Tomlin, Guardian Cat – At the tower doors, with Super Sailor Chibi Oort and Eternal Sailor Chaldene

Tomlin was peripherally aware that they’d lost their lead on the murky doppelgangers, all three now back in dangerous proximity to himself and his friends. It wasn’t any comfort that each creature seemed determined to strike at the person it was copying. He would have preferred a larger target, with more space to really sink his claws in. The cat-shaped monster was as quick at avoiding his strikes as any normal feline, and now he had a solid tree at his back, and no space to turn to climb it. His fur bristled up as he tensed. Tomlin hated to be trapped.

Beyond his opponent, he could see Chaldene’s double disintegrate under a creative attack. It seemed they could be killed, though even in death it wasn’t looking like a youma.

Oort’s warning snapped him back from his curiosity just in time to catch the black cat preparing to pounce again. Tomlin backed up in the only direction left to him, towards the stairs, but that wasn’t a practical retreat to someone his size. The thing was stalking him like a sticky panther, and he didn’t dare look away for a moment.

“Dammit,” he said softly, and planted his feet, hoping that the energy coming up through the ground would stay with him as the almost-invisible copper star on his forehead began to glow orange-gold to bright white, sending out a beam that the monster couldn’t dodge.

When the light faded, Tomlin staggered against the stair, only pride keeping him drunkenly upright as the energy beam’s strain took its toll. He forced tired eyes to stay open.

“Dammit!” he said again.

Like a terminator, the black cat was still standing. It oozed, its shape less certain than before, but it wasn’t out yet.

Erytheia of Cosmos - Staring at Ida

Erytheia saw the amber lights through his closed eyes dimly at first, but then the glow filled the whole cocoon and shone like fresh honey. It was like being held by a gentle embrace, but one warm and revitalizing.

The energy flowing through the pod and into his body was unlike anything he had ever experienced or thought possible.

His wounds were healing as if by magic.

"I think I am."

His eyes still looked a bit dazed, but their golden hue had returned. He seemed surprised at his own words like he was just waking up from a long slumber and wasn't yet fully awake. Erytheia looked to Ida as if seeing her for the first time.

"How... What... Where?" His face flushed as he tried to steady his thoughts. "Who...?"

Erytheia shook his head and smiled looking at the woman peacefully. None of his questions mattered in the end. There was nothing to worry about now.

"Thanks."

Erytheia allowed himself to drift back to Earth still with the vision of her face in his mind.

Hyperborea, Transcendent Knight of the Cosmos- 3rd Floor

Hyperborea wiped the blood from her nose and nodded at the senshi. "Oui, we'll make these monsters regret their trespassing. Though in exchange next time we meet you need to let me take you to Hyperborea." She said with a grin remembering her promise from so many months ago.

She watched the page of Cosmos disappear happy in the knowledge that he would be safe back on Earth, though she would have to try to contact him at some point just to make sure he was fine. She was very protective of her fellow cosmos knight, almost as protective as she was of her team.

"Let's burn this darkness away with starlight." She said as she began to make her way towards the stairs where she had sensed Hver's aura.
