Saya looked up blankly at Misty as Misty answered her good guy/bad guy question. "Umm..." She clearly wasn't able to make heads or tails of her reply. "So uh, I guess you're good then I think I mean if you wouldn't hurt a friend and we're friends so I guess that means you wouldn't hurt us so you're good then," she deduced after several moments. She continued munching on her second plate of food as she listened to their conversation. "I do get bored sometimes," she admitted to Queen. "B-but I promise I won't go out unless you say it's okay!" She added quickly.
Queen just rose an eyebrow "not really answerng the question" she muttered before sighing "Well..if your not home then she wont be stayng...its as simple as that" she explained to Misty. "And that is what will get your entire district killed...trust me...sometimes numbers don't mean much" she told her. she would look at Saya "Good...becaue i dont need a repeat of tonight where you come and look for me" she told her before her eyes went to Misty "And if she is ever here and something happens to her, be warned, this demenor is the exact opposite of a hint to what will come" she told her

Misty snickered, Saya was quite sharp for her age, and earned a few pads on her head from Misty. "Of course sweetheart, that means I'm on my friend's side. Regardless if they are good, evil or illegally cute..." Said this before kissing Saya's cheek with a giggle. "...like you. So don't worry. while Queen is not here I'll take care of you."
She would turn her eyes back on Queen as she addressed Misty had not answered her Question, Misty smiled calmly before sitting next to Queen, threatened if anything happened to Saya. Misty snickered, smiling while observing Queen straight into her eyes. While she giggled, there was no signs of her ignoring Queen's warning, neither she seemed affected by it. It only seemed she was just okay with it. And without a warning a hand would wrap around Queen's waist, pulling Queen and Saya along against Misty before trapping them in a big group hug, sneaking another kiss on Queen's cheek before she answered. "I'm on whatever side you're on silly. We're friends right?" As Queen remarked sometimes numbers not being always the best option Misty laughed, it seemed Queen triggered something on her. "Who said we were allies? No no Queen. It is merelyprofessional policy this district is still every man or women for themselves. It's just common courtesy, I don't mess with their businesses, they don't mess with mine. And if someone breaks it. there's not guarantee said person won't do it again. We like our peaceful lifestyle we have. and if a bad weed spoils out pretty garden, well, it has to be taken care off."

After all that, the fight, getting talking to Delycan, getting mixed up with whatever Han had in store, burning bridges along the way, Illo needed a place to rest and collect himself. Besides, if he was supposed to go on as if nothing had happened he would do well to live in an apartment like some average jerk. That brought the monk back to Tao. He teleported in, sticking to the narrative, and landed on the balcony of the apartment adjacent. If his soul wasn't sensed he would probably be heard or smelled or something.
"Hmm..." It was he and Melanie's old place. Curious, Illo warped inside to see if anyone was around.

Strangely neither Queen, Saya or Misty would be able to hear, smell or even sense Illo. The same applied for the monk as he would not be able to see, smell or sense the girls inside. Rather, the monk would bump into someone just as soon as he warped inside. "I do beg you pardon?" Replied someone behind the monk. Clearly he wasn't trilled to have unexpected visitors. "Could you tell me what are you doing here? I don't remember inviting people over." The boy frowned upon the monk, crossing his arms in the process as he expected Illo's explanation. Still, Illo would be able to sense something vaguely familiar about the boy. Sadly, no matter how hard he tried. He would not be able to tie up the loose ends. Not yet at least.

A challenger approaches...
But this was a both expected and not; Illo had fully anticipated there being someone living here, but was very used to the idea of coming home to this place. The young man before him's eyes showed a certain analytic quality. Illo returned the scrutinizing stare with a smile, nervously chuckling and pretending the back of his head had suddenly become very itchy.
"Oh! I'm sorry, sir. You see, I used to live here and..." He explained what he was doing. Through the eyes of a neighborhood cat it looked oddly similar to the ritual posturing before one of their (the cat's) kind cleaned another. Rather than licking boot, though, Illo was controlled as he could be in this situation and was prepared to warp out. However, it shouldn't be noted that simply having his powers on standby caused his forehead to glow a sunrise orange, as it had here. He gave a small bow.

Ryan raised an eyebrow at Illo. Still expecting some explanation. The monk simply counterattacked with a smile and a few scratches on the back of his head. Not really convincing should one were to Ask Ryan. Illo would begin his apology and explain his reasons of being here. "Look pal, I'm sorry you lost someone, but you gotta move on. I certainly did. Why I decided to rent this house once I got informed it was available." Following the whole explanation ritual, Ryan was still a little annoyed that the landlord had not notified people of the new owner. Something he would have to discuss with him next time he showed up. Not only to protect his privacy, but because the people who knew those living previously. They kept coming asking about where the former owners were. "... at any rate, if you ever feel like living on this district you could always talk with the landlord and get yourself an apartment."
Queen looked atSaya "yep and she'll kiss you every day..." she said with abit of sarcasm based on her kissing Saya's cheek. She would soon be pulled into a hug, which Queen would just grown at Saya knew how much Queen was not open to being hugged by anyone, of course Saya's hugs were different, which was strange but seen when queens mother tried to hug or anyone she just pull away quickly. "Please....stop kissing me...its still uncomfortable of a habit of yours" she stated before pulling away from the hug completely "look, just don't be saying anything if someone ticks off someone thats after me and the entire place is destroyed"

"Yes, well..." Illo searched for an answer, an argument to bring against him. Eventually he found something that piqued his interest.
"Forgive me," he began, not worrying so much how annoyed the other might have been, "but why is this not my apartment still?" He held a finger up so that he might continue without being interrupted. "Suppose my partner and I did have this apartment, suppose we both had leased it; why does something like her dying suddenly take my name off said lease? I was gone for about a week. You'll not see me as rude if I wonder why I was evicted so quickly." It was true. There wasn't that much of a demand for space here. Illo could feel the presence of the elephant in the room, could feel this stranger knew it too; the only thing he had to do was point it out until it became real.
"I'm sorry, friend," he said holding his ground, "but I believe this is my house."

Ryan merely raised an eyebrow at Illo given his reasoning. "That's it, I'm calling the landlord." the boy would head inside and pick the phone, dialing the landlords number. One could hear Ryan talking about a tall guy saying this was his home and that he was told the house was available for rent when he got here. Claiming this was unacceptable. Not because of Illos presence but because the landlord had lied to him when it said the apartment was available for rent. Sighing as it seemed there had been an agreement, Ryan hanged shortly after.
A few minutes later, heavy steps would be felt at the distance, it was the landlord followed by what it seemed an elephant which trumped happily at Illo as soon as it caught the monk's scent. "Ah, Boxer san." Exclaimed the landlord. While brief, the two had a spar last year. No powers, no martial arts other than boxing. Always calculating the force to be similar to a certain boxer on its prime. First round was Muhammad Ali for speed and balance, second round was Julio cesar chavez for rough speed, and the third round was all out Tyson style (without bites) aiming at raw power. That was one heck of a day. "I believe this is yours. You guys left her here for quite a time." Ryan seemed confused that the Landlord knew Illo but didn't quite solve his issue at the moment which was being lied to. The landlord noticed this as he sighed turning towards Illo. "So, boxer san, I take it you've come here and that's great. But I'm afraid this apartment had been rented to young mr. Taw here. I would like it if you could respect his privacy and her sister's. I could offer other apartment around the district if you like but that would be as much as I can do for you. You see. This apartment belonged to Miss Eva. whom she shared with her daughters. I take it Melanie had her own apartment and decided to visit here for a season or two. But ultimately Melanie had an apartment outside of this district. And this one belonged to Eva, and Eva alone. I'm terribly sorry for the misunderstanding between the both of you. but there's no need to make a fuzz out of it." This last line was directed at Ryan which merely stared at the landlord as if asking "really?"
Ah, what a fun challenge that was, duking it out with only one form to use instead of the dozens of sets Illo knew. It really was something to see. Definitely didn't turn out like Dempsey and Firpo; more like Holyfield Vs. Tyson, Ali Vs. Frazier, and so on...
"It's good to see you again too, 'Iron-jaw Ethan (hope you don't mind me naming him),' returned the monk smiling and bowing his little Gung Fu bow. Suddenly his was nearly bowled over by the literal elephant in the room. Careful what you wish for!
"It's good to see you too, girl," chuckled Illo petting Ms. Trumpet. He quickly boosted his power up to 5%. "I'll play with you later, okay?" And with that he teleported her out into the courtyard. He turned down the output to where it was with a sigh, turning to Ethan and Ryan. "Thanks for taking care of Ms. Trumpet."
"So... You're Misty's sister." He looked the youth over. Very determined-looking. "I'm sorry we had to meet like this. I won't be much longer." Back to Ethan.
"Belonged." Illo's eyes (lol) narrowed a bit. "Then you mean..." After this and other questions were answered Illo would take his leave, but not before taking the man up on his offer.
"I'd like an apartment here, if that's not too much of a problem. I think Melanie liked the way the came through these windows in the morning." He smiled. "I could finally give you some proper lessons in return," he said confident in the brawler's bond they had. No matter the answer, he would teleport out to play with his old friend.

Finally they were reaching the importan matter in the subject at hand. Seriously why did the landlord had to waste his time with some old boxing tales. "Well now that everything's solved mind taking the discussion out of the apartment? No offense but I don't want the elephant to break anything or that she scares the heck out of my sister if she sees a random elephant out of nowhere"
"Alright mr. Taw, we'll take our leave, just try not to stress yourself too much. I'm sure you want the best for your sister but I'm sure you'll be more useful for her when in good health. Stress will only make you a burden in the long run." With that, Ethan would escort Illo outside where Miss trumpet would be waiting for them at the street. Ms trumpet was smart, Melanie taught her how to open doors. It seems she didn't forgot it. "Very well Boxer san I'll see what I can get you." He would look over his shoulder to see Ryan close the door behind them. "Please don't mind him Boxer San, you see, he just found out her Sister had been kidnapped this whole time by Eva san. Ever since he found her he had been trying to give her a normal life. But since she insisted on coming back here he had no other choice but to rent this apartment. He's only rough on the outside. like a young boxer. he has much to learn. Right now it's only hormones and motions which guide his fists. Looking for culprits rather than solutions."
"Kidnapped?" Illy found this hard to believe. He furrowed his brow, as if he were trying to place himself in the same time as the event. Misty was strong for a normal human, plus she had a weapon form like Melanie. "And you're sure Eva did it? Why? I knew she was suspicious, but..." So much he didn't know. He cursed silently that this wasn't a recitation test; he would have down so much better if his knowledge of religious texts were demanded of him. But...
"Yes, I see... He reminds of many I've met." Ms. Trumpet, uh, trumpeted. "We have a rule or sorts at the monastery: never throw a punch until you know how to be punched."
"... That said. I've taken more than my share in this life. I'd like to have some answers; you seem to know a lot. Please, tell me what has happened since I've been away." (You can tell me in PM)

"Well Boxer san, you know we are not exactly under a faction's side. All we know on this district is that every neighbor is a client and must be respected. Clients will do as they please as long as they do not interfere with other clients. Quarrel's within the district are completely prohibited." He explained. "So, whether or not Eva was a kind soul or a professional cold blooded kidnapper means nothing to us as long as she pays rent and does not molest the neighbors. Plus, all of the girls were not harmed here. They actually lived as siblings under the same roof. Just as I care if you are the iron phoenix or simply a brawler who lives in peace. A client is a client. Therefore I would like to ask of you. If you meet people here whom you have differences or rivalries. to take that outside the district and to not invade their homes should they live here or visit someone who lives here. " he explained as he walked by the street heading for some of the residences which had available apartments.
As they walked along the monk started to a get a clearer picture of what this whole thing was about. They lived as sisters. That was ridiculous. Illo knew better than that; he could swear they referred to Eva as their mother--or was he just imagining that. For whatever reason the whole story seemed to take place in two worlds: the one he knew in which he had come to know Melanie, meet her mom, get bad vibes, and this one where the only thing that mattered was rent, and that the suspicions were actually confirmed. Hands resting behind his back, the monk continued on.
"I see... So it's all over then?" Whatever the case, he said musing mostly to himself, he didn't want to have to fight anymore. Truthfully, Illo was thinking about opening a school of his own lately. There he would teach the value of confidence and the sacred arts he'd learned at the monastery--the same ones he was told never to show those from the outside--so that the others might have a fighting chance against things like this.
"These are nice," he commented somewhat blankly as they came to the apartments for rent.
