%.....% there was a soft derisive snort and he started moving. First he went into the middle of the street but then after some thought moved after Andy again hiding as he carried the others.

Carn fluttered back and forth a little but he separated from the demon and headed directly back to the house he had stayed at with Hal. Landing he slammed on the door, the collar still on preventing him from using his powers. "Open up!"

The strong creature followed distractedly, "eyeing" their surroundings with an obvious frown on his lips.

A couple of hikers walked into their path and gasped, pausing as if they had no idea what to do or say or if it was even a joke. One laughed but they look nervous as they tried to pass without saying much,

The strong creature eyed the hikers who were gripping their phones tightly as they passed. For a moment it looked like it might head back but finally turned and continued to follow her until they reached the pixie. He gave a nope and moved out of view before putting his burden down.

Carn raised his hand to knock again only to fee fingers sliding over his mouth. He started to scream, muffled by the handover his mouth then struggle. The smile may have been an assurance any before but with the mask on and the faint trail of blood along Andy's mouth he was far from reassured.

There was the sound of running feet and the door open as Cam peeked out. "Hello? .... who are you?" the meta elf child stared at them without a int of recognition as he held the door partially shut.

Cam yelped and tried to push back "H-hal!" he yelled back alarmed as the plants outside the door weakly tried to grab hold on Carn and Andy. "Help!" he tried to pull her back and stopped. "You can't do t-that!" Cam said in confusion unsure what to do. "Hal!!"

Carn jerk back and tried ti back off away from her "You're crazy! they made you crazy. Hal had nothing to do with that!" he looked between Cam then Andy but already backing away from the door of the house as if he was about to flee but has no idea where.

There was no answer to Cam's yell other than for the little girl who peeked down the stairs and narrowed her eyes then looked alarmed as Andy went past.

Hal was in his office, as Andy approached there was a conversation about transferring and changing plans.

"I don't see why you have a problem. It's simple" a familiar women's voice emitted from the other side of the door, even if partially muffled. "Cameron was gone ahead of time. We move the time schedule up."

"Right but those -things- "

"They will be found and placed back in time. Don't worry. I will have my side ready...now you mentioned something interesting on the phone?"

"..." there was a sigh. "Yea... EE "

"Is it Zaku?"

"No..but "

"Get a number then kill it. Andy shouldn't have been this much trouble but she was, I don't want to risk something like this again unless it's worth while. "

"I'll text Lita who will be leading her.......Done. Now... Was Andy worth while? "

"Outside the trouble she cause, definitely if they don't eat her first."

"So you think she's alive instead of bait?"

"Considering what Haven did to her... there is a high chance. Don't worry she won't remember you next time you meet" the voice turned slightly chipper as if she was enjoying his discomfort.

"Tex- " she blinked and turned when the door snapped open. "Who let the dogs out" she snapped the command out quickly, seeing the tattle-tell helmet.

Inside was Hal, the women from the mansion and four guards. Three look to be meta or true race while the fourth was human.

There was a surge of fear in the women's gaze when it dawned on her that the command had not work. By the time she realized it, it was to late moving out of the way. She was slammed forcefully to the ground, her breath completely cut of by sheer strength. Fear took over as the apathetic gaze was gone replace by someone fighting for her life. Instead of grasping at Andy's hands she reached out and started punching at her throat with what air she still had left.

Hal cursed and moved around the desk, his tail curling in close as the cigarette smoke in the house came rushing into the room, swirling and crawling up the mask attempting to get into Andy's lungs, burning as it touched her.

"ATTACK!!! WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!!!!" He shouted as the four guards in the room stood stunned before moving into action. They unholstered their guns, one had a taser and were aiming at Andy.

The women hit her back multiple times with adrenaline fueled punches. It last only a few moments before she started to flag her next punch getting caught in Andy's mouth. There was desperation in her gaze as she opened her mouth to try and breath as she struggled to take her first from her mouth, to far gone to even feel the pain, just working on instinct. It only last a second before she fell unconscious, her hand going limp.

Hal cursed softly and grabbed at an ashtray, throwing it at Andy as he continued the assault of smoke.

The guards broke through their hesitation even as they were squinting to aim through the smoke.

The first one just fired in their general direction.

The second one uses telekinesis to try and pull Andy toward them.

The third raised an arm that look more like it was covered in armor made from a shell.

The fourth fired the taser at her.

Hal was squinting to, trying to see Andy through the smoke of his own making when a familiar yell sounded through the house. "IN HERE! WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!"

Carn was long gone, neither going in to help or waiting outside.
Cam was with the other girl as they stared at the office, trying to get the courage to go help when Cordelia appeared. They looked at her then Lita and a look of relief cross their face. "In there. Someone with a mask and a guy..the guy left but the girl with the mask started attacking Hal" he said hurrying toward but was terrified.

"Now isn't the time to be asking questions! She's crazy! They did something to her and she was sent back to us!. " He yelled terrified at Cord as he put his hands around the arm Andy grabbed him with, trying to burn her as he started to shift to Feral form.

The telekinetic guard looked alarmed and offed as the unconscious body of the women hit him making him stagger back as bit.

The second guard aimed and tried to fire on Andy's again as the third guard moved to the first to try and get the women out of there. The human guard moved out the door.

The Feral's head was already partially turning into a Vole as Andy grabbed his neck. Automatically it tried to bite down at her while continuing to burn her, or at least that has been the idea before he let out a scream of agony that was a cross between a scream and a squeak. His body spasm in her grasp, smoke coming from where she was grasping even a faint flash of fire trying to catch on the fur.

The guards took the distraction to leave with their unconscious mistress as fast as they could.

Cam stared as the squeak scream started and the guards rushed out the room. "......" He bit his lip afraid until Kate passed him, looking determined the younger meta headed toward the door of Hal's office with a blob of liquid floating barely above her hand.

%...Claudia? we'll handle it.% the annoyed gravelly voice held a hint of satisfaction this time as he took off, stalking them.

Hal was limp within their grasp with his head held down breathing heavily. The fur and skin at his neck was blacken and smoked while blood dropped from his shoulder where Andy's teeth oddly bit deeply. He purposely held still even if all instincts told him to run, run and hide. He survived this long not listening to those instincts.

His tongue ran behind the back of his teeth, catching the hint of blood he scored on Andy and listened to Cordelia trying to reason with the he- the creature. She wasn't Andy any more she was one of those ...a newling to be sure but still one of -those-.

He weighed his options, ears twitching slightly as smaller footsteps entered the office.

"Hal!" Kate screamed as she threw a basic bleach agent toward the masked woman in the room. "Go Away!"

Cam peeked over her shoulder and clenched his teeth as the plants he had tried to cultivate in Hal's office started to grow rapidly and move to entangle her as well. Both children looked terrified by determined as they tried to help him, Cordelia was someone who was helping...but the mask woman....
