Xerxes quirked a brow. The naga had no knowledge of the topic. "I see.." He said softly, continuing to rub her back soothingly. "How.. did it happen?" He asked her hesistantly, not knowing if it was the best to draw it out of her.

Xerxes just gave her a comforting squeeze. His head pulled away to look at Raven. "Anyways.. are you hungry? Or do you want something to drink?" He asked her softly.

"What's there to eat or drink?" She asked, looking up at him. She snuggled a little closer, for comfort if anything.

"Hm.." The naga looked up to glance around the kitchen. "I would think that there is everything you could think of in here." He blinked.

Xerxes reluctantly let the wolf go. "Alright." He smiled slightly, not so happy he lost his source of warmth for the time being as he slithered to the other side of the counter to get a glass. He placed the glass on the counter and turned to the fridge to get a pitcher of water and pour it for Raven. He placed the pitcher back in the fridge before taking the glass to Raven.

Raven took the glass and slowly sipped at it. The first glass she had gotten herself, she had drank too quickly, hardly tasting the water until now. She set the glass aside and curled up with her comfort, her friend. She sighed softly as she tried getting over her nightmares.

Xerxes watched her carefully. The naga watched her curl up with him again and just picked her up to settle her on his lap, wrapping around his arms around her. He rested his head on the wolf's shoulder, nuzzling her softly there.

Xerxes looked into Raven's eyes, feeling her hands on his long green hair. He smiled slightly before looking to the fire once more. "Would you like to come with me closer to the fire?" He asked her softly.

Xerxes just nodded as he shifted from his coil, bracing Raven to him as he slithered to the fire. The naga loosened his grip as soon as he came in distance to the fire and settled himself at a reasonable distance to the fire with Raven near him. He sighed softly, loving the feeling of the warm fire on his cold skin.

Raven curled up with Xerxes and felt the warm fire, her tail laying at her side, rather then curling about herself. She rested her head in his lap, her hand absently caressing his scales.
