*Kouta shrugged and laughed softly* I didn't know I was this huggable actually. *He turned a little red and looked out the window beside him* So what were you up to before you came home today? *Kouta took a breath, trying to change the subject. He never liked to talk about himself. He didn't really think that there was much to talk about*

oh! ::slides to the edge of the bed so that her feet are hanging off and swings them lightly:: i was taking a new friend home, his name is Torin and i think you'd really like him, though his mother is absoulutely horrible! i didn't know that people like her really exsisted outside of horror stories! ::shudders:: i just hope she doesn't find Kotoba or else the poor thing might end up suffering worse than Torin... but since she's staying very well hidden i don't think that'll be a problem... Torin's going to tutor me, though. he already said he would, and i'm going to hold him to his promise ::nods a bit::

*Kouta nodded his head as he listened* Sounds like a fun day. 3nodding *He smiled and thought about it. He wasn't sure if he liked the sound of this Torin, but made it a note to not judge people too quickly* This Torin guy seems pretty nice. Who is Kotoba?

she's a hedgehog ::cheerfully:: actually, she's how Torin and i met. she was in the middle of the road and about to be run over when both he and i raced out to get her... i slipped as i grabbed her and he tripped over me, but we managed to get out of the street without any serious damage... well, beside my knees and he was so upset about that! as though he'd been the one to make me try and help Kotoba! he had some bandaids and patched them up though ::pulls up her pant legs to show him her bandaged knees:: see? he's really a very nice person

Uh huh...ooookay. *Kouta smiled slightly and looked back out the window, wondering if he should dig into this subject anymore* So is Kotoba like your new pet or something? *He wondered if that might be it. It would be strange but could work he guessed* ...what's a hedgehog? *A little sheltered from the knowledgable world would be the phrase right now*

::blinks then:: oooh! sorry! ::setting the teddybear down, she races out of the room then comes back in about ten minutes later with a book in her hands. sitting next to him, she flips through it until she finds the picture she wants:: this is a hedgehog... Kotoba looks kinda like this only bluer... and she's kind of a joint... friend of Torin's and mine. we agreed that he needed her more than i did

You guys NEED a hedgehog? *Kouta looked at the picture of the spikey pig looking thing and felt a sweat drop form on his forehead* Okay, and why exactly would he need one more that you? Or why would you need one in the first place? *He sat back and laughed nervously* Does it have special powers or something? blaugh

::stares at him as well then smiles and giggles:: yeah... right... ::he thought she was joking... HE had been joking.... which meant... he didn't believe her... she really did hate not bursting out and telling him the most exciting thing that's ever happen to her, but she knew better, she knew that it wouldn't be a good idea to tell anyone but who was involved... it was always the case...:: i've ecome quite the actress ::teasingly::
