paradoxical Bryn McCardell paradoxical Bryn McCardell paradoxical Bryn McCardell @_@ Is it like how they mutilated Ella Enchanted? -_-; I still have problems with that... Oh please don't remind me of Ella... going to see that movie was the worst mistake ever. gonk Oh goddess...I was so excited when I heard they were making a movie, Ella Enchanted is my one of my absolute favorite books. And then...I mean, the movie wasn't even good as a *movie*...That movie.. oh man I'm not even going to start. It doesn't have the right to call itself a basis of the book, to say the least. They didn't get the plot right, they didn't get the characters right...They couldn't even get the setting right, really, besides the name! And they made Mandy a ditz!Like I said before, I'm not even going to bother writing out everything they slandered, it would take me three hours and then some. whee Good point...I just...grr. I must read the book again sometime soon...

I just reread The Magician's Nephew for the billionth time, and I am QUITE convinced that Count Olaf's character was strongly influenced by that of Uncle Andrew. He was the original creepy, skinny old guy with gray hair and a big, pointy nose, who uses helpless children to achieve his own selfish ends. I mean... it even describes his extremely bright eyes. Coincidence? I think not.

I'll have to read that book again but he does seem to be a lot like him. Except he isn't as evil, just creepy.

It was at the exact time ddr was posting the trivia question xp but anyway I feel sorry for Bryn she lives pretty close to me (well actually not really but we both live in Indiana) and I only have 4 inches, but we are the one with the colder temperatures (it's supposed to get to -30 tonight) because of Lake Michigan.

As cool as 2 feet of snow is, it put us in a state of emergency-see, this is the most snow my city has gotten...EVER...well since they started recording snow anyway-and so no one's supposed to be on the roads. Which sucks, because my brother is in town-and he lives in California-but he and his wife have been staying at his wife's parents' house, which is quite aways away from our house, so he's likely not gonna be able to get through for Christmas. And my uncle was gonna come down from Michigan for Christmas, and my other brother's girlfriend was gonna surprise him and come down for Christmas from Anderson...
