this upcoming year, we're going to do King Kong! I LOVE the 2nd movement! Beautiful just sends chills down my back.

Durza the Shade Our show title is . . . The Periodic Table. Yup, in my school, band nerds are other kinds of nerds, too! I so wish it was called Elements, which sounds infinately cooler, but . . . eh. Anyway, the three songs, which are all original compositions by Scott Hickey: Chemical AbstractsMetals and Halogens (this one ticks me off to, because he was going for a metal/gas contrast in the music but didn't want to put "gas" in the title . . . makes sense, but not all halogens are gases!) Particle Acceleratorwow. in my band we call ourselves nerds but really we aren't. i think all peoples in band are awesome and are definately not nerds. but ur show sounds very interesting.

My band had like didn't have any specific theme this year. The songs we played for our field show were
Bohemian Rhapsody
Walking on the Sun
Holiday
maybe some sort of rock theme I guess

I am so sad!!! Its the last parade of my band season and it might be canceled!! Its thunder storming on and off al day so far and its only suppose to get worse tonight ;-; Plus I want to kill this on certain person..........anyway, ya, heh

iOggy Mwahaha! I am different! For my band is not doing a PotC show! Our show is based on music from Cirque du Soleil. The four songs: Distorted Reve Rouge (the first e has the little ^ over it...) A La Lune Urban this is the 2nd band i've heard of doing a cirque de soleil show! smile my band did that 2 years ago. it was like my favorite show. i wasn't in it that year, but i no one of the songs was incantation except like altered slightly. they still chanted tho. r u gonna have a headless percussionist? yay randomness. good luck. anyway, this year the theme is orchestra. the music actually sounds really cool. my band friend said the music is like really hard. guard gets to dress up like orchestra conductors, and maybe get like fake string instruments as props. weeeee.

Sadly I am a senior so this is my last year crying .......... But our show is AMAZING!! Its called HERO! The second movement is soooo beautiful! I LOVE MY MUNFORD BAND!!! xd

im in the lake central marching band. this year our theme is absence (such as absence of sound abscence of color abscence of people etc.) our 5 songs are Gmyways Revenge, Ballad #1 (idk who came up with that name) Drum Break Tag (idk either) Aeriths theme from final fantasy, and the closer from the gmyways revenge piece. LOOK FOR ME I PLAY THE TUBA (IM ONE OF THE FOUR) we have a pretty small small band (about 150) but WERE GONNA DOMINATE!!! see all ya at BOA!!!

I think my band is different XD Everyone fresh-juniors are all forced to be in it if you want to be in concert band, and Seniors have a choice to sit out for the season. But most of the Seniors don't because it qualifies them for a band scholarship. [Yes money]
But doesn't nessary mean we hate it... Only sometimes. =D
