"Like it? I love it!" The necklace described her heritage quite well, pearl for water and silver for mystique. She hated to think about how much it must've costed him... Rivera touched it lightly. It formed a wide arc over her collar bones, the heavier links hanging down the back and the adjustment chain with its crystal drop dangling from it between her shoulder blades. Usually, something like that would irritate the skin on her back, where there were scars... but this one didn't seem to. It was very light.
"By the way, when is the Sakura picnic?" Rivera asked. She knew it was going to happen soon, but she didn't know when... hopefully it won't interfere with the star test too much... or the crimson decadia. Turning her head slightly, she could see Usagihana escaping from Kai out of her periferal vision.

Hakai smiled and laughed, a bit sad things were coming to an end, she had made so many new friends and enjoied herself greatly.
"Everyone! I just have to say, this is the best day I have ever had since coming to Ria! Who's with me?"

Kai suddenly felt a flash of pain in the back of his head. He didn't flinch, but touched the spot lightly. Rivera felt it too and immediately stopped talking. Without another word, she got up and left. Her eyes were as blank as anything. An upside down pentagon appeared on her head, flashing a faint silver under her raven colored bangs. Kai found enough time to give Sakura a warning before he was forced to leave as well.
"Prepare for the Crimson Decadia... "
A similar blank state over came him. His eyes lost their glimmer... and he left after Rivera. They both departed as swiftly as the wind.
Usagihana looked after them. For once, the robot was serious. "This isn't a joke... within a few minutes, we will all be in grave danger..."

Hakai blinked hearing the Bunny bot as she had mentally started calling her. Putting her hands on her hips and tilted her head blinking several times.
"Oi! Bunny bot, whats wrong with you? Ya looking kind of pale...for a bot that is." She snicked in her head and sighed looking around wondering what the sundden unsteadiness was about.

"Oh... nothing much!" Usagihana bleeped, then went to rest on the sofa. "It's just that we're all going to be under attack in a few minutes... well, not the dorms, just the outer fringes off campus, but we'll be pretty close. I posted a notice about this on the events database... but lots of the information in Rivera's compy was encoded. I never got all of it out. All I know is it's called the Crimson Decadia. It's pretty harsh on her... " The robot turned over and began to snore.

Kira watched them leave quietly.Great...Now I have no idea what's going on...He thought annoyedly.He found a seat unsure of what to do and sat there patiently awaiting Rivera's return.
((BTW...Sorry I was gone so long...My mom came in and took me to a water park and theme park.))

Usagihana sighs. "Well, I suppose everyone should go back to their dorms and get ready to hide or run or fight. One of three... It's probably safer here--" A soft bleeping sound cam from its left ear and the LCD touchscreen panel became a strange looking red wave length... "Rivera's life support data is fluctuating... I think we're in a pickle... tracking location now..." There was a few moments before the bot spoke again. "GPS targeted location. Crystal moon lake... area surrounded by a barrier. Level of protectivity, 22+ ... that's beyond the scale of 20"

Taking out his lighter he blew on it gently as a flame went straight for the box setting off as fire works shot out into the night sky.
"Bwahahaha fireworks palooza and now if all of you would pardon me I heard there were goodies at the Maijin Ruins", he sad to no one in particular and was off.

"I'm going...Kuro...Let me borrow the fang..."Kira said quietly as he loaded Diabolo and Tenshi, his two handguns.
"Take care of it..."Kuro said tossing the Angel Fang to Kira."Have fun..."Kuro sighed as he walked out of the dorm.
Kira walked out of the dorm to his destination.I hope she's alright.

The door squeaked open with a crickety creak. The dorm was still small on the outside, but the attached dimensions were still in there, making it seem like some large house or another. Everything had been cleaned up from the party to a pristine clarity. Rivera entered, but it was Kira carrying her. She felt like a rag doll, helpless yet not really caring about it. This went against her Gyrfalcon personality that she retained as a princess back a long time ago.
"I'm not supposed to be a priestess." She started. Kira had asked her if being a priestess was all she remembered. "I only learned about that three months ago, when the storm told me... My sister, Raesekri was the last Pritier Praeisa'acue, and she was dead... so I'm last in line for the job, to make sure the world won't fall apart..." She whispered lightly, wearily. Usually, Rivera would feel hurt saying these things... but now, all she felt was a torrent of things pouring out of her mind, and her mind was relaxing little by little.
"Other than that, I have no memories beyond three months ago... The first thing I remembered was being in the middle of a gun fight and getting shot... there there was the court, the detention hall... and the asylum, then boot camp, an old apartment, then ... I suppose the government paid to dump me here and just be rid of me for good... the couldn't keep me like they kept others... " Rivera bit her lip at the memory... it hurt like hell.

Kira set Rivera on her bed and sat at the foot of the bed."We both aren't really wanted are we?"He asked with a small, sad smile."The only reason I'm here is because Kuro wanted me out of his mind...I wanted out too but there's just that feeling..."He said quietly."So...You are a priestess because you were last in line and your family's dead..."He said quietly absorbing everything.He wrapped his wings around himself as he thought once more.

"Yes... " Rivera let her head fall back into her pillow comfortably. She didn't let go of Kira's hand though. Her bed really wasn't a bed, just a small wooden frame about 4 inches off the ground with a padded futon like thing on it. Rivera prefered to sleep close to the ground. She had been attacked in her sleep once, and that taught her the best place to fall from is as close to the ground as possible.
"I was a b*****d princess... borne by my mother, the Empress, after she fell in love with a human half dragon. The only suspicions that ever arose about my true lineage lay in my eye color... everyone in the family had green eyes except for the Emperor... but his were gold and mine were blue, at first... Then they started to see that my right eye was a dragon's and both of them changed colors... so, they knew I was a b*****d..." Rivera spat out the hated word like it was filth on her tongue, to get rid of it quickly.
"I was the last in line to the Atlantean throne... and I was nothing like my sisters... they called me Isekri... it meant Ice Bird--the Gyrfalcon... What ended up happening was I somehow ended up as the commander in chief of their army, somehow... I don't remember, I can only read from an archive of what supposedly happened..." She whispered softly, squeezing Kira's hand gently.
"What matters is that we have each other, and as long as you aren't within the range of my chaos continuum, we can stay together..." She remembered Darc... he had been so nice to her, but she was forbidden to see him again on the threat of having the world tear up around them whenever they tried to meet. He had experienced her chaos continuum first hand by a complete accident. Pity... he sang really well.
"Out casts have to stay together... right?" She attempted a weak smile. Her free hand went towards the silver and pearl necklace at her throat, the one Kira gave her for her birthday. It always comforted her, like a little reason for existence she could carry around. "That's how we stop becoming out casts.... "

"Don't call yourself a b*****d... No matter what context it's in...." Kira said simply. His thoughts were swirling in his head like a melting pot. So... I knew she was a princess... But now I know that she doesn't remember anything... She ended up commander-in-chief... So that's where she learned to fight... He thought as a flashback of the fight when he and Kuro were still joined by the mind entered his thoughts. He lifted her hand to his lips and kissed it gently. "Alright... We'll talk about this later... You should rest... I'll be here with you... I get the feeling we're both going to sleep for a long while though..." He said leaning towards her and kissing her lips gently, the way she had done to him in the forest near the lake.

Rivera could barely feel his kiss on her lips, giving her warmth and enough strength to have a sleep with dreams. She dreaded and despised dreamless sleep with a passion. It creeps her out more than anything else besides leeks, insects and large men with twisted minds. Rivera nodded, smiled and turned over so she had her back against the wall and leaving the other side of the bed empty. Her bed was large enough for five people, since she preferred to have a large space to roll over in She saw no reason why Kira should sleep on the sofa. Her sofa was extremely narrow anyway. Besides, if he stayed three feet away from her, there wouldn't really be a problem anyway.
Rivera really didn't think on the subject so much. It’s been a long time since she had a chance to sleep… Her thought caught a snag on Kira’s mind, And here comes 3 weeks worth of sleep… Usually, she doesn’t snag on other people’s thoughts unless if there had been a bond forged deliberately between them. For instance, the ceremony that bound Kai to her as her guard and servant for eternity, or until the death of either one of them allows Kai to hear her thoughts only when she allows and her to hear his without his consent. Maybe there was a bond already forged between her and Kira? That thought didn’t last long either in her sleep deprived, weary mind.
She felt like she could sleep like the dead just about now. Then again, the mention of the dead would keep her awake for nights in a row. To be among the ranks of the Empire that she knew had died was nerve racking for her. This last thought lingered for an extra wavering moment, then sparked off. “Arigato… Kira-kun… “ Rivera whispered and fell asleep with thoughts of angels in her head.
