106Jax pushed onwards, although it was very slowly, behind the other pokemon. Her body shielded the smaller pokemon in her small party, at least a little bit, from the wind. She didn't want them flying off the cliff do their almost definite demise.

(( 107)) A sudden gust of wind caught Caliban's wide tail, dragging him dangerously close to the edge. The Leafeon pinned all his fluttering green appendages tight to his body and dragged himself in close to the solid mountainside. For a moment he rested, panting.

It seemed like they were making progress, slowly but steadily. Hopefully they would soon reach more solid ground, and everyone could rest a bit. Or at least, be able to progress more easily.

He was grateful to both the Mudkip and Elecktrike for assisting him across the water. Once on dry land again, his water glazed eyes looked to the pair with awe, and appreciation, a stuttered little "t-t-thank you." peeping out of him, cheeks rosey warm with embarrassment.
With the next task before them, daunting and impossible in the little Caterpie's mind, his steps were weary, and hesitant with each progression made. He flinched and recoiled from the burst of wind. Tiny feet could barely grip the stone beneath him! It was a great deal of effort just to focus on getting one foot placed ahead of the others. Peeking up with a squinted eye from the Gengar and Elecktrike's courteous guarding, a shimmer of admiration glossed over those big eyes of his, a weak thank you uttered as another petite foot lifted to try and plant forward.
