__ Zhi was a little annoyed that Masato couldn't even be bothered to assure her that the Uzukage wouldn't get upset about their absence. Then again, she was pretty sure she already knew the answer to that. There had to be some way to make up for it and hopefully also butter the Kage up a bit to make sure that clearing Taylor's name could go without a hitch. Zhi pretty much paced around where the Uzukage's office was supposed to be the whole time they were waiting. She couldn't hold still normally, let alone waiting what was apparently hours for someone to show up when they were apparently busy over at the hospital still the whole time. Masato suddenly left because he was all hot and bothered about being kept waiting. BECAUSE HE HAD SO MUCH MORE REASON THAN ZHI DID TO BE MAD ABOUT STAYING HERE WAITING FOR THE SAKE OF THEIR DEAR FRIEND IN NEED. Zhi meandered over to Taylor while he was busy trying to recognize Shinsei and offered him a smile.
She patted him and the shoulder and said, "Don't you worry one bit! I have a plan... but first we should go this way." Zhi didn't even think twice about the difference in size between her and Shinsei as she effortlessly lifted his unconscious body off the desk. She'd guide Taylor out of the ruins of the old building then set Shinsei down as gently as possible on the ground near them. "Yosha!" Zhi energetically sprung back upright and bounced around to face the wreckage in a single hop. "Ready to see something super duper neat, bestest buddy of mine!?" She rubbed her hands together eagerly and got started whether Taylor was ready or not. Her hands shifted together into a seal that was unique to the Shadow Clone technique, "Tajuu, Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!!" Zhi raised her voice emphatically as a sea of smoke overtook the entire post-battle site in the blink of an eye. When the smoke cleared there was literally one-thousand Shadow Clones of her standing all around. "Alright!! EVERYONE!!!!!! LET'S CLEAN ALL THIS UP LICKETY SPLIT WITH SOME PEP IN OUR STEP!" All the clones cheered in unison and scurried to work. They didn't actually need much help with communication or organizing themselves to tasks since they had the Enlightening Brand to share their senses. A thousand super peppy workers, despite their stature, would have little problem clearing the mess, collecting everything important around and under the rubble, and putting the essentials aside for the next phase of the operation. Honestly, it was almost like watching a cartoon with all the smoke, dust and slightly klutzy footwork flying through that first part of the job in a matter of tens of minutes.
With resounding success all that was left to get rid of the old and replace it with something new. The real Zhi had stood back with Taylor and Shinsei the whole time to plan out what the new administrative complex would look like as well as the floor plans and whatnot. All of Zhi's clones scattered from the worksite to wait for the final phase of this big plan of hers. "Don't blink~!" Zhi raised her left hand in such a gesture that she was intent on snapping her fingers. FWAP! The sound of her middle finger slipping away from her thumb and crashing against the meat of her palm heralded the little miracle she was bringing about. A massive white-walled barrier structure formed in a few breaths and enveloped everything in front of her, Taylor and Shinsei. An intensely bright light shone from within the structure and then it all vanished at once. In the wake of her dust release there was nothing left behind at all. At that moment there was just a perfectly level ground, like a blank canvas waiting for the next eager artist to have a go at itself!
Zhi gasped and moved the hand she'd snapped with to now act like a visor as she looked over the area. "Wowweeeeee....! It sure worked, huh Taylor? Heheh!" Honestly, it was the first time she'd really gotten to exercise her new powers to such an extent. At least this wasn't some crazy battle situation where lives were at stake. Nope! There hadn't been anyone else hanging around before her clones were put to work, so everyone was safe and so were all those pesky important documents that belong to the Uzukage and all the other workers around here. "Drrrrrrrrrrumm roll puuhleeaasssee!? Badah datah datah dataaaaaahhhhh!!!!!" Zhi bounced up, throwing both of her hands to the sky and then landed in a crouching posture with both palms now set on the ground in front of her. The ground quivered and groaned, and then it shook and stirred. Finally, the perfectly level ground unleashed a massive flurry of wood this way and that, up and down, left and right, to and fro, back and forth, around and about, but of course anywhere and everywhere in between too!!! Funny enough, one of the clones had actually given her the schematics to the previous building so she just recreated that with her Mokuton powers. The new Uzukage administrative building was actually just like the last but without a spec of dirt or dust- kinda like a new car as if those were a thing in this universe. The ultra super deluxe fantastical powers of Zhi Zenshin could surely be seen in action from miles around since this place was more or less a cornerstone in the village. Now it was time for all of Zhi's clones get all the important documents as well as any salvageable furniture back into the building. Oh, and crystal-release was used to make all the windows so there wouldn't be any crazy accidents with baseballs or whatever- perfectly safe! Further alterations to the interior were obviously going to be left to the Uzukage's discretion. Also, the exterior was wonderfully decorated with a creative variety of trees and other flora; Zhi was pretty proud of her knowledge in botany and the mastery of flower arranging she'd attained by reaching the Shadow rank as an Oinin of Uzushiogakure's VOID. One shouldn't be putting even little skills like those to waste if it was for the sake of earning Chie's favor. "So..." Zhi stood up again and danced on her heels to face Taylor once more, "... whadya think? Pretty awesome, right!?" Even she was impressed that all this was only a fraction of her full abilities.

It had only been approximately four...maybe five hours since he had left the pile office of Chie Saegahara. As Masato approached the building that stood in it's place...he was slightly....shocked? A perfectly unscathed structure had now replaced the pile. Masato spotted Zhi and Taylor as the blue haired girl danced about. " Jeeze." He said, waving his hand as he approached casually. " Way too much energy for one little girl, ya know." He grumbled. " The Uzukage is still moping around the hospital with that boy. Hopefully she's back soon though." Masato leaned against the side of the structure and folded his arms, waiting for Chie, still.

A vortex operative appeared beside Masato and Zhi. He stood adjacent to Taylor and saw the unconscious body of Shinsei. He sighed as the masked faced looked over at the two Uzushiogakure ninja. "You have both been given an assignment. You are both to traverse to Arashigakure and return the Uzushiogakure ninja Ferrah or Lilah, whichever identity she defines herself by. In addition, you are both to find and return the neutrally aligned Rinka and bring her to Uzushiogakure also. You are both instructed to return the two ninja under any circumstances. Shinsei and Taylor are both expected to remain within the village."

Taylor sensed Zhi's frustrations. It was hard for him to know what to do. He didn't want to say the wrong thing and make her more aggravated. He sulked a little to himself about not knowing how to assist his best friend. That was when she molded all of the shadow clones. Taylor was awe struck by the incredible ability Zhi seemed to have with her clones. Her power was way beyond the scope of what she could do as children. Back in the day it took Horus and Zhi their combined effort to break through the Ice Queen's castle and save... His mind was drawing a blank as to who was actually there. That was frustrating, but he would adapt eventually to not remembering.
He suddenly found himself pulled along, however, by one of Zhi's clones. Taylor was escorted by the girl's impostors as she started to mold chakra. Taylor knew that his memory had holes within it, but he knew what her powers were supposed to be; sensory and speed. The chakra she was molded was way beyond the scope of what he knew. All of the sudden, a bright light overtook the area. Taylor shielded his eyes in respond. When he opened them, his blue eyes became as wide as platters when he saw the building restored. "Zhi.... This is incredible!" He said in awe and wonder. His smile was childish in its sincerity. "Your power is way beyond what we could do as children Zhi. You must have been working your butt off." He said with a laugh. The laughter ended, however, when the Vortex agent arrived.
Apparently Zhi and Masato were sent off to the other nation of Arashi. Taylor was instructed to remain. A sharp pain resonated within him. He was afraid to leave Zhi's side. What if he lost his memories again and Zhi wasn't there to help him? What if this Uzukage had him arrested for a crime he didn't commit. He didn't commit the crimes, right? There was so much doubt going through his mind. He spaced out his vision until it restored itself upon Zhi's beautiful sight. The sheer image of her caused him to take a deep breath. He couldn't afford to lose himself to his own anxiety. He had to be strong for Zhi, just as Zhi has been strong for him for so long. A smile crossed his lips as he looked at his friend. "Alright then! I'll stay here then and see if I can remember anyone else. Don't forget about me and hurry back!" He said with a soft gest. He knew that she would not forget about him, although he was afraid of the opposite becoming true.

She was a little bummed that she couldn't keep Taylor company with this mission, but it seemed pretty urgent given the parameters. A little more context as to why a under any circumstance clause was needed. She set her hands on her hips and posed confidently, "Go to Arashigakure, find Ferrah or Lilah and Rinka, and bring them back! But... make sure you take Shinsei here to the hospital 'cause he doesn't look so good." She knew she outranked this operative, so he was definitely expected to handle the task. Turning to Taylor she'd offer him a reassuring smile, changed her posture to give him as big a hug as the little her could, and replied, "Don't worry, Taylor, I'll come right back as fast as I can. You can hang out where, just stay in the village for now." Zhi quickly scribbled something on a paper and passed it his way. It was her home address with a key in the folded note. She'd add while pulling away from the hug and leaving behind a dormant Enlightening Brand on his back so they could communicate from long distances, "Try doing stuff that you can remember doing and that might help? When I get back we can go smell my flowers or something fun like that!" Zhi returned her attention to Masato, nodded to him while stepping away from Taylor, then formed a ram hand seal to instantly change her attire to her VORTEX garbs. As the smoke cleared she positioned the mask on her face and took off toward the gates.

The man seemed to have his reservations about the body of Shinsei, but Masato paid it no mind. He would receive the mission eagerly. He thought back on what the mysterious voice said. ' Time to get the rust knocked off.' he thought, smirking confidently. He turned to Zhi as she changed her garb. He would nod, doing the same. The poof of smoke revealed plain black garmets, almost identical to what he was wearing now. His oni mask was nestled upon his crown just above his brow. He would leave in tow of Zhi.

Taylor reciprocated the hug Zhi provided. Her warmth secured him with a sense of confidence. She was going to come back. He just had to wait it out. With her and Masato gone, Taylor left the office and went into the village. He was off to find something to do.

Zahara and an entourage of two clones arrived to the kage's office as the two clones were transformed as simple civilians yet still had his physical look right down to the hair and eyes. They deviated from the actual Zahara as he approached the main desk of the secretary with a hail of the hand. "Howdy." He said with a smile as he leaned onto the desk, the shadow clones standing off in the foyer, one leaning against the wall and other sitting down with arms crossed.
"I was wondering if the lady was in, Kya from the temple has told me to seek her out and mention that I was to be a serpent caller. Whichever that means." A coy smirk played on his lips as he spoke casually to the secretary. "If not, could you direct me to where I might find the lady Kage? Zahara Kevali, Genin by the way for any record keeping."
Chie was stunned at the restoration her office experienced. Someone was getting a healthy bonus for their contribution in restoring the kage's office. Chie was going to have to find out who that was at another time, however. As she was in her office finally having a chance to sort through some paperwork, a familiar voice penetrated her doors. Chie then appeared in the now opened doorway between her office and the secretary's desk. Her eyes showed significant confusion at Zehara and his two person passe asking for information.
"I'm guessing you served your time already. Kya sure seems to be slipping in her old age." She said, albeit with a hint of caution lingering in her voice. Even though she was sure her former mentor never left the temple of the gods, she still wasn't sure if anything she said or did was reported directly to her. Nonetheless, Zehara was released, and he had an inquiry. "Tell your boy band to wait here, and then come into my office when you are ready to discuss the topic of the snake sage." She said as she went back through her doorway and closed the door. Chie sat back down on her desk and waited for Zehara to approach. Ideally she would keep a murderer with no remorse for his crimes in jail for a little bit longer. But, far be it from her to tell the warden how long a proper sentence is. Plus, she was enticed to know why, out of the myriad sources of power that was available to the young boy, that he was hunting down snake sage?

As the lady Kage would say it for the two clones to wait, he waved left his hand then and with a snap of his fingers, one of his two clones flickered out in the foyer to directly outside. Turning away from the desk with a twirl on the heel and a flourish with the body to make his jacket billow a second as he bowed briefly. "No time my lady but rather I've been put through an ordeal worse than such sentences." He said to confirm Chie's suspicions as he followed along, his face turning slightly grim from his smile then. "I've committed myself to the Burning Path of my own making, in service would be redemption."
Into the office he came with another short bow, both of respect and courtesy with his usual eccentric twist of flourishing one arm off to the side. "I've not properly said so, but I've been in deep regret of my actions these past few years." Zahara said as he rose from the bow, his face set in stone now and the carefree demeanor was gone as he approached a bit more. "I'd not be standing now if that woman deemed me unfit to show myself here or anywhere again." To one knee, he again bowed his head there. "I am truly sorry my lady Kage, my sole purpose is to walk my path and serve those who need it most. If I stray from your word, do what you must."
His left arm curled into a tight fist as he bit back a bit more emotion than he intended to show, in the back of his mind he wasn't expecting to do much else other than inquire of what Kya meant. But now, he lost himself a bit as he kept his head inclined to the kage so his hair hid his eyes as he felt the sting of salt. "I ain't cryin', you're just seeing a genjutsu." He said as he rose, a joke as he knew Chie would see through it as Zahara nevered trained in illusions. Eyes shut for a moment as he shook his head with a wipe of the sleeve.

A smile played on his lips again from ear to ear at the mention of training had been mentioned at the end. He was glad suffice to say that forgiveness was so readily there, but he felt he hadn't redeemed himself quite yet. "Forgive you may, but I have not forgiven myself but I've already did plenty of upkeep to my physical prowess." He would say by then demonstrating a wave of his hand as chakra poured from him to create three bunshin behind him without seals. "Manipulating chakra became second nature, it is experience in the field I require first." He stood up and rolled his neck and cracked his knuckles. "But it is your order, to which I will oblige and return soon. But before I leave, I request your permission to attain access to Jonin level techniques. I do fully believe I can manipulate the chakra needed for such abilities." Zahara was confident in himself when he said so, smile unwavering.
"Also. This is unrelated but your Korabo training years ago." He began with a deep inhale. "It saved my life a few times, I've been able to combine my gentle fist techniques with my arm." Zahara gestured to his bandaged arm which he flexed the fist. "The stuff I can do with it is unreal..."
Chie cautiously listened to Zehara's claim about not forgiving himself. She wasn't sure what his goal was. In her line of experience, if someone hasn't forgiven themselves, then they're not looking for forgiveness, but punishment instead. Chie had no time to punish those who were already defeated. When the man asked to learn some techniques she waved him on. "Permission granted." She said quickly so that she could catch the rest of what he went on to say. Boy did this guy have a lot to say. She felt even more cautious about the level of camaraderie he was trying to force. "I'm glad it has helped." She said with an implied tone of distance. She wanted to rekindle some bond which they shared back in Konoha, but that was over five years ago now. She couldn't just jump back into who she was when they first met.

He gave a short curt nod, it was all of what he needed to do now to advance his current repertoire of ninjutsu. "Very well. I will return later in time, and inquire on details of the happenings then." With a salute, he faded off into embers with his shunshin as he departed elsewhere and out in the foyer his clone did as well. //Exit-a-mundo
Saiko walked along the path, feeling completely refreshed from his nap that he had taken. The man could have shunshined here but, he decided it was best to just walk for once. Smell the roses as it were. However, soon enough his walk ended as he came to the door for the Uzukage's building. Having opened the door, he quickly found himself at the Uzukage's door. The man smiled at the receptionist, letting her know he was here to see the Uzukage when she had the time. Of course he did what he always had, nothing had changed. So once he had checked in, he walked over to the seats and sat down, waiting for permission to enter.
