Nirvana, Page of Pluto (Phact's Group - Protecting Havasu and the Startseeds)

He hid it well, but as Phact came toward them and offered her words to Havasu, a smile grew inside him. He nodded to her, letting her do as they had appointed her to do. She was their leader, and she would lead.

As the army of youma descended on them, he cursed. This was not going to end well for most of them, he knew this, but in the end they needed to fight, and the goal was to make to the portal alive.

He moved along with the group, he keeping close ties to Havasu. The fact the man had pissed off the dove certainly made things interesting, but that was for after they made it out of here.

He watched as some of his group was stolen away, he growling and readying his stance. Each new foot they made toward the portal was another moment of risk for them all.

It was a moment later that he had to ready himself, a youma flying in his direction. He moved from formation for just a moment, leaping and hurling his pocketwatch about the creature's neck. He drew the golden chain tight and quickly severed the head, sending it to dust. "Damn b*****d!"

((Anyone feel free to come rough my Page up abit))

------------------------------

Kastra, Senshi of Meditation (Taking up the rear of the group)

As Cetus told her exactly what he needed, she was relieved. To be a second set of eyes was something she could do, though set might as well have been being used loosely in this case.

She steadied her legs as she continued to move with the group, she moving backward which always set her on edge, but it was best way to secure the rear. "I will conserve where I can. Though..." She gasped as she watched Nirvana taken up into the sky by a youma. She biting her lips as he fell, landing on his feet. "..though I am not certain they will let us conserve much."

And that much was a fact. She was more than certain that they would not want them to get away with the stash that they currently guarded. They would eventually see them and then they would have to fight.

Lt. Prehnite: Chillin' with the Villains. Eyes out for Whip-Happy Transcendents.

Laurelites command was clarion, welcome above the din and clash of everything below. Hearing her, and seeing the Youma truly swarm, as though commanded by some invisible force. It was fascinating. If he hadn't considered wanting one before, he did now. Maybe not the kind that would rip his head off, but still...

Glancing back to Ochre and returning his grin easily, glad he'd gotten a smile from the other. He'd been starting to worry. "Aye aye captain! Shouldn't be to hard to spot in all this open chaos..." He chuckled, following Ochre down the craggy expanse, eyes scanning the mass for the General in question. Only for her to find them first.

It was almost a little disorienting, getting popped from one location to another, twice in a row now. Though the General seemed to manage it effortlessly, impressively. At first he wanted to admire the way she seemed to worry over Ochre; with what appeared to be gentle concern and kind offerings. It almost made Prehnite jealous, but the spikes on her fists made him think better of it. The woman likely punched people to death...it was not something to fawn and coo over...

It was something to note and obey, especially since he valued the idea of surviving this encounter, and dishing out a little payback in the interim. Though throughout the entire mess, even with the Senshi flooding from the various places they'd infiltrated, he had yet see the one in particular he'd been looking for. Who's eyes he might have liked taking a stab at..."Lieutenant Prehnite, at your disposal."

Scholomance, Squire of Saturn

"I stopped giving a s**t about cultural convention a long time ago," he added as an aside. They now drew within range of the battle itself, where Scholomance watched a brilliant bull tear through the ranks of the enemy. Idly he wondered if it comprised one of their own summons, or some kind of magic instituted by the White Moon Court. It hardly mattered; the bull troubled a great number of their enemy, which bought them some time to organize themselves.

Nearby, it looked like a princess, a knight, and a gathering of others decided on a strategy amongst themselves. Scholomance was not privy to this information, but he heeded the general call of the Mars knight he recognized from the debut of the ring upgrade. What was his name again? He knew Hvergelmir - he looked bashful -- but his name is what I need right now.

Scholomance winced as he misstepped, and reached out to steady himself on Centisima's shoulder. The man's persistence looked like a boon after all. "s**t..." He hissed out. "I don't suppose you have any magic left after that scorpion youma? If you do, we're going to need it. If you don't, you might end up some good distraction fodder while people make a push for that portal. That Mars knight right there," he paused to point to Kairatos. "He's making a call for magics. I've got something he'll probably want, so listen close, because I won't have time to repeat myself." He continued to lean on Centisima's shoulder for a moment before departing on his own to confront the Bull.

"Kairatos," he remembered at last. "You wanted cover magic. I can cast on someone and kind of... Separate them from anyone else. No one can touch them while under my spell. I can cast on multiple people, but I have to be protected and it does have a tether. The closer we can get before I cast, the better.

"However," he broached with a pointed glance. "I can't cast for long. My priority is that, there." He gestured to the Code grasped in Kairatos' hands. "Anything else is extra credit." That included any of the White Moon - especially since assisting their kind through the portal constituted a breech of tentative contract with the Negaverse. He wagered, unfortunately, that Laurelite found little reason to honor it in her current state of cold fury. Again and again she sliced through the crowd, and he knew then that if his body stood between her and total annihilation of the White Moon, he would be no more.

For as much of a threat as Laurelite had been before, now something was different. Her blade was arcing through the air already when Gevaudan's weapon came sailing at her. She barely even had time to look at it before the flat side of her scythe crashed into it, like a bat to a ball.

She spun, smoothly, using the same flat side of her scythe to send some poor Knight flying through the air and into a crowd of vicious, flailing youma.

Even in the midst of a battle like this, Laurelite did not seem phased. It seemed more like some ghost was inhabiting the body of the usually pleasant General-Queen.

Her eyes went to Valhalla as he called to her. "Go ahead and try," she challenged. She did not seem surprised to see Ganymede there with the Knight. She did not mince words with Ganymede; of course she remembered. She kept her eyes locked on the Princess' when she swung her blade in another arc around her.

Her blade found more victims instantly.

It was a large weapon, clearly capable of doing extreme damage, and she wielded it easily despite her size. It didn't matter how many bodies were in her way, she sliced through all of them with what looked like ease.

It may have just been practiced indifference.

Kariatos' summon looked as though it would soon fade, and though it had made a dent in the line, already more youma were swarming the area. It was nearly impossible to get from the bottom of the hill to the portal with the numbers.

Laurelite seemed barely even inconvenienced by Elpis' attack; she did not even need to teleport, but instead of risking a hit, Laurelite teleported away from her position only to reappear just behind the senshi. Despite Elpis attacking her, Laurelite's target seemed to be a stronger foe standing next to her—luckily for the Elpis, Laurelite only kicked her harshly in the back.

The Eternal Senshi she'd been aiming for got a blade to the gut.

Ochre, Corrupted Super Senshi

The smile he wore found no time to fade before Xenotime appeared in front of them. She caught them both neatly, and Ochre recognized the instantaneous shift in scenery, pausing only a moment to reorient. They now stood in the thick of it, with a lieutenant nearby and a senshi that he recognized from his fight near the tea store. "I know her," he murmured under his breath. He did not, however, try to stop the lieutenant or Xenotime from killing her.

When Xenotime touched his cheek, she stole his gaze from the senshi. "Huh? Yeah, I'm fine. Just uh, tired. Really tired." He managed a grin, and accepted the energy orb gratefully. As soon as he crunched down on the orb, he felt the immediate whorling rush of power reinvigorate him. Muscles tensed with new vigor, eyes refocused and new breath respired with the welcome bounty. He managed a sigh then, and reassessed himself to determine how many times he could attack. They needed to act if they wanted to annihilate everyone in the area, and that meant taking stock of nearby magics.

However, Xenotime's question caught him before he could act. "Oh, uh, that's... I don't know his name actually. He was with me when we were fighting in the castle. They killed Apatite; we have to stop them." Ochre tried to manage conviction in his words, but mostly he found weariness. He wore himself down by panicking over not panicking. "They might try for Laurelite next. What do you think we should do?

"And who do you know around here who has useful magic? I need someone to copy." Ochre spared a quick look around, only to hear Prehnite introduce himself. Finally, he had a name for a face. Maybe if the pair survived this, they could acquaint themselves properly.

Avalon Squire, interdiction specialist

Babylon was a great distraction, and Avalon used him for exactly that the next time Witchite swung her weird sword-staff-blade thing. Avalon didn't have to know exactly what it was to know, vaguely, how to move with it. "Not today, ********," she cried, throwing herself onto Witchite. "No one touches him but me."

Lieutenant Bolton

Bolton sighed with relief at the voice of her mentor, and ducked down to pick the Captain up without a word. Once she had the wounded Captain tucked up close and safe, she rose to her full height to scan for something useful to be doing. "Yes, ma'am," Bolton said, her voice muffled through her mask as it ever was. "Where do you need me to go?"

Wow, that was a huge bull and it was on fire. Cool. Centisima steadied Scholomance as they walked, and tried not to be too stunned with the amount of magic on display.

They were approaching the main group now and Centisima felt ripple of anxiety roll through his gut, not just because of the battle and the Negaverse line reaping its way through the field, but they were about to step up and try to make a difference. He was about to give everything, possibly even his life, for some magical whatever and hope that someone stronger could get it through to other side. Or was that actually excitement. Probably both, he decided.

“I-” don’t have any magic he was about to say but on quick inspection, maybe he did. In the time between the battle with the youma and now, it seemed to be recovering, so he ended his sentence with, “-’ll be right behind you.” He gave Scholomance a brief pat on the shoulder before the squire stepped up to the dude who looked like he’d be better off in some Ancient Greek arena (Kairatos).

“Yo,” he greeted everyone else who happened to be nearby and then focused in on the conversation. Good distraction fodder, the words slipped through his mind again and he nearly laughed. Yeah, he’d be the best damn fodder, even all he did was punch a youma in the face before he got torn to pieces.

“I offer myself as tribute. To get that thing over the line.” He said after Scholomance had spoken. “It’s not much but I have enough magic for one attack and I’m pissed off enough to do something stupid.” His gaze darted back to the battle that was getting closer by the second, one hand clenching into a fist.

Myrrha, Basic Senshi (Scents) - sidelined

This planning idea needed more work. Instead of pissing off one of the enemy apparently Myrrha had irritated what she viewed as an officer with a serious "mama bear" complex. (Xenotime) As in, you mess with her cubs and mama's going to be out for your blood. That was how Myrrha viewed her current predicament. She had yet to see if her attack had taken hold of the lieutenant she had targeted (Marcasite). There was something about the way that the woman winked out of existence and then returned moments with more company later that had the scents senshi realizing just who she was dealing with.

It was the sight of a familiar face that had Myrrha straightening her posture. "You," her words were directed at the senshi (Ochre) that felt "wrong" to her when she had encountered him at the tea house. "I remember you."

Although that was all that she could comment on as she realized just a little too late that she might have bitten off more than she could handle on her own. Her group was nowhere in sight.

Tomlin, Guardian Cat

Tomlin was more than a little on the reckless side by nature. Tomlin was confident he could take down a lieutenant (or two) in a catfight.

Tomlin was painfully aware that the average age of his team right now was somewhere around the lower end of thirteen, and he held his tongue and held his action, worrying that the risks he wouldn’t normally hesitate over were risks he couldn’t allow these young senshi to take. Maybe the agents would listen to them?

On the other hand, “We don’t have time for this…”

If he had to save his magic (and that was unfortunately sensible), then so should they. So he offered the best non-magical distraction he could – darting past the barrier the older senshi had formed and diving full-speed for the midpoint between the two agents, hopefully out of reach of either of them. Best-case scenario, they fell over each other going for him. But even if they only turned their heads, just for a moment to watch him, that would be an opening for the kids to give them a good sweeping.

“Think I’ll pass on your ‘cannot pass’,” he called, to draw further attention.

He didn’t intend to go far, though. There was no way he’d leave the chibis behind. If he made it behind the enemy line, he would merely sit down and give himself a bit of a clean while he waited for his team to join him.

Havasu Falls, Squire of Pluto --- Pissed

Havasu was getting his breath back, and his strength, he couldn't argue with Phact's decision to put him and the seeds in the middle… No matter how much it got on his nerves. Even injured he could fight. The squire consciously tried to ball his right hand into a fist and failed miserably, the pain that shot up his arm a mocking reminder. To make matters worse the page standing next to him, the one who dragged his sorry a** out of the academy when his injury and energy drain made it impossible for him to do so, just told Hav that he liked Phact. He couldn't fault Nirvana from liking her… But it still annoyed him. He kept his annoyance in check however. As long as the page didn't step over the bounds of respect, Hav had no reason to act on his flair of possessiveness.

His annoyance however flared beyond anger to royally pissed when Phact stalked over and basically said that the squire had not only risked his life but everyone else's on a ******** whim. His green eyes went hard and he nodded once, fast and full of suppressed anger. If she wanted to believe he would risk others for his own skin he wouldn't dissuade her. Let her believe whatever the hell she wanted to. Now was not the time to ask scathingly, ‘so I was to let people fall into a bottomless pit?’ Now was not the time to remind her that he wasn't a leader, a babysitter, OR an invalid. He never asked to be put in charge. He never asked to get hurt. He never asked to be a bloody a** knight.

Now was not the time to scream his frustration at the heavens themselves. Now was the time to spill some blood and dust some youmas.

Standing straight, anger boiling away the pain, he stalked into the fray. The seeds had been taken from his charge by Delphi, but that didn't mean he wouldn't do his job and protect both the squire and the cargo she carried. He growled as their group moved towards the youma and then all hell broke loose.

When a small youma came darting in the squire took his frustration out on the poor creature. A few swift kicks to the head with his cowboy boots, his anger fueling his strength had the youma dusting by the time Nirvana's feet touched the ground again.

((Attack him at your own risk. Even injured he has a few moves ^.^’ - Psssst that means jump his a**))

Mlinzi, Guardian Cat --- ready to claw some youma into dust

They were moving, he was part of the rear guard. Mel didn't realize that he had never actually been given a fighting position but he stuck with Kastra anyway. He could protect them all just by himself. His claws dug into the ground in his excitement as their group slowly began their forward push.

“You get the big ones, I’ll get the little ones,” the cat told Cetus before looking over a Kastra, “you slow what neither of us can get to right away.” With a eery yowl the cat jumped into the flood of youma. Tackling the first creature he spotted, his claws making quick work of it.

((Mel is up for some interaction… Who wants some claws in their a**?))

Antares, Senshi of Scorpions --- Annoyed

The young blond was part of no group and she liked it that way. No one to worry about. No one to watch out for. No one to scold her when she bared her own teeth in a grin and quickly dispatched a attacking youma. It would take more than that to take down a street fighter like Antares. Almost absently out of the corner of her eye she saw a few brave, but stupid, souls take on the new General Queen. Antares’ head still throbbed where the last one had tossed her like a rag doll.

That thought actually had her glancing around, looking for the dark haired, bright a** senshi she had entered this hell with. When she spotted Chaldene with a group she relaxed slightly before turning back to dusting more youma.

((Open for interactions))

((all my guys are open for interactions. Reminder tho I'm on my phone. I will do my best to be prompt and keep up with things but I can't make it a promise))

Lieutenant Wolfeite - Along the defense line barring the escape route!

Labyrinthite had told him to attack, but he hadn't needed to. Wolfeite was burning with the need to do something, practically vibrating with the energy that raced through him; the anticipation of it all, the greed, the hunger. He wanted to hear the sound of people breaking.

His fist had landed, sending the senshi staggering. She looked weak. Beneath the kerchief, Wolfeite licked his lips, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction.

There was a frisson of magic. A bright, glowing orb had appeared in front of his vision, and in spite of all of his efforts, Wolfeite found, aggravatingly, his gaze continually drawn to it. He let out a hiss of anger and tore his eyes away long enough to lunge forward, swinging once more, but the attention returned to the orb within seconds, snapping back as though magnetized.

This time, Wolfeite's growl was a lot more feral.

Babylon Knight of Mercury

So, suddenly there was a cat on his shoulder, and that was probably his only saving grace here, because the act of climbing him offset Babylon's balance so much that he just stumbled out of Witchite's line of fire entirely. "What the---" he said, catching a flash of white fur out of the corner of his eye.

Well, okay.

And oh, hey, there was Avalon! He'd been wondering where she'd gone off to. Wasn't sure she could take a general by herself, but - she'd been a general herself once. Maybe she'd have this taken care of.

"I love you!" Babylon called, regaining his balance. He lifted the lantern again, ready to dive back in but not really sure what this cat was doing on his shoulder. "Kick her a**!"

Sailor Etamin, Senshi of Hieroglyphics

Etamin had missed with his magic, and had gotten really clawed up. He had retreated to the sort of cave he had now. But now he had an idea, a dangerous idea, and it just might work. Just then a ginger colored cat zoomed between the two sides, just what he need a cat. He rushed and tried to grab it (Tomlin), and whispered, "I may have a better idea, and I need your help."

Ananke Senshi of Portals... sitting duck

Ananke just stared blankly as she lost track of all the people she had met on this crazy adventure. What exactly was she supposed to do now? Fighting had begun to break out and so far she had managed to stay out of people's radar. Should she make a break for the portal? But she didn't want to abandon anyone...

Well if she had a choice anyway... she chewed the inside of her cheek as she didn't know what she would be able to do for anyone here.

Princess Ganymede

Ganymede was momentarily taken aback by Cyllene's presence.

“Cyllene...”

She did not know how to respond to the Corrupt Senshi. She never did. She was always pained by Cyllene's fate. Ganymede wanted to save her from it, to bring her back from Chaos.

She had the power to do that now.

But, in that moment, she could not feel hope. Laurelite continued to slaughter the forces of Order left and right. Stubbornly, Ganymede restrained the feeling of horror that swept through her. It had been a long time since she'd witnessed so much carnage. It never got any easier. The blood of her allies stained her once pristine white dress, her silvery wings, her bare feet and her long train saturated from the blood that pooled on the ground.

She was horrified and angry, and she felt helpless. She was torn between sticking with Babylon's plan or using her crystal without the extra boost Babylon expected a group of them to be able to give her. A part of her wanted to wait. She at least wanted to try it, even if she was unsure if they could emulate the attack that saved the Surrounding. Yet a stronger part of her was consumed by an overwhelming need to stop the bloodbath this attempt at escape had already turned into, and the only way she knew to cripple all of Chaos's forces at once was to use her crystal.

She hesitated still. That power would hurt more than the forces of Chaos. She gave a quick glance to Gevaudan, who she assumed would be effected by it. Considering the blood that had already been shed this night, countless others might be as well.

She put herself between Laurelite and her allies. Cyllene included. Perhaps the Corrupt Senshi was safe from the General Queen, but Ganymede felt protective nonetheless. As she met her end, Apatite had not distinguished between the forces of Order and her own people. If Laurelite gave into that same crazed anger, Ganymede did not want Cyllene to become a victim.

Laurelite!” Ganymede called to the General Queen once an Eternal Senshi was felled by her scythe. Ganymede kept her emotions in check as much as she was able, but the scent of blood made her sick. She looked pale and drawn, covered in a cold sweat. This night had already taken a massive toll on her.

“Stop this and face me instead,” she tried, though Laurelite had already ignored her once.

She had to gain Laurelite's attention, so she said, “I'm the one who killed Apatite.”

She knew Laurelite must have felt it even if no one told her. The sudden disappearance of a General Queen's aura would not go unnoticed, and she did not believe that the lack of it could be explained away as Apatite fleeing the battle. Neither of these women would flee. There was too much at stake.

Ganymede wasn't completely sure who it was that'd actually killed Apatite. There'd been so many of them attacking the General Queen at once, including herself. But she thought the attack that seemed to cause the finishing blow to the neck came from a basic Senshi. She couldn't let Laurelite know that. A basic Senshi wouldn't stand a chance against a vengeful General Queen.

Even an Eternal fell easily to Laurelite's blade.

“Your agents are more than capable of handling the rest of us, but none of them can take me, and you know that,” she continued. It was something of a bluff. Considering the higher level agents had such dangerous weapons, Ganymede was almost certain one of them could kill her if they caught her unawares, but she was relying on the level of her power to put conviction behind her words.

“I'm not the only royal here,” she said. “Castor is too. Together we could end you as easily as we ended Apatite, and your forces would be crushed.”

Another bluff. She had no idea where Castor was, or if he had any intention of showing his face in this battle. She couldn't depend on him. He hadn't helped them against Apatite, though he likely would have faired better than Ganymede had herself. She had to wonder if he even cared how many of their allies died here.

Fortunately, Laurelite wouldn't know of the distaste that lay between she and Castor.

She had to protect as many of these people as she could. Already many members of her allies had brought themselves too close to danger. Valhalla, Gevaudan, Harmonia, the newly arrived Elpis, the countless others Laurelite killed without a second thought.

And Cyllene. Corrupt though she may be, Ganymede would forever include her. Chaos or no, Cyllene was a Jovian. More than that, Ganymede cared for her survival. If anything happened to her, Ganymede would feel as responsible as she did for her corruption.

For now, Ganymede eyed Harmonia the longest, though she never let her attention stray from Laurelite. Harmonia said she could give her a boost. It likely wouldn't be as strong as what Babylon intended, but it might be enough to give them the time they needed to break through the line of agents and youma to make a run for the portal.

“Wait until the right moment, when Laurelite's attention is on me, then do it,” she told the Super Senshi.
