OOC My character's username: Wykid My character's level: 41 Character's HP: 40 Job Class: Caterpillar Current party: Current Guild: Location: Small IC description of character: Thin with dark skin. Wykid wears the black and blue Caterpillar armor. Her mouth is covered by a mask hiding the bottom half of her face and the sleeves of her shirt are larger than normal, slightly translucent at the wrists giving a small peek at her bone arms. Its hard to tell her disposition at the time unless you are watching her body language. But even that can be a bit tricky. But for the most part she's fairly good natured. Character journal: here

Well, an area known for exploding sounded a bit promising, didn't it? After meeting the confined Grief and possibly a few other doings, OuO's first place of exploration was a rather dangerous one. Might as well go a bit big, right?
She frolicked on through to the place of doom.

With little to no ere to caution, OuO nearly threw her little body into the next room. It was a little dark, it was hard to see where she was going but the most thing she noticed was how weird it smelled.
And if she tried to look back, she heard a weird voice. She made it through the first room alright though.

The next room she entered just as the last, with no worry at all. Explosions happened and she had been caught in them before and while those had been very unpleasent, this was still a game. Though, not like OuO wouldn't just go in willy nilly anyways. She was an undead! She could take it!
And she barely did, managing to get through by narrow margins.

It was the last room she needed to travel through before she could exit and go on with more adventures throughout the castle. And OuO just skipped her way past.

This part of the castle was -- something else. It was dark. Dirty. For someone who'd never lived anywhere but the lush environs of his family home, the smell of the place, the somewhat dripping walls and sense of something lurking in one of the corners, were something novel. Unpleasant. They made SpringTooth wrinkle his nose and turn in place, thinking instead of that room he'd been locked into, with its pleasant windows and beautiful fireplace -- Something happened. A hiss, coming from one wall off the room, and then the other, all surrounding him. He flicked a look left, a look right, and froze for a long, uncertain moment. The room was exploding. That was the sound. The hissing warning of an oncoming burst, impending danger, and SpringTooth's eyes went wide with surprise as he recognized the source. He went from standing still to full-out run within the beat of an eye, and even still, it was barely enough to get him out of there before the bomb went off and, with a thunderous sound, the room fell to pieces. His heart hammering, he struggled back up to his feet and started off through the second room, as well. That hissing was still clearly in his ears. Once more, yet again, here he was. Shadowstep really was not certain how he kept ending up in this hallway. That much didn't matter right now, though. He just knew he needed to get out before he blew up again. Without any hesitation whatsoever, he began to run on his way out. The sound of lit fuses resounded all around. Perhaps, this time, he'll manage to get out unscathed. It was already too late. It was as if the hallway itself knew that he would be running early. As a result, the hall exploded shortly after he began to get moving. The blast was once again strong enough to send him straight out of the exit, and it wasn't exactly a good feeling still. Grumbling lowly, he picked himself off the ground and looked himself over. There were no spots or anything like that this time. Still, he felt that something was.... off.He just wasn't sure what it was yet. Shaking his head, he went on to run his hand through his hair, and it was then that he realized just what was wrong. His hair was really fluffy. With a furrowed brow, he pulled a lock in front of him to see it was nice and rainbow colored now too. He didn't slow down, didn't pause or hesitate, and this time it meant that he got out well ahead of the explosion, hearing it thunder behind him. He paused, just briefly, to catch his breath, turning in place and finding the door. He didn't take off in quite the same way, this time, stumbling just a bit.... The pause was his downfall. He only stopped long enough to catch his breath, but even that was too long. He took off running, but too slowly. Much too slowly. This time he was still in the room when the bomb went off, caught up in its swell, swept off his feet and out the door. He landed hard in the corridor, shaking his head a bit, dizzy and uncertain but, it seemed, entirely unaffected by the blast. He looked up the hall, and down, and in the distance, he thought he saw a dinosaur retreating around a corner. He blinked, and it was gone. Strange. Between his feet, though, sat a slightly-blasted chest, and without a moment's hesitation, he stooped to grab its contents. ________________________ Quest Completed!+3 levels
