Hi I'm MG from Fair Bluff, North Carolina. We have no stoplight and I have got to get out of here and to a bigger city! I am fairly young compared to most of you. I will be in high school next year. I love sports and music as long as it's not rap. I am practically smack-dab in between Myrtle Beach and Wilmington and I go to both places often. If you ever want to know anything else feel free to ask! mrgreen

Hi, Butterfly! Good to have you here! smile That sounds like a nice area even if it's a small town. I used to live in Hayesville, out in the mountains, and it was tiny and I escaped. But I still think it's a lovely area and I'm not entirely happy with what is happening to the place as it grows. Its one thing when they got a stoplight (they even have two now), but the monster-size Ingles seems a bit much for such a little town. If they mess up the courthouse square with the unique shingled-roofed sidewalks, I'm gonna really be disgusted.

biggrin I'm T. I'm actually currently living in Massachusetts, but as of June 7th... I'll officially be a resident of North Carolina. And honestly, I couldn't be more thrilled. I visited for a week and a half, and life up here hasn't been the same since.Actually, life in Massachusetts has always been pretty crappy.. stressed But anyway. I'm leaving finally. I can't wait! 4laugh And that's my story lol

We're glad you're going to like our area, T! biggrin Mind you, there's a lot of unemployment because of the textile & furniture industries going under from overseas competition, but if you're in the right fields you can do well.
What part of NC are you coming to live in?

If you can type fast & accurate, I also heard there is demand for medical transcriptionists. And you can do that work in your own home!

Happiness isn't something you experience... Ello! I'm from the Raleigh, NC area. I'm a rising junior in college and my major is history with a possible minor in english. But I plan to go back to school and get my masters in library and information sciences. I guess anything else you may want to know is posted on my profile. Feel free to leave me a comment or send me a private message. ^^
