Donovan: Hold on a second monk! Don't you think for one second I honestly care who's stronger than me! Melani could be the strongest person and I wouldn't mind. You see the only thing I really desire is to help people! Saving lives...protecting those that mean the most to me...someday I wish to have a bunch of friends I love and cherish. Even that one special person that stands out among the rest...but I in no way want to gain power just for the sake of having it. Melani probably is stronger...but if I can do all those things I said then I don't need to be.

Illo: Yes, of course. It is admirable that you wish to protect the ones you love, though. I tell you now, however, that this too is a vanity. Do you not see yourself as exceptional for being "the one who must protect them?" Do you see yourself as afraid of losing your loved ones? I hear that is the path of the Kishin, as well as the hero.

Donovan: Thats funny because you see I'm just some kid that can read emotions. Read hearts. Thats the only extent of me that I truly see in myself. My life isn't anything special...I'll never become a kishin. Power won't corrupt a pure heart like mine. And you can say hero if thats what your looking for...all I want is to be happy and those things bring me happiness... Power is just something thats required unfortunately... True vanity is when you excessively pride yourself on your own deeds. I've got nothing to show...

Inferno:Well yes, i wish that our clan was also like us. and lived long.
Blaze: I wish inferno didn't have his rage problem.
Inferno: I like that she can calm me down with her cooldown seal before i destroy something.
Blaze: I like that he can take a beating.
Inferno: I don't like that she's shy.
Blaze: I don't like that he's short tempered.

Blaze: Unfourtantly they died because of violence.
