Koiyuki
My real name...is reserved for those that know me best, so it shall not be revealed here, but even my real life friends know me as Koiyuki, so I often go by that. I moderate for Teh Music Guild, The Japanese Student Guild, Yuki's Multisexuality Hangout, and I'm Co-Founder of the Intellectual Pervert's Guild, and I am also, obviously, a Christian(a pretty non standard Christian, but a christian, nonetheless). I have 3 different Bibles on my bookshelf, but 2 of them are in Spanish, and the one I can read, is for kids(It's the New Adventure version, if you're wondering)

I'm big on sexuality, and being sexual with the person you love, and I believe love(sexual, and otherwise) is one of the most powerful driving forces, in the world. To me, it's like the water that can nurture the living, and shatter rocks. I want to show everyone love, and kindness, no matter what they may do, and I'm often found showing kindness, to anyone within my sights.(seriously) I also cannot STAND the typical Republican(and Christian, as portrayed in the media), so I do not often go to my local churches, as they are FULL of those kinds of people, and propoganda.

Things I like, are the Japanese culture, and language, cooking, music, writing, art, Graphic Design, Rokoko, exploration, reading, Rokoko, discovering new things...did I mention Rokoko yet? Anyways, I also ask a lot of questions (as that's the mode of speak I'm used to), and I'm very curious about the world around me. I've probably went on too long already, so I'll stop here. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

Koiyuki!! Yay!!! Welcome! We love you and welcome you with open arms!!!

Hello. . . I'm Reewantae. wink
I'm 5' 4'' and I'm 15 years old.

I am an aspiring artist! mrgreen
I like to draw, and daydream, and whenever the mood strikes me, I like to write cool stories. . . and yeah, I like to sing, and go to church, too. I'm striving to get close to the Lord, and trying to realize my spiritual gift, whether it be a great measure of faith to share with others, preaching the gospel to give inspiration to those in need, or showing mercy and kindness by cheering people who are low-spirited, because each person has his or her own measure of that gift, and each gift is different and given by God.

(I read that in the Bible once, I just don't remember what book, chapter or verse)

I WANT TO SERVE THE LORD TO MY FULLEST POTENTIAL, AND I BELIEVE I CAN DO IT IF I REALIZE MY OWN GIFT AND USE IT TO HELP OTHERS FIND FAITH IN CHRIST. 3nodding

Well, besides the goals that I'm attempting to reach, there are indeed other things about me that I should mention. I am a moderator of the Rockers Roleplay Guild (RRG) and my favorite food is dumplings with meat or fish. I may have been born in America, but that food is indeed part of my Caribbean heritage. mrgreen But if my favorite food isn't just dumplings, it's everything. I like eating pastries, a lot of good starchy stuff!I've eaten Mexican food, Chinese food, Haitian food. . . Jamaican food. . . it's been my dream to try different foods from around the world. I pretty much like everything, and I've never ate cat, dog, scorpion or alligator, but I'd like to try them all. blaugh NYAHA! NYAHAHAHAHA!!!! NYANYA!!! pirate . . . ninja . . . eek . . . mrgreen *moomie*

Umm. . .I think that's all I have to say for now, but if you have questions, I can answer. Wow. . . I really must have been jabbering. sweatdrop

Welcome Ree!! To the family and to our new Gaian church!! (I love starchy stuff too!! Courtesy of my Slovak heritage! YUM!!) I love your zeal for the Lord! - don't worry, He's got stuff for you to do!!! Anyway, all of us welcome you!!

Chaos of Shadows
Name: Shadow Lisane
Age: 17 Years Old
Important Info: Scheduled to wed next year

Likes/loves: my faith, the arts, martial arts, horror flicks, actions movies, animals (vegetarian), ancient history, Harajuku street style, Street Fighters, Tekken, Zelda games, Mario Games, Original Nintendo, music of all types, motocycles, fast cars, anime, and more.
Dislikes: ignorance, apathy for world issues, the corrupt nature of politics, fear, hesitation, indecisiveness, unnecessary cruelty, my water bottle (it keeps leaking), secrets, and more.
Reason for joining: I needed a place to go to work out my problems that have harbored within me but have hidden themselves until recently. A spirit of hesitancy and fear has overcome me as I doubt, not my faith, but what God is doing for my future. I love the sports because it allowed me to run so hard and so fast, as if I could outrun the misery the devil dispelled upon me. However, I developed asthma through second-hand smoke (my father) which prohibited me from running away anymore. Now that I can't run away literally, I feel that I can't do it all around. However, after all that time of running, the backlash of what hit me was worse than a tsunami and I've found myself gasping for the air above the raging currents. I seek guidance through those that suffer as well, I seek a shelter in a world that would find it easy to destroy me out of pleasure, and I seek strength in numbers. I also have my best friend Asha (ancient-bennu) to thank for telling me about this guild that things might get a little bit easier.

SWEET, sweet, sweet!!! Welcome Chaos!! You're in the right place and we welcome you with open arms!!! And there a lot of us here that have gone through similar stuff including me. We'll all help each other, 'k??

PewterKat here! I tried to take sort of a vacation from Gaia, but it seems I'll be dropping in every 2-3 days. mrgreen

Throughout my life I have had few friends other than God. Most of my friends have been boys that have been outcasts from the rest of society. They are looked upon as losers, and called good-for-nothing. Misunderstood, they were lost and alone, and many of them were "problem children". I was, through the power of God, able to help them see the good inside of them and help them help themselves. It wasn't ever diliberate, but they were able to pick themselves up and become a functioning part of society, and happy as a human being. By the time I parted ways with each of them, most were finally accepted by their peers.

It was then I realized that God had given me a wonderful gift: the power to help. I have always fought for the underdog, and stuck by my friends through everything. They in turn learned to stand up for themselves and become stronger. I believe that the strong should protect the weak. I may not be strong in body, but I have been blessed with a deep mind and strong will.

I am a warrior of God, however little I am able to do, I will assist those in need any way I can. It's my job, my calling, and my life.

Go, kat!!! That's awesome!!! Welcome! And we will help each other come into the fullness of the gifts and callings that God has for us. Woo Hoo!! He has awesome plans for each of us!!! We welcome you with open arms!!

Thank you. I hope that this place collects many Christians that strive to shatter the negative image the media, and all Christians like them, cast on the faith(we don't ALL force our faith down your throat, you know. -_-)

I hope so as well. That's why it is left open to the public. There is such a negative view on Christianity thanks to the media and those who insist on naming themselves as Christians without showing the love which true Christians are supposed to be known for.

Hmm, what do you think spurs such views?

Well... the people using the name of Christianity to justify conflicting issues and behaviours.

'Tis a shame when people the Christian name to justify being a complete jerk. -_-

Hmm...has anyone considered writing an Advertisment for the guild, and putting it in Registered Guilds?

I'm not sure. I know that I haven't.

Well perhaps I could write up something for the guild?

1st Draft
Imagine this scenario: you're a Christian, and you're telling others of your beliefs, and your faith.

Lusty-poo
People like you make me cry.

And then hit people over the heads with bibles screaming You ********' tard!

In other words?
I mock religion.

[-I.R.S.m.R.t-]
You're deranged, man. Completely and utterly insane... rofl

Difahrint
I don't care. Go preach this at a Church or something...I'am sure some muslim or buddhist would be offended by this.

Is this the kind of treatment you get, when you tell others of your faith? Do you often find yourself labled as a religious nut, that only exists to push others into believing, by everyone around you? Do you want a place to get away from it all?

Then please pay The 1st Church of Gaia a visit.

At our sanctuary, we offer a place for fellow Christians to relax, and meet, as well talk about the religion, and what it means to us, as well as what's it's done in our lives. We pray together, support each other, and offer each other the strength we need, here in the guild.

We also offer those curious about the religion and what it really means to be a Christian, a chance to see the loving, caring nature of true Christianity, as well as the chance to expel the gun toting, fanatical stereotype the media, and all people like them have slapped on the Christian name. Here, you'll learn that we always raise the sword to defend, and never to offend others.

I should also note, though common knowledge it should be, that Jesus was the first hippie, as he taught the values of love, peace and understanding, not hatred, ignorance and war. So please, if you need a place to find fellow Christians, or to learn about us, then do come by sometime. Our hearts, as well as our door, is always open to anyone willing to visit.

Please tell me if anything needs to be changed.

Hi! mrgreen

Now, if you will do us all the honour, please share us a little background information and allow us the chance to get to know you a little bit. Things like your name, age, occupation, social security number, bank book number, mother's maiden name...

Okay, I'm obviously kidding. 4laugh

But seriously, go ahead and tell us about yourself!
Ummm. Strap yerrself in. O:

Real name: Emma.

Age: 13, quite an age to be.

Occupation: I'm a very well-paid hobo. surprised

Personality Wise: By nature, I'm a pacifist and mildly cynical. I'm a very sensitive person, but due to the way I was raised, it's very possible for me to be viewed as a bit of a villain. Because of this, I tend to obsess over whether or not I'm being mean or not when I say anything, and seem to have an eternally guilty conscience. gonk
I have always idolized Fred Rogers. I guess that speaks for itself. I greatly value origionality, faithfulness, and gentleness. I like to think I keep my values high in matters of importance, but I know I don't always stick to them. I'm a big pushover, and much more of a loyal follower than a leader. I have a huge Peter Pan complex, and I don't think of myself as a teenager in any way.

Denomination: Episcopalian. No wonder I'm so scruffy. gonk

Areas of Expertise: Art of various sorts, buying neck ties for people, human psychology, being the conscience of the group, Christian logic, leaving answering machine messages that make Kit's day, being a thoroughly unintimidating person.
