Whatever Layna said was ignored by Takiko. She shot a menacing glare at Zarathos while she spoke to him. "Then don't offer." Her voice was more rough when she spoke. She forced a rough sigh and closed her eyes, forcing herself to calm down.
"You know what would be great? Let's go hunt together."
It was bound to make Layna happy. They could get out of here, go hunt. Takiko could say she was going to hunt and go head off where they could not see her. They would have more to feed upon, and Takiko would be able to hide.
It was clear when Takiko opened her eyes, from the dulling grey color, she was unbelievably weak. Her usual black eyes were a grey shade, and her luminescent skin was chalky-looking.

Takiko regained her usual strong posture. She looked at Zarathos and groaned, knowing how his blood would be succulent. It did not take her long to leave, without any hesistation. She could only hope Zarathos would follow.

She stood sleepily. "I'm sorry that I fell asleep." She stated quietly, and yawned again.

She shivered under his touch. "Are you alright, too, love?" She asked, looking up into his eyes. Oh, how she had missed those eyes.
