was nowhere to hide and she imagined he would have heard the slap of her flippers by now. She turned, hoping to pad off before he did turn around.

Osbourne Caldwell
"Where do you think you're going?" he asked with that playful tone.

He had indeed heard someone approaching, and upon hearing her little utterance and glancing quickly from the side of his half-open eyes, it wasn't hard to recognise Sayuri's delicate form and demure posture. Although, something seemed a little off. He couldn't quite pinpoint it.

Oz lurched himself up to a sitting position, reaching for his t-shirt and slipping it back on. He knew she was a little uncomfortable around nakedness.

Sayuri Satoharu
'Away..' she muttered, gathering up the skirt of her yukata and trying to hurry. She bit her bottom lip that had begun to tremble, the images - seared into her mind and replaying from when she had last seen him.
Her feet wouldnt co-operate though and she slipped, catching a patch of moist grass and falling to her knees. Her hair covered her face and her hands were muddied but she attempted to push herself up onto her feet again.

Osbourne Caldwell
"But I've put my shirt back on now," he said, laughing, heaving himself to his feet.

He began to walk casually over to her but stopped suddenly. Was she...running away from him? He'd never known her to try walking hurriedly with her flippers, since she'd always tried so hard to walk gracefully with them.

"Sayuri? Whats wrong?" he asked with a furrowed brow as he jogged to her side, offering to help her up.

Sayuri Satoharu
Sayuri shrunk away from him, still trying to stand on her own. She couldnt quite make it so she sat, shaking, trying not to look at him. If she did she would hear the..noises - see the moving bodies in her mind again.
What was wrong? She wasnt sure how to even begin to put it.
'Why Oz not like me?' she finally managed, trying not to cry. Bad enough that Sabin had finally told her in no uncertain words that he wanted nothing from her, now she had to face the one person she thought had liked her, after what he'd done.

Osbourne Caldwell
What was wrong with her? Why was she shaking so much? And why did she recoil at his touch? Something wasn't right.

"What? What made you think I didn't like you?" he asked her, quite baffled himself.

He kneeled down so that he was at least close to her eye level, fidgeting around so that he could actually see her face, despite her determination not to look at him.

Sayuri Satoharu
Maybe what she'd seen had been false? He didnt seem to know what was wrong. Or maybe he really didnt care.
'I saw! I saw you with white woman!' Sayuri exclaimed, her voice edged with hurt and she covered her face.
'I saw..you have no feeling. No one have feeling.'

Osbourne Caldwell
OH s**t! How could she have seen!?

Whilst his little mind tried to battle with just how Sayuri had found out and actually managed to see it, his physical appearance didn't do much to deny Sayuri's claim. He remained facing her, but couldn't bring eye contact with hers, and his bulky body resigned to a sitting position now. He rubbed the back of his thick neck with his large hand.

"That...didn't mean anything..." he said, at first trying to think carefully about his answer, then plumping for the first thing that came to his mind.

Sayuri Satoharu
Sayuri dabbed at her eyes with her yukata sleeve, trying to compose herself before she faced him again. Her tail coiled around her, the fin part gently curling over, betraying her despondent mood.
'How you say that? You were..rolling. No clothes. You sleep. You look happy.' she said, sounding more like a kicked puppy each time she spoke.
'She make Oz happy.'

Osbourne Caldwell
Ugghhhh, he hated to see women cry, and even worse...this was because of him. Oz looked about as hurt as she did, chewing his lip until it bled slightly.

"Honestly Sayuri...sex is supposed to feel good. Sex doesn't always equal love," he began, that slightly aggrivated sting slipping into his voice. "Just because I slept with her doesn't mean I love her."

He had to compose himself for a moment, a part of him quite angry that he had to justify his actions. But considering Sayuri's sheltered life, she wouldn't have known that men could be like this.

He really should have told her sooner.

Sayuri Satoharu
'I do not. I not know why it hurt then,' Sayuri looked at him, eyes red rimmed, tears pooling in the lids.
'It hurt here when I saw.' she placed a hand over her heart. It was because she had left him that day. Because she hadnt done the same.
'But you not love me. And you - voice. You are angry..at me?'
Her eyes closed and the tears ran down her face.
'Danna does not have feeling for me. He not want me. I wanted to be yours.'

Osbourne Caldwell
"I'm not angry!...I'm...just...frustrated I can't say...this right," he began, the semblance of a growl in his throat.

Oz sighed heavily. He knew what he meant inside his head, but the only way to get it out was to get it past his mouth, where something seemed to be getting lost in translation.

But...why should he be explaining himself? He'd been able to do this before and never give it a second thought. So why now? Why the huge gaping hole of guilt in his innards right now. Sayuri had forsaken her Danna for him, she'd been willing to go against the very fibre of her duties...

"I'm...I'm sorry, Sayuri," he began after a contemplative silence. The excuse of 'I'm just a man and following my hormones' fell far too short to explain himself.

"But I don't care for her. I care for you," he said, a gentle smile forming as he reached out to brush a tear away on her cheek.

Sayuri Satoharu
Sayuri shrank away a little at the tone and the odd noise he had made. She couldnt simply get up and run away because her legs would not support her now, she was shaking too much. Her head lowered and she ran her fingers over the scales on her tail, trying to distract herself, as she waited to see if he would speak more.

When he apologised, she relaxed a small amount, and she looked up to him again when he touched her cheek.
'Oz-san..' she whispered. She turned her face so that her mouth came near his hand and she kissed his fingers.
'I do not want hurt.'
Her whole posture pleaded it. Don't hurt me anymore. Dont hurt me again.

Osbourne Caldwell
Oz melted at Sayuri's kiss, quite ready to just lay down all pride and principles and let her have her way with him. That is, if she still wanted to. He wanted to lean in, to hold her, to reassure her.

"I didn't want to hurt you Sayuri," he said, voice soft and honest. "I can't explain what I did, all I can do is ask you to forgive me."

Had Sayuri ever been put in a position of such power? She could choose what to do - break his heart and make him work for forgiveness, or trust him from now on.

Sayuri Satoharu
'She is no-thing.' Sayuri said, with a sudden firmness that surprised her no less then it might Oz. She could see something..a glimmer of the light of hope. That she might get something that she wanted, as opposed to that which she had to do. In her mind, Sabin had released her from their bond.
'I want,' and she managed to move enough so that she could hold onto him.
'Oz mine..' she said, tucking her face into his neck so she could kiss him there. Her tears were forgotten swiftly in her single minded determination that if she had to be stuck here, turning slowly into some sort of fish, that she would experience the enjoyable. Oz's confession of his feelings had awoken her from her sadness.

Osbourne Caldwell
Oz was most certainly surprised at a sudden change in Sayuri. Would it be for the better? He wasn't sure but 'confident' was certainly a look that suited Sayuri, and he could just hope she thought the same too.

He shuffled closer, assuming thats what she wanted from her hold on him, and gently draped one arm about her in that strong hug that was now typical of the relationship between them.

Inside, he was breathing a HUGE sigh of relief. He never wanted to lose Sayuri, as a friend or as the special company she had become. So...if he ever discovered the person who almost ruined it...well, lets say he wouldn't be able to control himself.

"Thats what I like to see, no more tears."

Sayuri Satoharu
'Want,' she repeated, her little nose and mouth pressed into his neck, whilst she squirrelled into his side, her legs draped around him, all form of propriety and decorum out the window. Sayuri wasnt even aware that they were still seated near the edge of the Lake.
Her gills moved on her neck, working because she almost couldnt breath through her nose but she shifted slightly and they fell almost still again. She wondered if Oz would move his hands on her..there was a slight light-headed feeling as the images appeared again but she pushed them away. She really did care alot for him. She didnt want to remember the things she had seen because thinking about them over and over didnt help. And it would stop her from doing the thing that she was very nervous about doing.

Osbourne Caldwell
Her kissing had almost become ticklish on his neck, the sensation of her delicate little kisses bringing him back to that same dilemna he had faced in his room. It had started to become apparent to him what these feverish shows of affection would lead to and he began to question whether he should do this...at least now, in this very public place.

And Sayuri needn't worry about returned affections - he had indeed began to stroke his large hand down her back, applying enough pressure for her to feel it, and was lightly kissing her neck.

But what was making him feel worse? She had forgiven him so fast...was she feeling more independent of her duties? Was she actually ready to explore this part of her life now? These questions and more made him mentally falter, but his body continued.

"Do you...really...want to...do this...here?" he whispered to her in between kisses. After brining her to tears, he wanted to do something special for her.

Sayuri Satoharu
Sayuri shook her head into his shoulder, his words having made her remember exactly where there were. She pulled away a little, her face and neck flushed red.
'I am not want to roll in mud.' she giggled and tugged on his shirt.
'We go..somewhere else?'
What hadnt entered her mind was that if Oz had been seen..then they could be seen as well. Whereever they went.

Osbourne Caldwell
It didn't take much to get Oz's blood boiling again and he'd have been very happy to take love-making back to nature. But even the broad daylight was enough to dissuade the normaly brave Brit.

But what to do now? Like Sayuri, he had began to think about a place that would be safe. Had a camera really been put in Antony's duplex? And if so, was every duplex the same?

Oz stood up first, gently helping Sayuri to her flippers and then cradling her in his arms. He couldn't help the almost instinctual movement of his mouth to hers in a tender kiss. She had yet to learn about the role of the tongue in kissing, but he was tempted to leave it that way. This way of kissing was just fine.

"Hmmm," he huffed. "I don't...know if we'll...safe in a duplex anymore..."

Sayuri Satoharu
Sayuri let Oz pick her up, enjoying the feeling of being protected and the safety of his strong arms. Her fingers rested on either side of his face when he leant to kiss her and the heat rose in her cheeks...and other places as she kissed him back, her hands moving from his face, onto his shoulders and moved them until her arms were wrapped around him.
Sayuri wanted to go to her Duplex..it was clean and she would feel more comfortable there.
'My Du-plex.' she said, breaking contact for a moment, looking at him from half closed lids. She wanted this thing to happen before her nerves got the better of her and gently tugged him to make him move swiftly.

Sayuri's eagerness, when she had previously been so very conflicted, should have made Oz feel uneasy. This wasn't the maiko he had come to know and care for, this was someone new. But...her new freedom didn't bother him in the slightest. In fact, it made her a little spicy and all the more alluring for Oz.

With few words of hesitation, he'd carried Sayuri back to her duplex in a similar fashion to the day she'd changed, letting her slip from his grasp as they reached the door.

Sayuri wobbled a little on her flippers when Oz out her down but she stayed upright and closed the door firmly behind them. A little shy again now that they were actually inside her Duplex, she motioned Oz towards her bedroom area...and the bed.
'Please make comfortable. I will be back.' and she walked carefully into her bathroom, shutting that door behind her also. She let out a long, shaky breath then went to relieve herself for her nerves had made her need to pee. She removed her yukata, and then her underkimono and washed herself as quick as she could. Her hands trembled enough to drop the soap several times but she was finally done and she put on the clean kimono robe that hung on the back of the bathroom door, wearing it without any under garments this time. She tied the robe fastening loosely and then brushed her out.
'This it..' she said to herself, and left the bathroom, heading for the bed area.

This all seemed...terribly polite. Or restrained, he wasn't quite sure. It all felt right, but was it special enough, like Oz had envisioned. And yes, he had thought of this possibility, all manner of set ups in his mind. His gaze followed Sayuri into the bathroom, looking for several moments after the door had closed. He heard her fumble about and smiled a little to himself.

He entered her bedroom, absorbing all the little details immediately. It was still the same drab colour as his own duplex, but it was distinctly Sayuri's room. He stood in silence, thinking over what was about to happen.

Was he nervous? Did he have to impress Sayuri? Prove himself worthy?

He heard the bathroom door open up and he whirled around to greet Sayuri.

'Oz-san is okay?' Sayuri asked, her voice sounding more relaxed then she felt. For some reason she fell back onto her manners and customs.
'Would you like a drink?' she smiled up at him, having drifted closer and reaching out she laid her palms on his stomach. Her tail lazily flicked out of the back of the robe as she nestled against him.

If Sayuri had been physically nervous, Oz couldn't tell. She looked more at peace than he'd seen of her over the past weeks, and he always loved to see a lady smile. More so Sayuri. She deserved to be happy.

But was Oz good enough for her? She'd chosen him over her mysterious Danna, but did that make him a better person? After rolling with Antony, should he really be here with Sayuri?

As she reached out hands to his tummy, he too reached out a curled hand to gently stroke down her cheek, soaking in her appearance once more, as if looking upon a brand new person for the first time.

"No thank you, just you will be fine," he spoke gently to her, pulling her closer ever so slightly.

She imagined that were she a neko she would be purring about now. A moments pause..because she was after all human, and had a memory. Oz..he had made her hurt, cry, but he seemed sorry - and caring. He'd always been that to her. Even though he was nothing like what she had supposed the man that she bestowed her affections on would be like. He was tall. Wide. A little coarse, a little hairy. She felt so safe with him though.
She wanted to again say to him what her heart felt, it seemed like a perfect moment, but what she wanted more was to hear him return the sentiment. She moved her arms around him as far as she could and hugged him tightly, then pulled away, slowly leaving his side and went to sit on her bed, her robe falling open up to her mid thigh as she pulled her legs up and off the floor. Sayuri glanced once towards him, merely waiting for him to join her.

Oz was reluctant to release Sayuri from the hug, feeling his insides ripped apart as he battled with just what he was facing. His body said yes but his heart screamed 'wait a minute.' He paused for a few moments, almost wishing it would be another 'lesson.' As he turned around, male instinct told him to leer at her naked form. True, he had already taken a peek before, but this was different.

She was incredibly vulnerable. She'd bared herself for him, and Oz could only look at her with hungry eyes as he continued to wage war inside. All of a sudden, Oz felt uncomfortable. Although he'd caved to his male hormones, he'd betrayed Sayuri's trust and feelings. And she was putting herself in that vulnerable and almost naive position once more. Could Oz be trusted?

Maybe...maybe it was a chance to make it up to Sayuri. Antony had been the quick fix, but maybe Sayuri could be the special lady. Like sharing the act of love-making with a girlfriend for the first time.

He strode forward, and then kneeled on the floor in front of Sayuri. Resisting the lout that insisted on oogling her curves, he tried his best to keep eye contact with her as he leaned in to embrace her. He hadn't removed his shirt yet, the introduction of skin to skin sensation would have to be subtle for Sayuri. He held her like she was a porcelain doll, precious and delicate. Leaning further in, he gently nuzzled his head into hers.

"I don't deserve you Sayuri, but you make me feel good here," he said softly, mimicking her actions in placing a hand to his heart.

Her fingers traced circled on the bed covers as she waited for him to join her. She smiled when he knelt before her, a slightly tight smile as her heart was beating a fast tempo in her chest. When he spoke his sweet words and put his hand over his own heart she felt light headed and had to take a deep breath before she to spoke.

She kissed his forehead;
'Oz..I dont..' her words faltered as she tried to articulate her problem. She had no 'moves' - didnt know how to proceed, what she should do to initiate what was to come. She slid forwards, wrapping her legs around him, what he did from there she would let happen because she wanted it to.

She didn't...what? Oz almost began to panic, thinking maybe she'd changed her mind and didn't want to do this. But her actions said something different, and for someone who hadn't done this before she was doing well.

Should he warn her now? Losing virginity would feel very uncomfortable, maybe even feel painful for her. He knew how awkward things had been his first time. Taking advantage of the closeness, he held her gently to him, feeling her breathing against his chest.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine...but you should...know, it might be a little...errm...uncomfortable at first," he said, not wishing to scare her, but neither wishing to mislead her.
PostPosted: Tue Dec 19, 2006 9:16 am

Sayuri nodded into his chest, her hands moving over Oz of their own accord. It seemed to be the thing one did and so she let them carry on.
'Maree-kay told me it would hurt little. But not like change so I am okay.' her mouth went to the side of his neck, kissing him there before travelling to kiss his face and then mouth.
'I am yours Oz-san..' she spoke quietly, looking at him directly after she'd broke off her kissing.

"No, it won't be as bad as the changes, I promise," he began to say, his words quickly silenced by Sayuri's kisses.

At first, he let her kiss him, but as she broke away, he couldn't get enough and began to kiss her, leaning further and further into her until he suddenly broke off. His heart thumped in his barrel-like chest and he was panting slightly.

He couldn't move that fast with Sayuri, he had to be more gentle. With a tenderness not normally associated with hands that large, he slipped into a loose fold in her robe and began to caress her back, skin to skin. At the same time, his other hand slid down to the base of her scaly tail, lifting the robe there and running his palms over the different-to-skin texture to at least prepare himself.

'I am happy..' she managed to say before Oz leaned in and returned her kisses. There was a difference, she felt that his were a little harder but she enjoyed them just the same, a slight pleasurable tingling feeling awoke in her body as he did so.

A shiver passed along her body when Oz's hand slid under her robe and her back arched into his hand, again an almost unconscious act. She mimicked him, her hands tentatively going under his shirt, hands circling, stroking the warm skin beneath.

Oh...oooohhhh...she knows what she's doing

Sayuri was certainly a quick learner. His muscles quivered at her touch, his skin tingling all over with the anticipation of more touches, caresses, tickles, etc. He brought both hands to her back now, spreading them across her dainty shoulder-blades to press her to him in another kiss.

Shortly after that, he withdrew slightly to remove his t-shirt in a most ungainly manner, revealing sculpted flesh once more. His tummy was as squidgy as ever, but his chest and arms were more defined than they had ever been. He then leaned back into her, lifting a hand to stroke down her neck, then shoulder, tugging the edge of her kimono with him to reveal a naked shoulder, that he then kissed very gently.
