"Alright Van, it's go time." the bug came after him and bit him. But Clyde was having none of that. None of that at all! He kicked the thing off him and then shot it several times. It twitched a little, but it was defiantly dead. HP: 35/40 Damage: 0 Centipede: 5 hp

This was not where he was supposed to be, and yet here he was. Leslie had landed in the sand without any balance and without any grace, and the ground roiling beneath his feet did not bode well.
This was supposed to be safe-- well, safer-- but Leslie closed his eyes and felt tiny legs crawling all over his body. He stood, slowly, and without thinking, Aleria was in his hands, cold and familiar and foreign all at once.
"I hate this," he hissed, to no one, to everyone. There were six around him; even counting the ones in the corner of his vision.
Leslie was well accustomed to checking. Had been for years.

"HI! RO!!! DID YOU SEE WHAT I JUST DID?????!" She tried to do a fancy pose while repeating the attack to less effect, but a Quality Look. It's a shame no one was free to take pictures. But maybe not, as the effect was quickly ruined by another exploding bug.

The step away did the trick. One arrow glanced off the centipede that was writhing around Cami's feet and she snarled with the sheer triumph that spread through her veins. She'd never really hit anything outside of that dream world before and was not sure that it could have actually happened, that she could fight, and win.
Now it was the time to prove herself.

Spinning about on his small 'hill' Roland swung Sylvia like a bat again, her blade missed the bug as it lunged at him, but the long handled of the scythe smacked the bug splattering it mid leap all over himself with a disgusted yelp.

He swung too hard, and too slow, catching only the end of his foe. Aleria was not a piece of him, not truly.

The centipede shuddered, and then exploded in a burst of caustic venom.
