With the sign finished, he perched it on the edge of the table, and turned a grin at woman walking past. "I don't suppose you'd like a cupcake would you? They're really good! No? That's okay! We'll be here all day if you change your mind!"

All smiles, Liberty's shoulders rose a few centimeters in an easy shrug, bumping Avery's collar-fixing fingers. Had it been crooked?
"I think there's room for two." Picking up her chair, she moved it it over a few feet. Avery's was adeptly replaced, though Liberty's fingers lingered on its back while she took her own seat.
"Better?" Liberty asked.

"It's a start." Red lips curved as she took her seat, propping an elbow on the table, and a chin on her first, to flick her hazel eyes over Liberty, rather than the ever-changing crowd of the passer-by.
They were doing terribly at selling cupcakes, but Avery was hard-pressed to care. She'd been out here all day, and she hadn't seen Liberty in what seemed like ages [It had really been maybe two days, or three, since she didn't really count the Debate, it'd only been one moment of intense eye contact, after all. Did that count? No. Maybe. No.].

Lacking shamelessness, Liberty settled for the lengthened glance towards the confident brunette. It was harder not to blush every time she did with how hard her mind was hoping it was not a coincidence. Being looked at was sheerly enthralling, and it made Liberty's already good mood even better.
"Well," the light tune in her voice began. "I reckon you oughtta teach me how to sell a cupcake, right?"
The redhead dared a longer, holding look.

If Avery was aware of what she was doing, she might've said that it was Liberty's fault for having such an engaging face. Her emotions always shown right on through, in the full furrow of a brow, a frown, wrinkling of that cute, freckled nose, or a wide grin, and lively eyes the color of cut grass. Strong jaw, like she was always sure, and there was small, thin scars amongst the freckles on her face; her upper lip, there on her cheek, and above her eyebrow.
But Libby was speaking. "Hm?" Hazel eyes flicked down to make full eye contact, letting the words register. "Show me what you've got, and we'll see. Maybe you don't need tutoring."

Both Liberty's eyes narrowed a fraction in an attempt to figure out how serious Avery Hollister was. A twitch in the muscle along her jaw.
"Alright." Selling a cupcake was easy, but selling a cupcake while Avery Hollister was watching? Well, that was something else.
Liberty's slightly rotated her chair to get a better look at her . . . friend. "Hm." She settled her left arm across the table and relaxed. "Chocolate cake, vanilla frosting. The chocolate is great for someone having a long day, it feels filling." A noteable glance towards the cupcakes in question. "But that hint of vanilla keeps it from being overwhelming, and a lot nicer to eat."

"That's a good start," Avery raised an eyebrow, thinking about the description, "And I bet you'd sell one." Her smile grew. "Not to me, though." No, she wanted a stronger sell, something more exciting.
The brunette plucked a cupcake from her table, setting it in front of Liberty. It was a light blue, with a pastel yellow swirl of buttercream on top. "Tastes like the summertime. Light, and full of fresh blueberries and lemonade; sweet like your first crush."
"Do you want it?"

Entranced, Liberty's eyes glided over the buttercream.
"I do like lemonade." And the light, fresh taste of fruit was always appealing. But, it was a cupcake. Cupcakes weren't meant to come in peach, strawberry, peppermint, and all of these strange flavors she'd seen running around today.
"I might try it." A slight click from her tongue as she considered further. "If you help me. It sounds to sweet to handle all on my own."
