He smacked Syntax, hard, and shook his arm vigorously underwater.
He took aim and fired again, a crackle of white-blue energy flying across the water and smacking a mermaid right in the schnozz.

Dakota didn't much like water, especially since his weapon was a FIRE BASED WEAPON (what the hell is he doing down here), And thus the descent into the sea was met with a calm and very stoically posed moon hunter.
All the way down, his arms remained crossed until he hit the sea floor and began walking aroundto be fair, he had come for mermaids, like Kostya's text had said.
Why was he getting shitty little seahorses?
Although did this mean he was close to Ariel.
Mmm Hot red head, here he comes.

The sea horses were a b***h but eventually he was past them and on his way to some caves where other hunters were lurking.
Namely Lucky and Mimsy (oh god why.....) and Kostya.
Maybe, he didn't know. WHERE WERE THE MERMAIDS?
