Kurokouchuu (correct spelling for once) Would look to her its eyes were still glowing red, from the camera planted within its eye's. That was why kaijinbo always watched so much tv to control the puppet from long range, and with the walkie talkie he had placed within it he was able to communicate with her as well. "You weren't even able to scratch the Kurokouchuu....however....causeing damage to this issnt something easily done either....durring the war when i trained him with the isshi bushin technique he didnt have the easiest time damaging it either....dueley note i blasted him directly with the grenade...three times.......stubborn son of a b***h would stay down." Kurokuchuu would begin to slump foreward as its eys stopped glowing, and suddenly a crest would form under its legs and it would poof in to some, which only left the other figure completely cloaked and covered its head by shadow, this one didnt seem as big as the previous.

Hitomi had gotten her second wind. She stood up and looked at the remaining puppet. "Such a gentleman, to not hit a girl while she's down. You even helped me up!" She rolled her neck across her shoulders, completely ignoring the pain. She reached into her pouch and pulled out a small, white pill. Swallowing it, she shook her head and looked at him. "So. Are you really this much a nice guy, or are you going to come over and give a girl some sugar?" She waited, with obvious tension in her muscles, but complete lack of pain... Although, she didn't look to be all there, either.

((help you up?))

The puppet would begin to move closer to her, was it going to help her up, its cloaked arm would begin to reach up as if to help her up, but suddenly a large scythe blade would extend out barely missing her shoulder and neck sticking in to the ground besides her head. "...Im a ninja i am no gentle man, remember this well of any shinobi...you must never trust anybody." The puppet would slash the scythe past her face barely missing her by so little it would of been hair's length, he would then move back away from her. "Get up im tired of playing around...now you have proven your worth....you were not able to damage kurokouchuu...however you proved to be very tactful...so i have decided what the best course of action for you to train would be.......to be a puppet master would must be able to see ahead of your enimies course of action and attack, to see what they see before they do...prediction....thats what it takes to a a puppeteer.......so to manage to use what little skill you have as a tactic to even slightly misjudge my aims proves you have potential talent, threw intelligence. This is good....as i dont have to kick you off the squad for you being useless you should be proud...your going to learn how to puppeteer from best puppet master in Iwagakure!" It would sound like he was very full of himself, but it was flat out the truth he was and iwa didnt have many puppet masters, but even if they did he was in a class of his own as not only did he control them flawlessly, he made them so to near perfectly. He was the one that added most of the weapons to kurokouchuu with out hampering its special weapons, as well and turning something so heavy in to a quick and powerful basaltic barrage that could take down anything that stood in front of it...that was the worse place to be was in front of a tanks barrel.

((She's a little out of it. razz ))

Hitomi was silent for a moment. She was waiting for the punchline. And it didn't come. She wasn't going to assume that he told any jokes, but she was willing to wager that if this was a joke, his comedic timing could not be this horribly bad... "A.... Puppeteer? How am I going to control a puppet with a puppet? I've never even fathomed it. I'm sure there's laws somewhere." She was silent for another minute.... "Okay, then... So I'm going to be a puppeteer... I always liked having back up. So. Are we going to get started?"

B-rank mission: Protect the wagon begin!

The loud sound of thudding hoves and wooden wagon wheels crushing everything its it path like a stampede. The horse was pulling the wagon with several tons of gold bars behind it like it was nothing, the horse was moving at incredible speeds with four genin at its corners running along side most likely as fast as they could just to keep up. The first part wassnt bad was getting to the otouto mountain range path, once there it was going to be much more dangerous the path being only way the wagon could go, as well as high points being on both sides of the wagon nearly the entire way, it wassnt just going to be a up hill fight, it was litteraly going to be a up mountian fight.

Shizuka tried her best to keep up speed on par of the wagon but it was tough! With these damned weights on! Grr! Couldn't she just put them on when she got into a fight or something? Shizuka was on the top right corner of the wagon and to stir up a conversation with the old guy, she would talk up. "Hey! Old guy...Do you know the fire daimyo? How is he?" Shizuka placed her goggles over her eyes, she knew that Iwagakure was going to get quite dusty.

Shinratsu was certainly glad now that Zephyr had insisted on the avalanche business... As odd as it would sound, that trench digging did help enhance his endurance. Though...this otou mountain path... While he did memorize maps of all the notable landmarks of Iwa during his first days in the village...experiencing them and following outlines were much different experiences. So far, he had perhaps explored only a few of the places outside the village itself, the canyon and plateau included.

But still, it was better than being unprepared at all, right? Did Giglamesh perhaps know about that...to hand him temporary squad leader... While he was capable of inflicting damage, however...at this point, it was still dangerous for him with this...incomplete Hyouton usage. His perfect recall though was a plus and already always the planner... But still, it was unsatisfying. What exactly was his role?

Giglamesh expects him to act as support this time... Does this then also have something to do with the last mission's results?

"What chu say young and ditzy!" He would yell back to shizuka, the cloping of the large and strong horses shoes made it hard to hear much of anything. "Hope you ready youngins its gonna get fun soon enough HYAH!!!" The horse would begin to pick up speed even great because they didnt see what was up ahead, the path literally turned and the old man had the wagon keep going straight over then side. the entire wagon would come off the ground and begin to slide down a sttep rock hill before the horse would litteraly being to run down the hill, at the bottem of them hill there was another incline which the horse and wagon basicly jumped like it was ramp to a different path "YEEEEEHAAAAWWWW!!!!", and it would just keep going as if nothing happened. Was this old man crazy doing things like that, no he had to keep changing the path to make it harder from the demon bandits to intercept them.

Shizuka's jaw dropped to see how the wagon was moving. "I...Packed those gold bars...And he's going to do that?" It was unbelievable. "W-wait gramps!" Shizuka shouted out as she held onto her backpack straps and ran for her life to follow the Wagon. "Young and Ditzy? Well this guy is old and senile!" Shizuka mumbled to herself as she followed the wagon. "For a mission about fending off demons you sure are on a hurry!!"

Hm...

Now, what would be an appropriate phrase for this type of situation...

Damn that old man. Damn him to hell. May he burn in the eternal flames...no, may he be thrown in demon lord's circle. And be buried upside down in ice... Wait. Why the heck was he thinking of the Inferno?

Shaking Dante out of his mind, Shinratsu was very short of pulling out the wire of his Ayame Tori and purposely make an avalanche had Giglamesh's pissed off face not popped into mind (Shin's expresion: -_-'' ). Oh yeah, something about his perfect mission record.

Bah.

But seriously. A rock to the old man's head, nobody would even know it happened...

"What youngin ditsy!?....no the priority is to protect the wagon and cargo not fight them you spoze to protect ol betsy, me and the cargo."The man would just keep speeding around a mountain curve with a thirty foot drop on the outside turn, and he would fly around it so fast the wagon would begin to tip on two wheels, and right as it was about to completely tip over the horse following the path would change direction making it land back on all four wheels. from all the clatter of the horse and wagon up ahead rocks would begin to tumble down blocking the mountain path. But did he slow down....hell no he would literally whip the horse again with the reins making it jump over the rock slide taking the wagon over with it. To the four genin in tow it would seem like slow motion as this mission was so important, but he seemed almost reckless, but how he handled the horse, it was obvious there was a great amount of skill involved. the old man must of done this his hole life, as shin would glare at the old man as they jumped the rock slide a decent sized rock was nearly about to hit the old man in the head, but the instant before it did it was like the rock disappeared and the wagon kept going after landing in a mad rush still.

"Come on gramps! Slow down!" Shizuka Continued to run for the wagon in the state of panic that this mission could easily be the end of Giglamesh-sensei's finished mission streak. "What are you doing?!" That jump...What is the point of it? Why did he have to do it!? Is he possessed or something? "If you want us to protect you three, how about slowing down a wee tad?!" Well not for his sake, but for hers! It seemed any other ordinary idiot handling a horse like this would obviously fall to his well deserved doom...but this guy was quite different. Maybe he enjoyed riding like this and knew how to, but Shizuka wasn't used to running for her life on a god damned mountain! She felt like ripping into the mountain to get a nice sitting spot until the mission really began, but sadly that would never happen.

"Cross. Don't hesitate." The order from Shinratsu came quietly, but commandingly. Running ahead of Shizuka...he had clearly seen the danger. The stupid old b*****d... The senile driver had disturbed the whole boulder pile he passed by. And Raisuke... Where on earth was the third? Fine fine, let Rai just cut through the boulder pile later. Some team travel... Shin tucked in a mental note to thank Zephyr later. Thanks to that crazy Hokage...he knows this is possible. Neutral eyed (expression: -_-) remembering the Hokage's 'rock surfing', Shin crossed the length of the falling boulder pile by jumping lightly from one boulder to another, kind of like stepping stones...just got to keep track of more falling overhead.

Though, when they were safe on the other side. A veinpop appeared on Shin's temple. "That old man wants to get chased by demons..." The aura around Shinratsu turned menacing. "So I'll give him a demon..." Not saying another word to Shizuka, besides something about no clause over injuries to the client...there was then a cloud of dust. Ah. So he's going superspeed now, using chakra as a spring.

Hm...so Shin was pissed. But that works. Anger is good fuel, too.

...and it seems that by now, he doesn't care Gig's perfect record tarnishing...

All that was important right now, was to catch that old man and his horse, and knuckle rap both on the head.
PostPosted: Tue Jan 20, 2009 7:04 pm

Suddenly the old man would grab a lever and pull it hard it was the wagon breaks as well and pulling back on the rise the horse woudl rear up stopping, and both the horse and wagon would stop within a few feet , then he would turn the horse and they would slowly go down the steep wall to the left of the wagon slowly at the bottom he would just trot the horse slowly, up ahead was a huge open area like a valley that was there destination. The horse was now basicaly trotting going not much faster than normal walking speed for a normal human.

Amaya had witnessed many instances of reckless abandon in her short life time. But this old man was just plain off his rocker. Definitly far worse along than being a few kunai short of a whole weapons pack. And yet through all of the dashing and dodging and sliding and near-disasters, the horse, cart and old man were all still in one piece. They were all also able to keep-up. That was a good start...But there was something strange about this old guy, aside from his amazing horse maneuvering talents. She had nearly leapt out of her wrappings when it appeared that a stray rock would smash through his head. But then suddenly the rock had just vanished. Could the old guy really be that good? She supposed it wasn't anything to really be concerned about. They all managed to make it through the rumbling rocks safely, so that was all that mattered for now.

Then suddenly the wagon came to a grinding hault, changing its speed to something much more calm. Amaya slowed up her pace as well moving along the steep mountain wall untill the cargo had reached flat land again. Up ahead there looked to be open land. She narrowed her eyes then, resting one hand casually on the hilt of her sheathed blades and the other against the side of the wagon. Things were bound to become interesting anytime now. Her eyes and ears remained alert as they continued to walk calmly on.
