"He's a kid, a year younger than us," Phobius answered. "Completely insane, only one fourth human, very short, and generally carnivorous other than a tendency to snack on his own boogers. Don't know too much about his heritage other than what I've figured out and what he's told me. Out of the other 12 parts of his heritage, only 2 are actually classed as Beings. Out of his other 10 creature parts, 3 have an XXXXX-class rating."
"Er... isn't that the rating that basically means 'extremely dangerous, run screaming if you see one?" Harry recalled worriedly.
"Yes. Fortunately, he's also part puffskein, part fwooper, and part diricawl, so his dangerous traits are diluted quite a bit. For those who don't know (a. k. a. Harry), a puffskein is basically a little ball of fur that eats boogers, a fwooper's a bird that's really quite harmless other than its literally insanity-inducing song, and diricawls... well, you might know them better as dodos."
Harry blinked as he processed this. "...How does that even work?" he finally asked, his tone containing a sort of disturbed fascination.
"No idea, I try not to think about it too hard," was the blunt reply.

Phobius noticed Dumbledore staring at the group, and could sense the old man's confused anger at how Hermione hadn't abandoned them like he had probably meant for her to. Making sure nobody else was looking in his direction, he looked the Headmaster in the eyes, then slowly and quite deliberately flipped him off. The part-boggart then quite calmly returned to his meal as if he hadn't just given one of the most famous and important wizards since Merlin the finger.
Harry didn't notice what Phobius had done, since he was busy eating - probably a good thing, since it was a little early to start corrupting his sweet, innocent mind.

Phobius, meanwhile, glanced between Harry and Katherine questioningly. "If I recall correctly, you two have your first Quidditch game tomorrow, don't you?"
Harry blinked, realizing that they did, in fact, have their first Quidditch game tomorrow.

"Oh, I think I'm the one who doesn't have anything to worry about," Harry shot back with a playful but determined grin, eyes gleaming with a fierce competitive spirit as he jokingly nudged Katherine's midriff with his elbow.
"I still think they need to snog already, if only to get all that UST out of their systems," Phobius murmured to Hermione with a small smirk.

"Second year at the latest; Mother will probably start trying to push them together when she hears about them," Phobius answered with a small smirk, similarly eating. "If that doesn't work, then they probably won't snog till sixth year - I believe that's when we study Amortentia."
"Said the pot to the kettle," Harry shot back with a grin, nudging her right back again.

"Actually, he had one a little while back," Phobius answered matter-of-factly. "You know, a couple of weeks ago when he had a little trouble looking Katherine in the eye? Of course, being the innocent bloke he is, I don't think he realized what it was - frankly, I didn't think they came that innocent..."
Harry, meanwhile, grinned back at Katherine, ignoring the slight giddy sensation listening to her giggling gave him and starting to eat a cupcake of his own.

Phobius shrugged. "Well, like I said, I don't think he really realized what it was. Frankly, Katherine's probably going to have to make the first move even after we spell it out for him," he reasoned, similarly grabbing a cupcake.
Harry yelped slightly in surprise before grinning and smearing some frosting onto Katherine's own face.
