He'd made it another few steps before that sense of being watched eerily drew worse, his fears growing a bit at a snap from behind as something darted at him. Thankfully the beast WAS infact smaller than last time, that one having prowled off to eat something else perhaps, still flimsy cloth did little protect him against the teeth sinking at him as it darted by, leaving a new trail of red running down his leg to find him with.
The things were working almost like a pack, slowly weakening the prey until it would be fair game for all. Or maybe not as hungry as he'd anticipated. Still, after he'd collapsed briefly to cling to the newest wound a moment he winced and stood again, continuing on. He had to get out of here before it was too late... gods and that poor girl was going through this too.

He had wandered another seeming eternity on a now gimpy leg, that had lost a shoe somewhere in the muck wonderful, and there was another sound again. This time he'd gotten more used to their styles, to a degree anyway.
Rather than becoming still he moved along further, pretending not to notice until he heard another noise, the sound of the muck sloshing oddly at paws. And then nothing before it leapt. Oh. Oh hell no, not again... and this one was going for the throat. Adrenaline or the fact he was just that desperate he wasn't sure which, but he managed to move as fast as he thought possible for himself, swinging an arm around in the things direction at full speed. And it did get his other good arm, but he also got the thing nearly as well, sending it toppling into a puddle of muck and out of sight again as he shouted. "NOT. THIS. TIME." He was less than pleased, certainly, but it seemed to work. After it vanished, as he wandered toward what he hoped was the exit he found nothing else preying on him. Or perhaps it was just the luck that he HAD found the exit itself so soon after. Either way... it worked. Now to see if anyone else had made it through.

"Love my King?" Kashi honestly questioned it. He didn't have any like or dislike for the emperor, really. He shrugged it off as Molan wandered away from him.
He watched Molan walk away. Just watched, smirking all the while. Kashi knew he'd be back. He had something Molan wanted. Though, why, Kashiyoru had yet to find out. He waited patiently, wishing he'd dressed lighter.
"In the center." Kashi confirmed, removing his shoes and tossing them aside and with a wink added: "See you there, love."

Madeline continued scouring the small field for flowers, wincing as they nipped and pinched at her fingers. Her satchel was quickly filling up, but some of the ones she touched would crumble into crystal power, and some just didn't want to budge. She'd even monkey-scaled a tree to reach one, falling on her a** when a wild creature screeched in her face from its sleeping place. With a low grunt, she propped herself up and shook out her hair, her hood slipping back and auburn locks springing up beneath the weight of humidity.
"Is there anything else you plan on throwing at me today?" She shouted into the gloom.
It, as predicted, did not answer.

He slowly stepped forward-- SNAP! Kashi leaped forward, swiftly and almost effortlessly. An instinct kicked in. A whole life avoiding a fight and avoiding pain snapped him into a state of mind. Pirouettes and leaps, dodging and twirling found him moments later on the other side. Panting and sweating, but safe.
He took a moment to recompose himself, before spotting Molan's gimme covered appearance and laughing, almost whole heartedly.
"You made it." He breathed, still chuckling a bit and wiping the last of the sweat from his neck.

She smiled and a little and nodded her head, debating a little more before scooping up the last few blossoms that seemed to even out the pile. "The bog was not a pleasant place to stay, so I'm glad that it was some what easy to get through. Though this place with all the flowers seems nice, if it wasn't for the fact that the flowers seem a bit.. off." Imryn replied with a little laugh, feeling a bit light-headed but determined to press on with as many of the flowers as possible.
"That would be lovely, thank you for the offer. We might be able to meet up with some of the others who came through with you as well, even if it is back at the palace once we finish with the task. If there is anything else you might need, don't hesitate to ask." No reason not to extend as much hospitality as she could upon returning.

As Crispin approached them, it seemed like he was making good time; Harland waved cheerfully at the other man, and then looked over at Kitty, who was decidedly a mess. He was generally the sexier of the two of them, but Harland felt like if they were this covered in mud, it wouldn't matter. "I bet I could out-romance you, Alas," Harland suggested, his voice low, edged with both challenge and amusement.
"Victor gets a victory request? Of any nature," Harland suggested, keeping his smile in place. He offered one hand to Alas, to shake on it, if he agreed. He just wanted a challenge to keep his mind off of... the situation they were all facing.
As Crispin approached, Harland dropped all mention of their wager, and switched on Mr. Charm. But only if Kitty had agreed to the wager, obviously. Otherwise what fun was there to be had?

"Just Shun is enough," he stated, "I had no title before and now that I do, I prefer to not only be known for it."
Yes. He was a Tiger of his Kingdom, and he was proud of it, but he didn't want to go around being called as such. It was just simpler to go by his normal name. It was likely because he was never really one to like formalities too much. He dealt with them if he really had to, but it was a preference that he didn't.
