Hey, I'm Rowena. I guess a favorite book would be Ray Bradbury's Farenheit 451...best book ever. I also like a lot of fantasy, and currently I read tons of Garth Nix and Neil Gaiman.
I hope to be a fairly regular poster.

Hello! I'm Hideko, but I usually go by Hide (pronounced Hee-day).
Favorite book? That's going to be a hard one. I have yet to find a book that I could say I didn't like. Usually, if asked this question, I just answer with the title of the book I'm currently reading.
My favorite author...there are so many! I was very fond of Laurell K. Hamilton, but I am not as impressed with her newer work as I was with her first few novels. I like George Orwell, J.R.R. Tolkien, and J.D. Salinger as well- they can really tell stories. Of course, you can never go wrong with goold old William Shakespeare.

Howdy! Call me anything you like,I'm particulary partial to the nickname cheese. xp
Anyway, my favorite of the moment is Twilight, but I'm sure it will change. My favorite book before that (last week) was Tithe. Before that, it was Wuthering Heights, before that....Yeah, I change my mind alot. It's just so hard to pick one!
Author...I particulary like Charlotte Bronte, but J.K Rowling is a must...oh and Stephenie Meyer, and Holly Black, and Louise Rennison, and Laura Weinburger (I think that's how it's spelled), and Meg Cabot...GUstave Floubert isn't bad either...
Well, William Shakespeare in some forms. I definetly think his best was comedy. No one can think of a better insult, or situation.
GAH! Too many!

Hi! I'm Christine, but any friendly nickname or spinoff from my name is fine too.
I don't have any favorites for now, but I've been reading Sharon Shinn's books, namely the Samaria series and now the Twelve Houses. I've also read some Robin Hobb but lost touch and looking to get back again.

Hi, I'm Stealthy.
I can't really say what my favourite book is; I love my whole book collection. I mostly like fantasy books, but I've recently taken a liking to Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. Other favourites include the Harry Potter series, the His Dark Materials trilogy, the Abhorsen trilogy, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Sight, and some more. You know, trilogies always seem to be good, for some reason.
As for my favourite authors...
I like Edgar Allan Poe, Dan Brown, Garth Nix, JK Rowling, Philip Pullman, and more that I can't really think of at the moment. xD

Hello, my name's Nicole. I don't have a favourite book, but I'm most fond of Septimus Heap: Magyck. I'm working on getting the next book to that series. It was one of the more interesting books I've read, keeps you sucked in throughout the entire story. So, I guess that would mean I'm most fond of the author Angie Sage. I believe that was who the auther of the Septimus Heap series is. That's about it from me though, so bye for now. whee

My name is Jay, my favorite book at the moment is Dime Store Magic by Kelley Armstrong, but I've never had a favorite for very long. Too many new books in my life. Some of my favorite authors are: Edgar Allan Poe, Dan Brown, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Kelley Armstrong, and Kim Harrison. I also like Laurell K. Hamilton, but her latest books are kind of...not as good.

Hiya! ^_^ My name's Hillary biggrin Hm...asking me to choose a favorite book is like asking me to choose a favorite food! But let's see...here are a few favorites: The Great Gatsby, 1984, Down and Out in Paris and London, The Haunting of Hill House, The Shining, Insomnia, Leo the African A couple of my favorite authors are Stephen King (who I think is brilliant!), John Grisham, and George Orwell.
Mmm, my favorite genre is probably fiction/suspense, but recently I've been very intrigued by some non-fiction books like The Hot Zone smile I LOVE getting suggestions for new books, so if anyone has the same interests as me (or different as well), I'm always open to chatting about books!

I'm Shadow or Dreamer, whichever you want to call me. Every new book I read is my favourite until I read a new one, and I have as many favourite authors as there are books in my room. But some of the most enduring are Zilpha Keatley Snyder, Tamora Pierce, Arthur Conan Doyle, Shakespeare, Meg Cabot, Agatha Christie and Ann M. Martin.

Hi, my name is Taylor. I mostly read YA books, but right now I'm working on Pride and Prejudice. Very hard to pick out favorite books...ummmm Harry Potter, Twilight and New Moon, Inkheart, Pendragon series, His Dark Materials trilogy, Princess Diaries, to name a few. Hmmmmmm favorite authors...J.K Rowling, Meg Cabot, Stephanie Meyer, Cornelia Funke, Lois Lowrey. I have alot more favorites, but the list would bore you, so I just named a few. I'm 12, but I read on a high school level, I just like YA books better.
