"I don't think eating anything from this place would be a good idea," Sasha rubbed her temples as she waited for Evan to gather whatever he wanted to gather. "This place is .. you can't trust anything here. Nothing is what it seems." She moved towards the door and turned to face the others. "The woods.. not a good idea, either. The first time I was here I was.. left there. Weaponless." Sasha lifted her chin and watched Evan and Matt defiantly, as if daring them to make a comment. "I've been weaponless ever since. Nothing up here," she lifted a hand to tap against her temple. "So we need to be careful. We need to stay wary and alert or we will not make it out of here alive. If you think that a clearing in the woods is the safest place to be, we can find a place, I'm sure. Right now, we're stuck between a rock and a hard place. Do we stay here, or near here? Or do we go into the woods where... she is." Sasha cleared her throat. "She's some kind of ghost. I don't know her name, but I am almost certain she's the one who took my weapon. I don't know why, but I have to find Nona. That's why we're here. That's the only reason we're here." She felt a cold sweat settle across her skin. " I have to get my weapon back." Sasha tucked her hair behind her ears and took a moment to compose herself. "Leave the food. Gather your supplies. We stay away from the main house. We stay away from the chapel. We go to the treeline and we find a place to set up camp there."

Sure, his brain was a little slow for his own good at the moment but as Sasha mentioned she didn't have a weapon again all the things started to click at once. A weaponless hunter, not only was the land that they were sitting ducks in dangerous and there were short two members, but they had someone that they could not leave alone. Matt just merely frowned at Sasha, in return, there was really no comment he could make to her.
At this point Matt was more than happy to not set any camp and just look for the missing weapon and get the hell out of there as fast as possible. Not that this was really an option at all. They had no idea who or what it was they were up against and fighting blindly in the dark was no use.
He just didn't say anything, he just picked up his supplies and held his spot. They could have said he was a wimp but Matt knew literally nothing versus Sasha about the place. Whatever she said seemed to be a more logical answer than just running around like chickens or turning into a pack of dogs and bickering.

"I think it'd be better t'stay on open ground, pers'nally," Wash voiced finally. He was relieved that Sasha had decided not to go down after the missing hunters, but also concerned - he didn't like the idea of leaving them to their fate.
But what choice did they have?
"Once it gets dark out here, real dark, without anything 'sides starlight - we'll be sittin' ducks. At least outside th' trees we'll see 'em when they see us." As an afterthought, he added, "An' lord help you, don't summon a weapon. Those runes'll be like spotlights."

It was with some reluctance that Evan put the canned goods back where he had found them. It was easy to forget, sometimes, that these circumstances were far from typical; an abandoned cottage was hardly just that. He paused and glanced over at Sasha as she mentioned being without a weapon. Suddenly, the size of their group made a little more sense. If whatever was out here was powerful enough to simply take a Hunter's weapon, it was certainly better to be safe than sorry. "Lead the way, then."

Sasha moved out of the cottage, stopping on her way to pick up any supplies that Dylon or Jerry might have left behind. It wasn't really surprising to her that something sinister had probably happened to the Moon and the Sun - it came with the territory, as Sasha had learned the hard way. This was not a pleasant place, and the sooner that the others realized it, the better for them all. Offering Wash's arm a slight squeeze as she passed by him, Sasha set off walking towards the treeline. She could see the chapel in the distance, the estate beyond it. "There's a ghost here. I think she's a ghost. Young. We share many physical similarities. I think she's the one who took Nona but I can't be sure." She talked as she walked, her stride short and clipped. "We'll sleep in teams. Wash and I will take first watch. Evan and Matt can take second. If you see or hear anything - anything - say something. Even if it might seem silly." Sasha very much doubted that any of them would get any sleep that night. "This looks like a good spot," Sasha continued after they'd walked a fair distance. "No fires. No weapons. Same rules as before. If someone comes along, let me do the talking."

Some time had gone by, but Jerry wasn't sure how long. It was strange, sitting out alone in the dark like this. He still got the same twisting feeling in his stomach that raced down his legs and up his spine to the primal terror senses of his brain... but he just... digested it differently now. Terror had turned into Hatred. Hatred he could cope with. He stared off across the clearing, scanning the tree line and was disappointed to not even spot a whisp. He settled for quietly humming to himself, pondering bagpipes and fiddles. Roar's interest lay in the woods, something primal from his life before a weapon calling to him. What he wouldn't love to get a gollem of his natural shape and go running across the moor, howling into the wind and rain. Maybe mangle a few passerby for kicks... The weapon finally noticed his Hunter beginning to nod off when he gave a mental growl. If you're passin' out, go tag the pup. "Huh?" Jerry awoke with a snort, pushing his glasses up his nose as he looked around frantically, "I wasn't-!" He blinked a few more times before hauling himself to his feet, "Yeah... yeah it's... probably been long enough-" He whispered before making his way over to Dylon, crouching beside the other hunter to blearily give his shoulder a shake, "Hey ah... t-tag, you're it, ahahaha." He yawned. "So far there's been very little going on, thank God. If you start to nod off, just wake me, okay?"

Dylon awoke after a moment, groggily groaning and rubbing his face. "Hm? Really?" The young man sat up, stretching his aching limbs. "Lucky us, I guess. Catch some sleep then, Jer. I got ya."The nap had done him some good, anyway. He felt a little more alert if nothing else, despite the yawn he let out afterward.

The first watch passed quietly. Sasha had remained quiet as she sat huddled next to Wash. When it came time to switch, Sasha let out a low sigh. "Evan. Matt. Are you sleeping?"

"Thanks," Jerry repeated earnestly, and wobbled to the spot Dylon had previously occupied, wrapping his thankfully now dry coat around him tightly. He was not used to sleeping on the ground, not without a few drinks in him first, but exhaustion made it easy. Hopefully their strange adventure was done until morning, but every broken twig in the distance, every fluttering night bird made him open an eye until finally he was out, snoring softly. Occasionally, the snores were replaced by a quiet, tuneless hum, which were thankfully only for a few notes before they drifted back into silence.

Evan had been resting in a semi-alert half doze, turned down just enough rest without falling into the true oblivion of sleep. He jerked as Sasha said his name, pulled suddenly into alertness. "No," he replied, quickly shaking off the disorientation of being so abruptly awoken. "Is it our turn?"

"Yes," Sasha's voice was soft, and she glanced over at Wash with a tired smile. "I really doubt I'll be able to sleep, but I think we should at least try."

The second watch began quietly enough for Evan and Matt. Sleep seemed like a laughable dream to Sasha and Wash but exhaustion overwhelmed them soon after laying down to rest, dragging them down into a deep, heavy sleep. When Sasha next opened her eyes, she'd find herself standing in a large hall of mirrors that turned into a maze the further she walked. Each mirror had an ornate frame, the wood intricately carved with small scenes and symbols, music bars, and brief scripts. Within some, her reflection was a man, in others, a women, all in different clothes, most bearing coal black hair, striking blue eyes, and pale skin. Many were a bit dim, blurry, or fogged. Many more has cracks spidering through. A few were simply empty, not even granting Sasha a view of herself within them. Each and every one had a lock. Looking down, Sasha would see she held a key, dark and heavy with purpose.

This had to be a dream.
That thought alone was of little solace to Sasha. It didn't have to be a dream. It probably wasn't a dream at all, but some sort of twisted nightmare given life by the malevolence that seemed to hang over the estate like a thick, foggy shroud.
Sasha turned the key over in her hand, the tips of her fingers tracing over the intricate carvings in the dark metal.
She wanted to wake up. She wanted to wake up and reach out and rest her hand on Wash's chest, to be soothed by the rhythmic rise and fall of his chest as he slept.
Despite that need for comfort, there was something she wanted more. More than anything.
Nona.
Sasha approached the closest mirror, the broken surface a spiderweb of cracks. She lifted the key and would slowly slip it into the lock should it fit.

The broken mirror swung open, and Sasha woke up in the abyss, fear clenching painfully around her throat. She was dying. She was going to die soon if she didn't...
