Adrian sighed softly, shifting as he sat on the bed, unconsciously shifting closer to Lillian though he didn't realize it. "Honestly, I've never even seen one of those, much less used one," he admitted with embarrassment, glancing to the laptop.

Tinkering away on her laptop, Lillian was a bit distracted by the things that she was looking at, almost missing what Adrian had said to her. "Huh? Oh, that's all right. You could probably use it to look things up and I could help you with ordering more arrows, clothes or whatever you may need. And I would obviously be, well Daddy would be paying for the things, but you know what I mean. Though I have been applying for work and I could start buying you stuff without having to worry about Daddy getting angry for me using his money to get you stuff." she said as she moved the laptop over towards Adrian again.{{ooc:}}

Adrian tilted his head thoughtfully. It gave him a few ideas, though he wondered if it was possible. "Most of my arrows, well, the cores and shells, at least, are usually handmade.. speaking of which, I need to grab the ones I fired before," he said with a sigh as he slid off the bed and fluidly moved to the window before flicking it open and backing away from it with a grin that most would have been very unnerved by. After a few moments, he'd shot forward and simply leaped out of the window, not seeming to care that they were on the second floor of the home. He rolled on the small sloping roof, catching his balance in a quick stepping stride that seemed to flow from a rapid roll into a jogging run before he abruptly pushed off, pressing his hands to the edge of the rooftop and flipping in a backwards somersault, waving at Lillian as if he were doing something he did everyday, which wasn't far from the truth. He landed in a crouch in the grass, his gaze unconsciously flicking around as he focused his senses outward as he moved quickly, loping to the tree with surprising speed and jerking the arrows that were buried for a third of their nine and a half inch length out of the tree with a jerk of his arm and flick of his wrist; it showed he was quite strong for his size, as he inspected the heavily cracked arrowheads and sighed, turning back towards the house and loping back towards it. He smirked slightly as he saw the wood pile and took a fluid leap after stepping on the stump used for chopping wood, landing on the edge of the roof above one of the doors on the garage before he pulled himself up onto the roof of the garage not far from the open window of the bedroom.
He shifted as he pushed off suddenly, then pushed off in a fluid jump, ending up in a rolling leap through the window, coming to a stop almost in front of Roxy a few feet from Lillian.

Lillian wondered if Adrian really would take the laptop and look at it; however, she wouldn't be upset if he didn't. She listened to him as he spoke and she nodded at him before watching him going over to the window. She wasn't really sure what he was doing, until something came to her mind as she saw the window being opened and the grin that was on Adrian's face. She was about to say something in objection, although her breathe and voice had left her as she watched Adrian darting forward and jumping clean out the window. There was a very tiny yelp that made its way from Lillian's throat as she dropped her laptop on her bed, moving quickly over to the window, followed by Roxy. She was afraid to see something horrible unfurl before her, though as her eyes lingered on every move made by Adrian she started to think that he might actually know what he was doing. She couldn't believe her eyes, yet she'd seen him doing something just as extravagant in the store with the kayak, so she definitely did believe that he was doing this. She saw him waving and she gave a wave back; but she was a bit dazzled by how Adrian was able to do the things he did with such accuracy and without messing anything up.
Lillian had backed away from the window, coaxing Roxy to move as well, knowing that they'd not want to be there as Adrian came back inside, especially as fast as he was coming. She watched him as he came through the window and rolled, coming to a stop very near to Roxy, who greeted him with a friendly nudge. "That was amazing! At first I thought you'd kill yourself, but you definitely proved that you knew what you were doing." Lillian said, her tone filled with awe.{{ooc:}}

Adrian laughed softly, shrugging his shoulders. "It's what I usually do for money, and you'd be surprised how runners that do that for a while can turn things as simple as a clothesline into a tool to traverse gaps that would blow your mind... though unlike Faith, a friend of mine.. well, I try not to zipline between some buildings with bare hands," he said with a shrug, flicking his wrists and hands, not noticing the flicker of faint bluish energy that trailed after his fingers. "Not to mention I'll have to find something a little more durable for the arrowheads," he sighed as he shifted the arrow cores to reveal the heavily cracked arrowheads before one shattered with a soft snapping crack.

Lillian smiled and she looked at Roxy, who had jumped up on the bed and was begging for attention. "Roxy, girl, you want attention do you? I think that you can get some attention." Lillian said as she turned to the slightly hyper dog that was sitting with her front paws lifted up to her chest. "You want to play with her? I think that she'd like playing with someone other than me." she asked, turning to Adrian. "Oh, and that sounds really amazing. I'd probably not be able to do anything like that for money, although sometimes I'm a bit clumsy... Heh heh... I have won some cash prizes when competing in swimming, but not all that much. And I could let you use my laptop to look for things that could be better for that. IOr I could type up everything for you and I could do all the purchasing, since you say that you don't know how to use a computer." she said, looking at the laptop that was setting on her bed, awaiting a reply from Adrian.{{ooc:}}

Adrian tilted his head. "I don't mind playing with her, though you'd be surprised how easy free running actually is; until Faith told me about it, I hadn't thought I could do it either, yet... it feels like second nature when doing it somehow," he said with a chuckle, rubbing Roxy behind one ear. He was thinking about her offer about the laptop. "Maybe it's better if you handle the laptop... the reason I stopped wearing watches was because they tended to either short out after a few days.... or implode like firecrackers," he sighed with a slight shrug. "To be honest; I don't really know that much about archery; I just followed my instincts about a ranged weapon that would keep those... things.... away... I have no desire to be gutted by one," he said, muttering the last part under his breath.

"I could probably try it out, though it'd have to be in secret, since if Daddy would catch me trying to do anything like that he'd lock me in my room until, well to be honest, he'd probably never let me out if he caught me trying that. And anyhow, I'd be afraid that I'd end up hurting myself... I can swim and all, but that’s not really the same as what you were doing," she said as she sat on her bed, thinking to herself. She wasn't sure if she really wanted to try doing anything other than what she was used to, although she was sometimes up for a good challenge and she thought that's exactly what this would be; however, she'd be taking it nice and slow if she would. "I can do that for you. And that sounds really strange... I mean I've had my share of bad luck with some electronic things, but it was mostly due to me using them too much." she added as she pulled her laptop over to her and began looking things up on arrows, bows and things that they could be made from. And from time to time showing Adrian what she had found to get his opinion.{{ooc:}}

Adrian chuckled. "Trust me, we runners tend to watch out for each other, though it's rare for someone to get declared anathema," he said with a sigh. He cocked his head as he saw the arrows and such she pulled up. "The last time someone got that, they were later found trying to pass off a police officer as a murderer... who happened to be Faith's sister... the guy killed the previous mayor in a nearby city and tried to use Kate as a scapegoat," he said quietly. He tilted his head as he noticed a few of the arrowheads and thought he could create them through a bit more practice.

Lillian was still looking up more arrows and that sort of thing, showing them to Adrian as she listened to him speaking. She thought that it was horrible that someone would try to blame an innocent person for something so terrible. "That's awful... It's hard to think that there are that kind of people in the world... Although if the world were perfect then, well I don't know what it would be like. But I can imagine that it'd be a lot nicer place than the world is now." she said, still looking through the different bows and arrows, both handcrafted and factory made.{{ooc:}}

Adrian shrugged. "It'd be quite a bit more boring, that's for sure; if you think about it, every movie that shows a 'perfect society' on the surface, like "Demolition Man" with Sylvester Stallone, often hides a seriously screwed up group within the 'perfect' side of things," he said with a slight shrug; he had seen the movie while in the orphanage before the accident. He pointed out several arrows that he was interested in, however, most of them handmade.

"I guess that you're probably right. I could only imagine that there'd be one bad apple in the bunch that would end up spoiling the whole bunch right? And we'd not want that now would we?" Lillian said before asking if there was anything that Adrian may like her to put into the shopping list or if he just wanted to look more so at the pictures to try making them himself, since she remembered him saying that his arrows were all handcrafted. She had all the pictures saved to a file, so that if Adrian just wanted to try making them he could look at them there; she was a bit ahead of herself, though she wanted to be certain that, either way, she'd hopefully be able to do the right thing for Adrian.{{ooc:}}

Adrian shrugged. "Some people just aren't satisfied with what they've got," he said with a sigh as the pattering of rain started coming down. He glanced towards the window as he rubbed Roxy's ears and thought of it closing, though to his surprise it slid slowly down to keep the rain from spraying in if the wind picked up.

Lillian nodded in agreement to Adrian. “I think that I could probably put a few of these into the ‘shopping cart’ and then I could take out what you don’t want. That way we don’t have to look up everything again and I have the pictures saved to my computer so that you could just get whatever materials that you’ll need and you can make them yourself or get whoever to make them for you, or whatever you do.” She said, giving a slight chuckle, as she stopped herself from rattling on too much. She looked over at the window and sighed as she heard the rain pattering against the windowsill. “I like rain as much as the next person, but why so much in one day? It’s depressing…” she said, letting out another sigh before deciding that they’d have to figure something to do until the rain stopped; since they obvioulsy couldn’t take Roxy out to play and they weren’t really allowed to play with Roxy indoors, mentioning it all to Adrian. She did mention a few things that they could do since it was raining, like watch something on the television, play a board game, video game, or they could just chat; although, she wasn't entirely sure what they'd actually do, since they didn't know each other well and they didn't know what they both liked or liked to talk about.{{ooc:}}

Adrian chuckled, tilting his head. "Hey, at least Noah ain't around with an ark," he joked. "I'd wager the vampire tried to manipulate the weather, which probably accelerated the storm that started showing itself earlier today," he said with a sigh. He listened to her speaking, though he tilted his head when she paused. "I wouldn't mind watching television, though I'd probably have little idea as to what's on currently that most people would like," he said with a soft exhalation. When he shifted his weight, having forgotten the belt for his jeans when he'd changed earlier, half of the odd dragon birthmark showed itself when the pants slid down a bit.
