Boss 3 Prompt: He blinked as they came upon another boss, and he could have sworn he something curious. So he blinked again, and this time got a clearer picture.
Of him as a successful someone. Of him with a family. Of him with a smattering of pelts that, at the moment, couldn't be a dream of his. And he narrowed his eyes and squashed the feelings of worthlessness into the dust, replacing it with rage as he stepped forward to fight.

Boss 4 Prompt: It was that feeling of hopelessness again. It was a familiar feeling from his past, but at the given time he wasn't sure why he was feeling it. Kiin was starting to feel a little more than drained, a little more than exhausted. It was harder to carry his weapons now, harder to focus, harder to fight..
But he tried to keep his eyes on his team members. He'd never been one for being on a team, but right now it seemed that reminding himself that he was, quite literally, not alone at the moment helped keep the hopelessness at bay.

Reine had felt this way before; weak, tired, helpless. Her body, made of lead, could barely move as she stood, frozen in fear before the boss; slowly, ever so slowly, her head bowed down, as if in acceptance of the fate that stood so sinisterly in front of her.
And yet- if she raised her eyes just the slightest bit, she could see something struggling against the hopelessness, fighting free of its puppet-strings.. it looked like.. herself.
