"I am not stringing you a bracelet while the world burns."

The demon had grown slightly surlier following Amory's insistence that he get off his a** and stop sulking, but at least he was saving his glares for her. They sat with a couple of other juniors, and while they were meant to be engaging in arts and crafts in an effort to calm down, Thian was mostly staring into the middle distance, sipping his juice box and wondering if it might be frowned upon to put his head down and take a nap.



"I'll make you one," she replied as sweetly as possible. Though it came out in her regular monotone, Amory was smirking nonetheless. She chose a handful of purple and pink beads and began to feed them down the thin piece of elastic she'd been given, handing it off to a teacher to fasten together once she was done. Tapping Thian's arm once the bracelet was handed back, she clasped it around his offered wrist, giving its underside a brush of her claws as she relinquished his hand.

Things were definitely calming down, and that was good, officially for a certain Dryad's frayed nerves. Kunibert still had a few beads left in his pockets, including some glow-in-the-dark ones. He strung them on string and put the newly made bracelets in his pocket. He wanted to give one of them to Joephi, the Naiad child he'd met earlier. For a Naiad, she hadn't been so bad...

Heck yeah she'd like to tag along! Joephi bobbed on the balls of her feet, her tail curling side to side in her enthusiasm. "Oh, I'd really like that!" She liked this plan. She'd get some water in her system so it wouldn't feel quite as though she were turning into a piece of jerky and she could help out! Also, it was kind of funny or appropriate or something for a Naiad to be helping give out water, no? The idea tickled her. Smiling at the dryad's introduction, Joephi was mid-inhale to give herself a proper introduction when her name rang out across the crowd back from where her caretaker had been going through their phone tree. The freshling deflated with a huffed exhale. "Heh. That's me. Joephi. Heh...I, uh, I'll-I'll be right back," She chuckled softly, a mite embarrassed by the literal shout out. Waving to Kunibert as she disappeared back into the crowd, the naiad quickly made her way back to her caretaker to assure her guardian that she wasn't getting in trouble, that she was still indeed trying to get water, and that they really didn't have to worry. Expressing her interest in helping out, and in checking out the games and crafting stations set up, her caretaker relented and gave her permission to go check things out, with the condition that she come back over once every twenty minutes to let them know she was still alive or borrow a cell phone to ping a text their way with the very specific words 'This is Joephi, and I'm okay.' Maybe followed by a where she was and who she was with, or what she was doing.

Whew! With that behind her, the young Daydream weaved her way back through the slightly more calmed crowd to try to find Kunibert. By the Nine, she said she wanted to help and she was going to! Or just tag along and see if she could provide company. It took her a few minutes, but she finally spied Kunibert. Catching up with him, she heaved a sigh to emote her mild exasperation and grinned. "Sorry about that. What shall we do fir- Oh, you look like you've been busy," she indicated with a nod toward the bracelets. "Change of plan?"

Niamh bit her lip, listening to the two of them talk to her, hearing their words, and she finally sipped the water Yaruka offered her. "I... Guess that's true... But what about our familiars? I..." Her eyes closed, tight, suddenly, thinking of all of her babies back in her dorm room. She hadn't had a chance to try to go get them before this meltdown occurred, and she was hustled in here. "Oh gods, my Familiars... What if these... these kids EAT familiars?" Her eyes flew back open, and her expression was horrified as this suddenly occurred to her. Everything else that had been discussed, she forgot. She didn't even notice the activity going on, not yet.

Kunibert smiled at the sight of what he could pretty accurately call his favorite Naiad (read: the only Naiad he liked in any way) and offered her a bracelet. "Here," he said. "I made zis for you." He pointed to the hybrid twins he had been talking to before. "Joephi, may I please introduce you to Bambina und her brozzer, whose name I sink is Zino? Zat may be a nickname, zo," he added. He turned to the twins. "Bambina, Zino--if I may call you zat--zis is Joephi. She's offered to help people out in zis...crisis." He looked over to Joephi, bringing up in his mind his last conversation with her. "Did you get some vasser? Und how is your family?"

Zino smiled at Kunibert, he was kind to his sister and for that Zino would always be grateful. He quickly rummaged through his backpack and finished the remaining stitches on the plushes he was working on for fun. "Here, this is for being so nice to my sister" he beamed with pride as he handed over the plush. He smiled at the newly introduced Naiad, "Hi Joephi, I'm Raggazino, but you can call me Zino."

He was trying to keep the mood light, despite the situation. He handed his sister her plush and then looked up at Kunibert. "What are we supposed to do now?" he questioned, trying to hide his worry.

With the duo settling down with him, the mutants familiars all peeked up from what they were doing to stare at the new company. Some let their eyes linger longer than others, while most just went back to what they were doing.

With introductions being exchanged, Gaius was a bit surprised by himself. Oh right, he always forgot to ask that... "Gaius." he replied back soon enough. One of these days he'd get basic mannerisms down... but that wouldn't be today.

Simply listening to the two provide their own take on the situation, his puny wings lightly wavered behind him in thought, dark eyes sliding up to the ceiling to aid in the process. All plausible and understandable. But his thoughts returned to some of the information given in that announcement. "Sometimes good intentions can go terribly wrong." he casually inserted into the conversation, easy smile returning to his face. "I can't say I blame this rebellion from those pulled into such experiments, though. Can only imagine what kinda crap they had to go through." he sighed silently as the last of his words left his lips, head canting thoughtfully.

Maybe he could talk to some of them.... maybe there could be a more beneficial way to go about this. But revenge was a emotion that was so tremendously strong for most... rendering them incapable of seeing anything else. But who could blame them?

Dry out? Oh, right. Nixie's were used to the water, or rather were from the water? Social Sciences was not her strongest suit. Lawven had more questions pop up, but decided to remain quiet... especially after how her last one had brought a bad air to the other two.

"Plushies?" This didn't seem like plushies. No, this looked like random scraps of fabric, stuffing, thread, need -- Oh no. They expected them to sew toys!? What was this? Child labor that's what! The indignity, thinking that she would be willing to sew. Her tail fwipped angrily in the air as her ears pinned back.

Roshan had no issue with the task and while it was very offensive, Lawven decided to swallow her disapproval and sit down. Roshan was also immensely faster than herself, picking up the directions with relative ease. By the time she realized they were on their second, she had just stitched the tail onto the side of the head.

"Er.. Uhm... Roshan? How does this work? Ow!" Another pricked finger. Waving it dramatically in the air, she hissed at the unfinished doll.
