The Detective nodded as he listened. He stopped when she said her last statement. "A detective?" He asked. He fell silent for a minute. "I see," he said simply. He sighed and lowered the magnifying glass. "Unfortunately this isn't the Sapphire," he told her as he lowered the glass. "It's a Sapphire alright, but just a regular one."

He put the magnifying glass in his pocket. "Remember when I told you before you left that Captain Sandy rarely kept her treasure near her and is willing to leave it somewhere so she could get it later when things cool off? I think that's what she did." He frowned as he thought for a moment. "Nevertheless, the Sapphire of Sorrow is out of her possession and we can backtrack her course to know the general area where she dropped it. We'll have forces combing the area within the hour." He nodded to her. "We appreciate your help Madilyne, without you we wouldn't even have this much of a chance. You'll find your 10 kishin eggs waiting on the boat for your return." He gave her a smile and gestured towards the boat she would take to get back to the mainland.

Lucian nodded "Thank you. I hope I can get something." He said casually. He pet Max's head and walked into the room where he was told the 3 suspects would be.

The Detective twirled a strand of hair a moment, thinking. "I suppose it couldn't hurt," he said finally. "But that's it. You need to go home after that or the government will start getting nervous. It's nothing personal but the higher-ups usually get uncomfortable when beings as powerful as Weapons and Meisters visit the island, because they can bring as much bad as they can good." A car pulled up to the two and the driver came out, opening the door for them. "This car will take us to the area it was dropped," he said, motioning for her to get in.

Lucian looked at the three people in the room with a smile. He gave a small wave "um, hi." He said nervously. He had never done something like this before "Well I'm kind of new to the whole detective business but I used to watch a lot of Scooby Doo so I guess I kind of get the point." He said, mentally facepalming himself for saying that "Well uh, do any of you have any information that could be helpful?"

The car drove through several miles of jungle before stopping. "This is the area sir," the driver said finally as the car slowed to a halt. The driver stepped out of the car and opened the door for Madilyne as Detective Meyers stepped out and looked around. A girl in a blue uniform with a sheathed sword on her hip walked up to the car, snapping a salute to Detective Meyers. "Sir!" She said sharply, holding her salute until the Detective saluted her back. She looked into the car where Madilyne was. "Who is this?" She asked coldly, turning back to the Detective. "This is Madilyne May, a Weapon from the DWMA. She has kindly offered to accompany us on our search," he replied.

The girl didn't reply but it was clear she was not pleased with this turn of events. "Lieutenant Alexis, I know you two will be able to cooperate to the fullest extent," Detective Meyers told her. Alexis snapped another salute but said nothing. Detective Meyers turned to Madilyne. "This is Lieutenant Alexis," he told her. "She's our best field agent and I think if you two work together we should be able to find the Sapphire in no time." He gave Madilyne a small smile as he waited for her to exit the car. All around them police were already searching the area, scanning every nook and cranny around for miles.

The girl looked up slightly at Michi before quickly looking back down, clearly scared of everything that had happened. "I-I don't remember," she said in a small voice, not looking at her. "I was somewhere safe and they took me away..." she said quietly.

The bodyguard spoke up first. "I was making my rounds when I heard the glass break," he said, his deep, booming voice reverberating throughout the museum. "I know the museum like the back of my hand, so I knew exactly where it was coming from and the fastest way there. But when I got there, whoever had stolen it was already gone with the gems. I'm telling you, no one could have gotten in and out like that without someone on the inside. But I was the only one who was supposed to be there." He shook his head in disgust.

The nurse spoke up next. "I know I wasn't actually supposed to be there, but I left my access-card behind when I went home. I came back for it because I knew that when the bodyguard locked up for the night, I wouldn't be able to get in tomorrow without a big hassle. So I figured I could just, you know, sneak back in and grab it then go home without anyone noticing. But...." she sighed. "I got caught up in all this by accident. I had my card, and I was about to leave when I heard the glass shatter. I was on the other side of the museum from where it happened."

"You mean that's where they found you," the bodyguard said from behind his sunglasses. "That's where I WAS! How could I get from one side of the museum to the other in only a few minutes?" The maid replied angrily. "You know the museum as well as I do. And I could." The maid frowned but said nothing.
