"Why do we have to choose? You're using bombs to prove a point? Killing people to solve a murder defeats the point? A crime to prove a crime YOU already know the answer to?!" Melvin's head curt with dealing with crazy, but the point stood that this person was nuts enough to have the council somewhat taking them seriously to remain in the room. He hoped.
"You don't care what we think, but you care enough about what this crazy person thinks not to leave the room and jeopardize lives, right?" Or were they just bored and wanting to entertain them. Then again, Mark seemed like he would be one of the first people to leave if he could.

Leon mentioned carefully to Jason He already got a bullet to one buttcheek today, there was no reason to turn the other cheek now. He was also very glad not to be in moon squad. Or maybe he should be. setting up low calorie, high protein and fiber diets for a few weeks might sort everyone out. caelius might have wanted to start drinking decaf soon. Ami's gaze narrowed and she put her hand in Lex's under the table where no one could see it. Silently she shook her head at Solia. No Solia. No. You were there too don't be stupid.
Lex had been with her and Solia and the others in the haunted house. True there were a few moments where they'd all been lost in the mist, but not nearly enough time to perform the murders of the council. Let alone by a single trainee.
She looked at Gale and nodded. "Why else would he cut in at such an opportune moment?" Her free hand went to curl a piece of hair around her fingers. "Regardless, the problem now is do we vote, or risk detonation. Opinions?"

"Maybe we aren't supposed to have all the pieces of the puzzle, maybe we were never meant to have the whole picture, we're just supposed to be blindly pointing our fingers at someone to start the antagonism up."
He shrugged. "It's happened before. Get us riled up, make us think there's some big conspiracy, when really it was rigged from the jump."

Rep wasn't about to get blown up. He also didn't generally think things through very much.
Dwight had given him endless flack about being a murderer on twitter, it had only been an old woman, that hardly counted as murder at all. This though, had been an entire council of people, and there was just something too ******** wonderful about the idea of it being the life tech.
Sure he was low ranked, sure there were other far more suspicious people cutting about, like Lance or even Simon.
Sometimes sheer hostility and malice won out over actual logical thought and the idea of stalling the way the others were didn't actually appeal to him, he hated waiting.

Deryk shifted uncomfortably as things were escalating a little more. Wait. What did the person on the speaker say? Prop?
...
So that.. that hadn't been a suicide after all? Someone faked their death? That was kind of what it sounded like. Didn't anyone check? That was a little disturbing in on itself. Well, with that much in mind, it was kind of seeming like they were trying to pit them against the division leads and their assistants.
He just turned towards Solia and hoped the leads would answer her.

From H Because he was perfectly capable of defending her against the life division lead. aka no he wasn't all his nopes. "D-did they mean...Jamming? As in signal Jamming?And then All the color drained from his face when Solia asked every division leader to explain what was going on.
The things he did for love
"It would...b-be v-very h-helpful if you c-could...e-explain...t-to us...W-whats g-going on". Because they were going ot listen to a stammering moon trainee.
In a last ditch hope, he looked to Allan. Save me Allan-sama...

"In the end," said Gale, cutting a glance towards Rep and his sudden accusation. "I think it's a little too coincidental that none of our leaders would know so little about this situation - or, at least, pretend to know so little. Not to mention the complete and utter lack of concrete evidence, of major pieces of information, such as an autopsy report or surveillance videos. There are no coincidences when dealing with murder, after all."
He gave a shrug and leaned back in his chair.
"So I take back what I said before. I think they all had something to do with it."
