 Nix Gallen Nix sat down on a bench that was surprisingly still standing, taking the chance to write down some notes. She had done the same as she did in Inaba, used her compass to get the direction in which the limb was arcing in. Though after finishing, she couldn't quite get up to head to the terminal just yet. She felt exhausted and sat there to try and regain her strength. Something sounded strange about the pitch...but Hatsu believed in the words that Ronaldo was saying. He believed in helping those in need, in sharing with those less fortunate and less powerful than yourself, and he believed in protecting the weak however you could. If something was off in Ronaldo's voice, perhaps it was the combative way he spoke of his ideal...the inevitability of a fight in which one side would have to eliminate another. Did they truly have to fight against JPs to do what they set out to do? Couldn't they keep protecting people as they had until now? Why fight at all? ...What was it that he was missing from this equation?

Nix Gallen Nix rest didn't last long as another spore landed in the area near her. Adrenaline fueled her actions as she hurried to defeat it before the toxins could be released. "Hard Luck" Hatsu Harima, the Heartbreak Kid"Aa, I'll stand my ground...I'll help you."It was a heavy weight, the words that Ronaldo had left him with...and Hatsu found a quiet spot to settle against a small shelter in the park where tools and toys for the upkeep of the area were stored and leaned against the wall. He considered his options...fight with JPs, fight with Ronaldo...was there a third option where he could try not to fight either? But he truly believed in most of the things that Ronaldo was saying, so if it came down to it...he'd have to help him, right? They were friends...fighting side-by-side.
Whatever this world became, they would have to fight and make it happen together. That is what he wanted to believe. But as loathe as he was to admit it, Hatsu had been burned before...but Ronaldo wasn't like that. He wouldn't hurt other people if he didn't have to...right? Nix Gallen When one spore was defeated, another took its place. Just how many of these was Alioth firing down at innocent people? Was it as much as the Megrez buds? Though there was a difference. The Buds were able to move and attack. These spores seemed stationary and just released deadly toxin. That didn't make them any less dangerous though. Poison was justt as deadly as being physically attacked. So the silverette wasted no time in eliminating this spore as well. Quote: ANother spore down! 7 tokens! "Hard Luck" Hatsu Harima, the Heartbreak Kid"Aa, I'll stand my ground...I'll help you."It was hard to decide what to do in the days to come and what to do about what Ronaldo had offered, but when the first scream came from the outskirts of the park, Hatsu didn't need to think about what to do. Instinctively he rushed into action and found a woman under attack by a rogue Basilisk that he had instantly met with the knuckles on his fist and knocked back a distance away. "Aa...the shelter, go to it," he motioned behind him with his head, tilting his neck to the back and side without taking attention away from the demon attacking. This part he would never have to think twice about. This part...he had a duty to see through and win. No matter what else the future held.
It opened its eye and it blinked once, nearly blinding him...then attacked in the blind spot only to meet the business end of Po the Ogre's club, knocking it into a wall. Swords diced the Basilisk a moment later, Mahakala getting the job done without his master falling victim. Another victory...but inside Hatsu knew the real battle was yet to begin. There, his mind again drifted to a different problem...the last time when he had danced, his moves hadn't managed to summon for the God of Dance to destroy the Septentrione in the sky. If the rumor was true, did that mean they needed to dance more? Did they need to do a different dance? He wondered...
...And then he remembered another dance, perhaps one that would be more to the liking of a God of Destruction like Shiva?
"Aa...how did it go again?" he considered as he set up his body almost like he was boxing...before extending a hand out before him, loosening up just a little, "You put the left hand in...you put the left hand...out?" Shiva didn't come out, but what did happen was another demon attacked, this time inside of the shelter which was enough to garner a fairly shocked and immediately desperate response from the university student that saw the demon get put down in a swift and brutal fashion. No way...no way he could allow them to get inside?! But where had it come in? It wasn't a large thing, but it had fought fairly fiercely before being put down...
His search immediately began for the breach in the makeshift defenses they had thrown up around the park to make sure that if the demons WERE going to get in they had to work for it. Nix Gallen After barely escaping the toxins of one spore, another came down beside her. Nix had to quickly cut it down or her and several others would die. Nix Gallen The spores never seemed to end. Another had came down and started releasing it's toxins immediately. Nix hurried to get the others to flee for their lives, which was easy to do since most had already ran off after the other spore appeared.
