"Oh... right..." he said, his face a bright red as he stared down at his feet. "I... stay in the dorms at the school..." he said softly. He smiled slightly, glad to be talking about something else. "That sounds nice," he said, finally raising his eyes to the other's.

"Al right. Let's see then, there should be a place on the way. Who are you dorming with? I mean, right now I'm staying at my parents place and well... I don't get along very well with anyone there..." He put his hands behind his head as he walked along casually.

"I don't have a roomy. I have 'past troubles' - or so says my stupid record - and thus they think it best I not have a dormy that I don't know. But if you want to move in with me, you can," he said, hacing caught the hint. "I hate living alone. It means I always have to cook," he said with a slight grin on his face.

"Well, if you can live with my cooking and the fact I have to get up every night for a midnight snack..." He blushed a little. "Thanks! Oh, here we are." He led him to a little ice cream parlor.

"You know the city pretty well, huh..." he said, lookign around the small shop. It was nice and clean and it smelled sweat. He instinctively liked it.

"Well, I've lived here my entire life. My elementary school is right around that corner." He pointed to the near corner. "This ice cream shop has been here for a long time. When I was little, mom would take me here every Friday." He frowned.
"Can I help you two?" A little old lady came out from the back, and got the biggest grin when she saw Aiko, who immediately hid behind his new friend.
"Uh oh... He whimpered as the old lady came around the counter and captured him in a big back breaking hug. "N-nice to see you a-agin Mrs. Dawson...!" He managed through clenched teeth and she set him down.
"Oh stop that. You call me Dolly, like you used too." She said matter-of-factly and turned towards Yuki. "So you must be a friend. You can call me Dolly as well." She beamed at them both, then scuttled behind the counter again. "So, what'll you two have?"
Aiko blushed. "Chocolate..." He mumbled.

Yuki grinned at Aiko. "Mmmm... strawberry..." he said, sitting down by a table. He hadn't had ice cream since he was a kid. And he loved strawberries. He looked exceedingly happy at the prospect of strawberry-something.

They were served their super double topped extra serving of icecream for free and Aiko waved as they left. "Sorry about that... Geeze, you'd think I haven't seen her in ages." He grinned.

Aiko blushed. "Something like that. I LOVE ice cream." He smiled happily. "Oh, here we are, the school..." It was already dark out now and the street lamps cast an eerie glow. "Um... mind if I sleep over? My house is a bit a ways away." He looked up at Yuki.

"Sure... no problem. Do you need to call your parents?" he asked, taking a cell phone out of one of his pockets with the hand that wasn't holding his icecream.

"I-I'd rather not..." He looked genuinely frightened. "I-I mean... I just really dont think mother would..." He looked away. It's alright really. She should be used to me running off lately..." He finished his ice cream and started up towards the school. "I'd really just like to get some sleep. What room are we in?" He smiled a little too brightly.

He didn't comment. He could understand arguments with parents and didn;t think it best to pry. "One-oh-seven." He slung and arm around the other's shoulder and began to lead him there.

Aiko froze a moment, then relaxed. He looked up at Yuki shyly, then down at the floor again, blushing. 'Stop it... get ahold of yourself. He probably doesn't even like other men... I don't like other men! What am I thinking!' He blushed harder realizing the irrationality of what he was feeling. What was he getting so worked up about? Sure he admired the kid but... "S-so this is it?" He looked up at Yuki again, the blush spreading and he shifted his feet nervously.

He nodded, noting the blush on the other's face. He yet again decided it was best not to comment. "Yeah. Home sweat home," he said with a slight grin. He rached into his pocket with his free hand until he found the key and he unlocked the door.
