She had no idea where she was going, but soon was surrounded by trees. She slowed down, then stopped running and felt her legs buckle as she panted for air. She collapsed to her knees and sort of sat, hugging herself. Her lungs were starting to hurt a lot.. She sat there until she caught her breath, then looked around nervously before shakily standing and talking deeper into the woods. She couldn't stop thinking about what had happened in the dorm hallways. It was just so confusing, but she felt so horrible about it. She eventually stopped and sat at the based of a large tree, curling up into a ball and starting to quietly cry. ❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄≋❄

Howecho Echo continued running until he heard Jinthel's quiet cries. he jogged over to where she was and dropped everything and started breathing heavily. "Don't......ever....do that.....again." he said between breaths. her as he talked "i was crying because i thought that you where scared of me. if it was just because of how quiet i was then its fine but don't think it was your fault." he pulled her into a genital hug.

She looked around fearfully and edged closer to the tree, hugging herself. She froze when she saw it was Echo and looked up at him, flinching slightly as he dropped the things he was carrying and started talking. She had no idea what he meant. Why was he even there? She squeaked a little in surprise when he suddenly hugged her and stared over his shoulder with very wide eyes. She looked just as surprised and confused as she felt.. She tilted her head slightly to one side, then shook her head and looked down. She didn't see how anyone could come to care about someone else when they had only met a few hours ago. HowechoEcho smiled "somethings seem impossible, others seem possible but when does feelings ever seem possible or impossible?" he let go of one of her hands and grabbed her notebook and a pencil so she could write what she wanted to say.

At least now she was stopping to really think about his words. She frowned even more and lightly bit her lip, then suddenly she realized what exactly he had said a minute ago. She felt her cheeks heat up as she blushed slightly and immediately looked down, trying to hide that with her hair. It wasn't really working very well because of how short it was though. She felt him let go of one of her hands and snuck a look at what he was doing through her bangs. She blinked as she realized that he was giving her a pencil and.. The notebook Stan had given her earlier. She wasn't really sure what she was supposed to say.. But she had always written something that would do. She opened the notebook and pointed to the one word. Though she was very confused, she had to try to figure out why by herself. Or at least, she thought so. She looked down as she closed the notebook, then glanced up at him through her bangs again. She looked down at his hand and tilted her head slightly, thinking about his offer.. She did like being around him, even though she wasn't sure what to think of the boy.. After a couple seconds, she reached out like she might take his hand, but just lightly touched his palm.. She pulled her hand back quickly, her eyes getting very wide and nervous again.. HowechoEcho watched her as she looked up to him through her bangs. he started to blush when he thought she looked cute like that but smiled kindly when she touched the palm of his hand. "Its OK, I'll help you figure it out when i can." he didn't tell her that he was still trying to figure it out him self but he wanted to help her with it before he figured it out him self. he lowered his hand a bit and started humming a tune one of his old friends made.

Whatever it was. Once again she found herself wondering how he seemed to be able to figure out what she was thinking so accurately.. He had already explained earlier, sure, but that was still strange. She slowly tilted her head slightly to the right, then her lips curled upward in the beginnings of a small smile. HowechoEcho saw Jinthel lean closer out of the corner of his eye. he stopped humming but continued the tune as he started whistling. it was easy to hum the tune but harder to whistle it but he could do it easily because he'd been doing if ever since his friend showed him the tune.

She went completely still, not moving a muscle and watched him curiously now. She thought that tune really was very pretty..
