One last try. Gabby was back to try and prove that he could take the pain of electricity running through his highly conductive body, and he rolled up his sleeves before grabbing the controller. His hand immediately jolted back, and he hissed as his first try was lost. His right hand, the one that had tried to dissipate on its own last time, now clenched in determination. It flexed, tensed, and then grabbed on, claws digging in in an attempt to keep himself there even when instinct tried to pull him away.
When he did give up, he thought he'd made it, but - failure. Again.
Did the booth owner look especially pity-filled at the moment? Gabby would never say no to a pity prize, and took it as if he'd won.
I COULDN'T TAKE IT! I Won: Minipet because I've played FOURTY INFINITE TIMES THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS FSKLJFLKJSFKJHSF Minis Username: Alania

As she watched from a safe distance, hands covering the majority of her face to ensure that she was effectively hidden, Shine caught another glimpse of the way the little metal machine interacted with Gabby. It was almost identical to the first time she'd watched him play - and after waiting for him to step away, her attempt was almost identical to her first too, with the exception of a slight increase in the strange sensation overall.
Why did this hurt him so much? It kind of tickled, and felt itchy and slightly uncomfortable at times, but nothing that might cause him to react like that. Did it hurt dragons specifically? Or ice, maybe?
Whatever the reason, it seemed pretty clear that she was going to have to stick close for his safety too. Just in case.

At Nova's remark on a new place to get in trouble in, Ignatius couldn't help his laughter.
The poor incubi had no idea.
"Alright!" He waved as the incubus retreated, an amused smile on his face. "Have fun at the carnival! Try to hit all the booths you can before they close down~" Ignatius was going to try to leave his booth open until the last minute himself.
Surprisingly enough, the ice dragon was back again. Well, he was determined, Ignatius would certainly give him that much. Determination was an element of being tough, but unfortunately, it just seemed like this ice dragon ghost was not tough enough. Sure, he managed to win again, but it was barely, and every time he played the poor boil just looked completely tuckered out.
Honestly? He felt kinda bad for the boil. "Uh, congratulations!" He tore off a ticket and fished out one of his puffball minipets, handing them both off. "For trying so many times, you get a minipet! Hooray!"
Of course, his friend the undead came over and won instantly, even going so far to the levels of winning the minipet. Ignatius whooped at Shine, grabbing a ticket and a minipet for her as well -- though not for the same reasons as the prior candidate. "Congratulations! You win this ticket and this minipet here. Take good care of him!"

A new both and this one seem to hold an endurance test. Shadow grabs the bars in each hand and braces herself.
It quickly becomes clear that she is more sensitive in one hand as she is forced to let almost immediately. No price, but she growls to herself that she won't loose next time.

Mayaa was starting to find the shocking tingly feeling... kind of fun. Maybe she zapped off a few too many brain cells from playing this thing.
Sadly, she didn't do as well this time, and ended up dropping the bars nearly immediately. Ow. :C

Hollandaise wasn't sure what she was suspecting. She grasped both handles and waited.
zzzap
With a small shriek, she dropped both of them, hands flapping ineffectually. Electricity sang through her palms and up her arms, sending her hair on edge. Hollandaise did not like this booth.

Trisha tried the game really she did. But it was hard for some reason. she just was too impatient.
Instead she stared at Ignatius. "Your mini is sooo adorable. I just can't figure out the game very well. Please."

Nova did manage to make it back around one last time. He must be developing that thing for pain, or maybe he was just to stubborn to give up when given the chance. The cute yellow puffball from this booth slept in a pile with the rest of them, so wanting to win the pet couldn't be used as an excuse. Want to prove he could take Ignatius' electric though, "I will keep a handle on your poles." All well and good when said, but electric and the Incubus... Nova dropped the first rod as soon as the surge of electric started passing through it. "Ow, stars and garters that hurts." The other one joins it right before the end of the game. He'd lost again. "Nova - bad tolerance for electric." He mumbled to himself, then coughed. "I guess I still couldn't take it in the end." He says to Ignatius as he leans closer and shows the elemental his hands, the red marks from the rods and the pain really hadn't subsided completely yet.

Ignatius was convinced that everyone must have just been getting tired with how badly they were doing. It was the last hours of the carnival. Clearly. their energy was diminished.
Though that was no excuse!
Nevertheless, Ignatius felt bad for the poor ghoul who was begging him for a mini. He had seen her try time and time again and continue to be unsuccessful -- she had only won a couple times, but never three -- and gave a nod of sympathy. "It's alright! I think you've suffered enough," Ignatius laughed amiably, going to get another little puffball and handing it off to Trisha. "Congratulations! Take good care of them."
At Nova's hands, Ignatius' eyes widened a bit. He didn't expect his machines to turn anyone's hands red. He must have been very bad with handling the poles, today. "My apologies ... Maybe one of the other booths could help? There is that ice bucket booth..."
He bzzted in memory.

Nova smiled up at the other. "It's okay, it didn't burn. It'll fade away in a few minutes." Ignatius seemed to crackle when he mentioned the ice booth, Nova sort of agreed... while nice looking he couldn't recall the dragon running that having so much as said a word to him all week, he'd even tried giving the guy candy! "My skin just shows everything." His tail curls around the poles and sits them back up. Then pauses. "You know, I'm actually sort of curious if it's just my hands? Using my tail was the only way I eventually won at the gnome game booth."

Waits wanted a little more than that little slip of paper this time. With bony fingers, he clamped onto the little sticks and held on like it didn't even effect it (it was hard to tell, he still looked bored even as the electricity went through his body).
His wings fluttered and a few of the bugs scattered from his layers. But he held on.

Admittedly, the elemental was relieved when the incubus didn't seem to be actually hurt. He thought that he had balanced the electricity properly for someone who was not used to it...
When the incubus mentioned his tail, Ignatius blinked. "Well, we could certainly try it! It wouldn't count as a game win, though, even if you did. Just let me know if you want to!"
The horseman had returned, much to Ignatius' surprise. He hadn't expected one of the horsemen to come back -- the other one had not seemed interested in doing so, after all. But perhaps he was determined to beat the odds? And he did! Of course he did, he was a horseman... Though those bugs seemed to scatter away from him. Was he a famine horseman?
Oh, right. "Here you go!" He handed off a ticket and a minipet. "Congratulations! Take good care of the little puff, he'll become a full grown minipet!"

"Well~" Nova's tail curled back around the poles, looping around them both individually at once, "it couldn't hurt... well it might but only for a bit." Nova nibbled his bottom lip. "Okay, we'll give it a try!" He couldn't help but brace himself, but... "It's indestructible... has to be..." He waved his tail around, one loop had heated up... but the other had felt next to nothing. Seiana_ZI ~chatting, and I actually did roll my highest score

"Thank you so much." Trisha grinned and quickly pulled a ribbon out of a pocket tying it into his hair wither the boil wanted it or not. "You are super sweet. Have fun with the rest of your boothing." Trisha swept up her new mini and took off. Seiana_ZI hello have a ribbon. Trisha appreciates you.

Lou made one final attempt with the shock machine, maybe she was getting better or maybe it was just accidentally on a lower setting, but today she manged to hold on long enough to pass. Her hands smarted, but she knew that would fade. She was really proud of herself for continuing to try.
