A chicken was not as helpful as a barrel, but it was the first thing Arrakis grabbed. Every little bit, right? At least a chicken would be easier to get there, right? Fingers clenched around the feet and body of the bird, Arrakis whirled around to rush back to the edge.

Ironically, it turned out to be harder to get the chicken to the dropoff than it had been to get the barrel. A monster came at Arrakis and shredded both clothing and skin. Hissing in pain, Arrakis dropped the chicken to fend off the monster. He was going to have to go back for another, but it could be worse. At least he hadn't lost a barrel. Once he was disentangled from combat, Arrakis beat a hasty path back for something else to grab.

The Chicken just wanted to hide away on the field and lay eggs, there was nothing wrong with that, other than that Damien wanted to see if the creatures were Egg intolerant. They didn't seem scared at the idea of an egg barrage, with one getting close enough to shave its tailfeathers. That was enough to get the cuckoo mad, raging mad.
It was a horrible idea.

Damien had no reason to hold onto the quivering cuckoo, flinging the bird as far as his limbs would let him at the bride. Aerodynamics of the feathered friend was not take into consideration as it overshot the structure and landed in a pile of its friends.
And they all got angry together and began to chase shadows around the bridge. while it was pretty spectacular, Sir Percival looked on in irritation and ushered the order of getting back to the task at hand.

Okay, this was a barrel, but smaller and with spirits in it. Arrakis supposed that would do. He wasn't a drinker in the least, but he did ruminate that it was a shame to be pushing spirits over the edge. Well, if they made it through this then there would be plenty of time for spirits and wine and whatever else afterwards, right? This one wasn't large enough to roll as well, so he wrapped both arms around it and broke for the edge as quickly as he could.

(3 potential drop damage) Round 2: 2: You almost drop the item due to a monster swooping at you, but at the last minute save it! Damien had a chicken and it made Noemi sigh wistfully at him. She wished she had a chicken. Cute and fluffy and less heavy then hay bales.
"Of course! I am a knight as well! I must to something to help!" She blinked, distracted enough that a monster tried to swoop in on her bale. Luckily she side stepped and avoided....if tripping a little.
