The last person he expected to meet was Caelius, but the office he went into was one he thought belonged to another superior. What he was was standing in a room with a guy he only had the worst impression about. Sure, the guy could lead a group and kill massive monsters, but he also had no problem sending people to die or even check if someone was safe and alive. His concern for the others under his protection was nonexistent, and Melvin just asked out of a rushed desire to say he said it.
What he got was a warning threat that he didn't even let finish. Turning on a heel, he excused himself and left - quickly.

Ceres stared at Lucky for a second longer, blinking a few times but deciding...well. If he was stone during the time, how the hell could he do it? Or know anything really? He didnt look likethe killing type either.... So with a wave of her hand, she decided that he really was not that suspicious.
Shuffling around she spotted someone she knew... and someone she did not really know. Kat, and... wow she did not even know the other mans name. Either way... she needed to discuss this with others yes? Screw her stupid Survey s**t, she might as well be open. Though being open with others was not the best idea... if you were a certain red head. At least Kat would be understanding...hopefully. She remembered a few faces here and there, and Kat was someone whom was standing in front of her...at that time. One of a few.
"Mind if i join the conversation?" She slid over to the two, giving Kat a friendly smile. "Sup Kat, aandd.... pardon but, i dont think i ever met you before?" She looked at Lex briefly, curiously. She really needed to get out more, meet others.
"Im guessing you guys are also investigating the incident?"

Stepping out of Mark's office to speak with Lex, she made sure that Mark wouldn't try and do a runner by leaning against the door to keep him from escaping. "Mmm.. Honestly, I have no idea who might have done it. I'm hoping I might grab more information, but so far it hasn't been going too well. What about you?"
Perking up when spotting Ceres arrive, she gestured a small wave and nodded. "Hey Ceres! Oh, right. Lex, Ceres. Ceres, Lex." Nodding again, she shoved her hands into her coat pocket, glancing over her shoulder. "Yep. Trying, anyways. I'm not finding anything good."

Solia took a deep breath before diving right in. "Allan is highly unstable as far as mentality is concerned, showing brief moments of deep thought before returning to a carefree state. He expressed surprise at the knowledge that the council had been killed, despite being a division lead who would have had to have been informed of the situation in great detail. His weapon changed, so it's possible it fits what caused the damages in the room, though the council might have fought back." Another breath.
"But then, who is to say that a council member didn't just go off the loony bin?"
She smiled.

While Kat got a friendly nod, Ceres got a rather wary wave. She didn't remember him, obviously, he definitely remembered her. After the whole Hunted House incident, Lex had asked Solia to pull out the files of the Hunters who had been turned during that brief period. Ceres - the one he hadn't shot, but had shot Ryan to try and shoot her. A pang of guilt still shot through his spine every time he saw her or Bix in passing.
"Hi." He greeted, shaking Ceres' hand. "Yeah - I've only found that the assault weapon had to be a large blade, possibly serrated. It's gotta be someone above normal Hunter status, too. Not even Rep could put a dent in the table."

"You got some great information. I got nothing out of him. I ran, honestly." He shook his head and grinned at the young lady before him, shrugging before he continued.
"Thanks for stopping to chat, Solia. I'm kind of clueless about all of this, so it's been kind of weird for me to go poking around. All signs point to crazy as far as I'm concerned."

"I'm not having too much luck either, but honestly after Simon pointed his guns at me earlier for asking a question... I'm not really willing to push my luck too far." She shivered, remembering earlier as she stared down the barrels before running for her life.
Ceres gripped back at the hand with a firm shake, smiling completely oblivious to whatever was bothering Lex at the moment. "Nice to meet you, Lex."
She paused next, listening to his words. Oho... so even Rep couldn't dent the table? Why didn't the asshat say that earlier instead of tossing accusations at her? "Rep also mentioned that apparently he did not have his weapon at the time. I... Were a lot of you weaponless after the events in the haunted house?" She really was showing how naive she was. Ceres was sort of pushin' daisies at the time so, she did not really remember anything prior to waking up on a cold slab. She had no idea that they were even weaponless for a time.
"You think possibly it could be more than one person? I didn't examine the table but... did it look as if only one large blade was used? It just seems unbelievable that only one person could take out the entire council..."

Time to continue investigating. Deryk went on his way, trying to think of anyone else who might know something about this whole thing. At some point, he stumbled by Simon. Though, despite trying to ask him, he was met with nothing but silence in return. That was a little creepy.
Just as he was about to leave, he noticed the Sun assistant summoning his weapons and taking aim.
"AH! DONTSHOOT!"
He fled.
NPCS Killzone - Died prior to incident. Creepy flowers though. Low suspicion. Sam - Didn't answer questions. Was patronizing. Moderate. Mark - Seems to know something. Said he was on my side. Used to be. Moderate. Simon - Didn't talk and... threatened me. Nonverbally. High

A life hunter had appeared practically out of nowhere, casually hiding a clipboard around behind him. He spotted Jerry and made a zig-zag of a beeline, as if not sure whether to directly approach, or pretend to.
"You look like kind of person who knows the gossip," Lucky began, allowing for a substantial pause. "Hear of any strange things in October?"

Giving it a little more thought, Deryk decided to try and see if he could locate one of the other division leads. Maybe he could try and narrow down the list of suspects, or something like that.
The first one he found just happened to be H. Now, the guy always kind of creeped him out, but... he was somewhat more approachable than Caelius. Not by a whole lot though. After asking his question on the murder, he was... just given a rather chilling warning. One that caused color to drain from his face.
He didn't stick around long.

"Hmm.." It was true what Lex said. Whoever had struck the table definitely had to be a higher rank then that of a regular hunter. If Rep and Tracy could barely scratch it then they had to look at the people in charge, and everyone close behind them. Her eyes widened a little at Ceres' words. "He pointed a gun at you for asking him a question?" Definitely something to take note of.
"Man, I have no idea.. But I'm not really good at detective stuff anyways." In fact, why was she even here again?
Peering in the through the door to Mark's office, she grinned a cruel grin. The sun hunter was most amused by this poor death assistants torment. "Now now.. you would suffer less if you would cooperate. Tell me everything you know about the council, Mar - Wait what? I didn't take your entire set! Just the green one. What the heck are you on about?"

Despite the fact that his last two encounters did well to raise suspicion of a few individuals, it really didn't get him anywhere. Thinking to himself, he ended up not paying attention to his surroundings, and ended up bumping into Melvin on accident.
"Ack. Sorry. Didn't see you there," he mumbled. Deryk was about to continue on, but decided to take the opportunity.

"Uh..." Jerry had only just managed to sit down with his coffee when suddenly he was accosted again with questions. Just what on Earth was going on? "Most things that happen here are strange. Er... who are you?" He blinked in confusion behind his glasses. Did he really look like that much of a Yentl? Oh god, he was turning into his grandmother. FIGHT IT. He tried his best to look cool and nonchalant. As he sipped his coffee in that way, it went up his nose, and he gave a sudden snort.
