Nevaria continued to shoot flames everywhere. The smoke had begun to cloud her vision, but she could've sworn that in the smoke was the faint outline of a house.
"Yes, there's something there"
She wanted to get closer, but at that moment the man shot a bolt of lightning at her. She dropped her sword and went to reach for a dagger...
"No! Change into something small!"
Nevaria was ready to kill and drew the dagger, ignoring the voices- But, then again, they did have a point. She made a wall of fire around herself and bundled up her posessions, throwing them into the trees. She looked around regretfully once, and then changed into a dragonfly, flying off to wait in the trees until the time was right.

Before Archaedus could clear the fires, Nevaria was gone. "Nobody move." He said warily. "She could still be here. Keep your guard up." He turned slowly in the spot, both to see if he could find her anywhere and to see if what he was dreading had happened...and indeed, it had. The safe house was making the faintest of outlines in the smoke that now filled the forest. Now, she possibly knew.

Star finally clapped the fire on her arm out. She shoved the sword into the ground, so its hilt was easily accessible for her. She grabbed her injured arm for a second as a look of pain appeared on her face. She grabbed her sword again and braced her self for anything. She spat out a mouthful of blood from a bad land, dodging one of Nevaria's fire things.

Dark Prince Demetrius Upon seeing her ring, Demetrius noticed that her fingers went to her chest. Maybe this Adrian had left Avatre with a memento just as she had with him...though he would not ask. They seemed to grow more and more alike though he would not let that influence him. He had acquaintances, but friends were no longer a luxury. Survival was the came and he would ride whichever tide took him that way. Why not? He'd done enough now that nothing but that seemed to matter. Perhaps an empty existence for some...but it suited him. No more friends, no more reminders of friends lost... Her words brought him out of this and stopped him searching the room. He nodded and located the wash basin. "I thank you." He said, softly, politely, striding over to it. He poured some water from the pitcher into the basin and set the ring at the bottom before plunging his injured hand into the lukewarm liquid. It seemed into the wound and the red from his blood appeared in the water. He didn't wince from the pain, however, his expression didn't change and he let it soak for a few seconds before picking up the ring and scrubbing at it with his fingers. He wouldn't stop until it was spotless and shining again. That part of him, at least, would remain unmarred. ***Sooooo Sorry*** Avatre gathered the small medicine wrap from the closet and walked over to Demetrius. She silently handed him a soft white towel for the ring, which she noted was rather small and was that of a women's, and his hands. Avatre waited patiently looking at him carefully, wishing to understand him more, though knew she understood his ways enough to know she never would. After he dried the ring with extraordinary care, Avatre looked up to meet his eyes and held out her hand.
"Here, let me wrap your hand in order to keep it clean. I would need to go outside to fetch some herbs in order to make an ointment, yet this needs to be covered now, to protect from any infections. I can make something for it later."
Avatre took his hand, when he presented it to her subtle and noted the callous feel to his hands that easily could wrap around her hand. She quietly wrapped his hand making sure to allow the movement of his fingers freely.

He nodded to her when she handed him the towel, though said nothing, lifting the ring out of the water and drying that first, with the utmost care, making sure every last speck of it was clean, that not a spot of blood remained. It was so important for it to be clean, for it to be perfect. She had been perfect, after all, so that small part of his soul should remain so.
When the ring was finally dry he held it a moment, looking at it then set it back into his belt pouch, drying his hands afterwards and getting blood on the towel. Blue eyes met hers and he wordlessly placed his hand in hers, palm up. He spoke a moment later, however, still looking at her.
"The bandage will do. You need not make anything for it. I will be fine. Thank you for the offer, however." He spoke softly, his tone just a little less neutral than it was normally. It was hard to remain completely neutral when he'd been sucked back into so many memories. If it scarred, it would be no less than he deserved in fact, he almost wished it would, in some secret part of him. Another reminder, another testament to her and his failure. He could have wrapped it himself, but since she seemed so willing, he would allow her to do it and fell silent once more. He could leave once the rain stopped and then perhaps he would never meet these people again. Would he regret that? Likely not. After all, he didn't have friends any more and survival was the only thing that mattered. It hadn't always been that way...but that's the way it was now.

Star leaned on her sword and looked towards Archaedus. "You think she's coming back anytime soon?"

"If I may make a suggestion, how about we go inside so we can get out of the rain? I for one don't feel like getting a cold." Kent had walked over when the person had disappeared. He had also stomped out some fires in the rain with his right foot on the way there.
((Sorry, I was grounded.))

"No. We cannot risk her getting inside. She is still here somewhere, and if she gets inside we are all in undeniable danger. Just be quiet." Arcaedus replied warningly.

Finishing his hand, leaving it tight enough to stop the bleeding.. but loose enough to keep easy movement. "There," Avatre's eyes moving up to meet his staring intently at her's and then she notices the strange feeling of the house.
"Something has happened," turning almost to quickly, Avatre looked at the door staring like she could almost see directly through it, "we need to go and help the others.. it seems this place is not so hidden after all."
With a deep sigh she mutters to herself not entierly sure if Demetrius could hear her or not, "This is my doings... I should have stayed out in the woods away from these people.. and keep such luck away. Shadow's luck.."
