 Nancy Harpenter
"It's not your typical ghost story there is a legend That a confederate solider came home to find his wife in bed with another man and not only any man but a union solider", she told him cautiously,"So what does he do? You say... he kills the man and beheads his wife and he takes and throws her head down the well". Her eyes widened as she gazed at shirou,"Years pass but her ghost will come up from the well and headless screaming as her body runs down the street it happened... One afternoon a few boys where playing near the well and they told the woman to come out because they weren't scared of her.. one boy in particular wasn't scared to stay and wait for her body to come out and run down the lane and with that he waited and right when dusk hit you could see her white gown and a headless body racing down the street!", Nancy paused taking in a deep breathe,"That wasn't it though...", she said quietly,"Just when the boy thought he done wrong he raced home and went on with the rest of his day laying to bed that night..", she blinked giving herself slight chills,"But when he woke in the middle of the night there she stood with body floating over him and her hands holding her beheaded head.. then the screams! and finally darkness!", she concluded,"They never seen the boy again".

Shirou listened to her tail and finds his own mind wondering as she spoke,why did this tail sound so familiar and once she was done he looked over at her."I am sorry Nancy but I heard that one before but it still gives me chills I mean do you believe in ghosts Nancy."He asks looking over at her his face full of wonder."I for one do I mean magic was once thought of as never being real and look at us now."He says with a smile.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy sighed as she shook her head,"Darn.. I was hoping you wouldn't remember..", she frowned her dad told it to them when they were little and she cried the whole night afraid to go to bed and shirou was pretty shooken up to... She smiled,"Ya I do...", she told him,"Since magic is real why isn't anything else real? It seems funny that this is a campfire tradition but I guess thats just how people like to do frighten others in the dark", she told him sighing,"I guess I'm being silly", she laughed,"I mean... even though ghost are real its not like they are murderous right?", she said eating another smore.

Shirou smiles."I don't see ghosts and avtively wanted to hurt people,I see them more like lost and just trying to talk to us or just to let us know that they are there ."He says as he eats another smore."I would love to get a chance to talk to one an old one to learn what it was like back in there time."He says with a grin.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy shook her head slowly,"I was told you shouldn't bother the dead", she told him as she noticed they had been out there for awhile and the fire was starting to die down,"Shirou you think you can rekindle that? and we clean before bed?", she asked as she began to eat the last of the smores going over to the trash tin in the back of the house and throwing away the wrapping paper, she then said,"Or will your mom be okay with us leaving dishes out here?", she asked blinking slowly,"I'm not sure if they are still up...", she told him looking back at the house most of the lights were off but a light dimingness in the living room..

"I was told that to but think of the stories they could tell if we could talk to them."He says before Nancy points out the fire is going down and he finds some more logs and rekindles it and then looks over at her as she comes back."I told mom that we would clean up in the morning once we wake up so we can head to bed if you want."He says as he pokes the fire with a stick to let air into the bottome of it to give it more life.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy smiled at shirou,"Sure.. sounds great..", she told him as she entered the tent she seen shirou had tossed his sleeping bag in sighing she began to fix it up seeing as there was little space they would be basically nose to nose all night,"Oh...", she whispered to herself as she lay on top of her sleeping back resting her head down she lay on her back starring at the ceiling of the tent feeling herself somewhat nervous to be this close to Shirou....,'We are just going to bed right....', the thought to herself as she watched his silhouette outside coming towards her,'Why this fluttering in my hear though?'.

Shirou soon got back to the ten and noticed that Nancy had fixed his sleeping bag and he laughs."I could have gotten that but thank you."He says as he warms his way into the tent and layed on his bag as well,it was going to be warm so he wouldn't need to get into it."Its nice to just relax like this."He says as he move to his back and looks up at the sealing with her,there was a warm breeze coming in form the fire but it wasn't bad it felt good,it was dark so she couldn't see how red he was form being this close to her.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy blinked slowly as he tried to talk to her,"Mhmm...", she said quietly shyly almost as if she could just reach out and hold his arm it would make the situation less awkward but she was even to scared to do that,'Sleep sleep!!', she screamed internally maybe if she dozed off she would be able to make it through the night without feeling odd about it... she really did love shirou but she was scared of all the... dating stuff that would be involved with it she suppose since she never dated anyone in high school and middle school was a complete joke..

Shirou looked over at Nancy and rolled onto his side to face her,he was nervous but he wanted to hold her after what happened to day and they both just did tell each other that they loved one another. He let out a slow breath and reached out and put an arm around her and pulled her over to him,he wasn't really tired but with her near he was comfy and it just felt right.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy stiffened when he turned to face her she felt rather terrified and her body turned to face him as well even though they couldn't see one anothers faces in the darkness she was sure that... Her body froze when his arm came around to pull her towards him and she felt herself rather unable to breathe again but within a moment she let out a soft sight and snuggled closer... something did feel right about this she wasn't sure if it was the warm comforting feeling you get when you are young that someone will protect you no matter what or if it was the fact that they loved one another and even though today was a confession they needed this in their lives.. It wasn't long before her body became heavy with sleep and she was drifted off sleeping soundly with him holding her.

Shirou could feel Nancy stiffen slightly when he held her but he noticed it faded quickly and soon enough he could hear her breathing slowly as she fell asleep and he smiles softly and kisses the top of her head."Good night beautiful."He whispers as he slowly drifts off to sleep him self a smile on his face as he holds her to him

Nancy Harpenter Nancy found herself waking up it was still dark but she heard a noise outside of the tent,"Huh..", she said softly her eyes slowly blinking as she heard a growling noise.. and against the shadow of the tent was a massive cat,"Sh...Sh...Shirou...", she whispered her breathe catching in her throat as she felt she was going to die,"Shi...rou...", she said then she seen the cat come closer to the entrance and the growling noise came again and she about died from fear as she clutched and shook him violently,"pl..ea...se...", she begged seeing his eyes open.."Its.. gonna kill us..", she began to cry as she burst into a high pitch scream as a tom cat pounced onto their feet with another one on top of it it seemed to toms where getting into a fight and they were caught up in the middle of it. .

Shriou was getting shaken by Nancy when his eyes opened to the sound of cats getting into a fight at there feet and he looks down at them before kicking them away for scratching his foot."Ouch not quite eating us but damn that hurt."He says as he sits up and fixes the tent so the door was zipped up but enough breeze was still coming through and he looks over at Nancy as he pulls out a small flash light and turns it on so he can see her."Are you ok."He asks as he noticed she was sweating a little and he reopened the door of the tent so she could cool off."Do you need a drink of water or something?"He asks as he puts a hand on her shoulder.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy found herself slowly letting deep breathes to calm her nerves,"No.. I... I...", she said blinking as she looked at shirou rather terrified,"I thought it was a mountain lion", she told him wiping the sweat from her brow,"Shirou can we just sneak up to your room I'm to scared to sleep in here now...", she told him pouting,"I know... I'm a big frady cat myself but.. that cracked my nerve with those ghost stories earlier..", she confessed. Rubbing her head as she had one hand clutching his shirt for security she probably wouldn't get any sleep like this and would just give up and go home....
